The Confident Live Marketing Show is a weekly live video show and podcast. It’s aimed at established entrepreneurs who want to level up their impact, authority and profits through the power of live video, webinars and podcasts. We’ll focus on knocking down the 3 main barriers these entrepreneurs face when creating live content - camera confidence/mindset, tech/gear and content marketing.
It’s hosted by Ian Anderson Gray. He is the founder of the Confident Live Marketing Academy and is the host of the Confident Live Marketing Podcast. He helps entrepreneurs to level up their impact, authority and profits by using live video confidently. He’s founder of Seriously Social - a blog focused on live video and social media tools. He’s an international speaker, trainer, teacher and consultant. He has a passion for making the techno-babble of live video and social media marketing easy to understand. As well as being a geek, husband, and dad to two kids, Ian is also a professional singer and lives near Manchester in the UK.
Hello, Ian here.
Ian:So this is a bit of a bonus episode of the confident live marketing
Ian:podcast, or at least it's different.
Ian:It's probably more like a confessional episode because I'm just sharing with
Ian:you what's happening at the moment.
Ian:there are lots of cool episodes coming.
Ian:They have already been recorded for next.
Ian:Season, which is all about confidence and communication.
Ian:And I'm really excited about that, but there are lots of special
Ian:guests coming on to talk about gear.
Ian:We've got some, lots more studio setups behind the scenes and I've
Ian:got some really good feedback.
Ian:So thank you so much for those of you who have got in touch.
Ian:There's been a couple of you who've said you really like this new
Ian:format, actually more than a couple.
Ian:So that's really encouraging.
Ian:I've really gone out my way to make these more punchy, shorter episodes,
Ian:just to be more respectful of your time, because we're all busy.
Ian:But, in all honesty, I have run out of episodes for this season at the moment.
Ian:I've got some interviews planned, other people have
Ian:said yes, that's all happening.
Ian:But for whatever reason, it's just like a bit of a mad time at the moment.
Ian:next week I'm going to be in London for Adobe max, which I'm very excited
Ian:about, because I'm an Adobe express ambassador, but also I'm really
Ian:interested in what they're doing with AI.
Ian:I've been working with Adobe with.
Ian:that's going to be really good fun.
Ian:And last week I was in Wales with the family.
Ian:We went on a bit of a break and I realized how much I needed that break.
Ian:it's, I, and this is something that I found with the previous, 200 and so
Ian:episodes, it was great to be consistent.
Ian:I'm a massive believer in consistency.
Ian:And for me, that's Being able to create compelling, good, great content.
Ian:I'm really proud of what I did, from May, 2019 through to.
Ian:Last year, was, great.
Ian:Something that I've struggled with in the past, but it did lean,
Ian:lead to a little bit of burnout.
Ian:And so often I think we, we need to listen to our bodies, listen to our
Ian:minds, and we need to take that time off.
Ian:We're all different and I know that I need that time off.
Ian:So that was good.
Ian:I definitely needed that.
Ian:next week I've got this event, but it just has meant that.
Ian:I've not been able to get any of the interviews I wanted to get in.
Ian:So there's going to be a bit of a short hiatus.
Ian:I think, I'll let's I'll see how I get on for next week.
Ian:I think we may not have an episode next week or we may.
Ian:We'll see.
Ian:But what I'm basically trying to say is that we're I'm going to have at least
Ian:two or three weeks before we get back to these behind the scenes studio episodes.
Ian:And I'm sorry about that.
Ian:It's not what I intended, but I hope that you will understand and be excited
Ian:for all the episodes that are coming.
Ian:Cause it's going to be really, good.
Ian:And this, whole.
Ian:Set up this whole new setup has enabled me to be a lot, more smart with my time.
Ian:And because we're doing two episodes and recording two episodes with my guests
Ian:in an hour, one for this season, the next one for the next season after that.
Ian:and that is really good.
Ian:And if you're interested in more of the process of how that, how I do that, let
Ian:me know, and I will do an episode on that.
Ian:I'm actually going to be talking about a lot of that, at an event I'm speaking
Ian:at in May, which is called TubeFest.
Ian:this is my friend, Matt Hughes is putting on his first ever event,
Ian:I think at least that's what I believe, in Birmingham in May.
Ian:So if you are in the UK.
Ian:Or you can get to the UK and you would like to go to TubeFest.
Ian:It's going to be all focused on video.
Ian:There are some fantastic speakers there.
Ian:I'm going to be speaking there and I'd love to see you.
Ian:So do let me know.
Ian:I'm also probably going to be going to Atomicon as well
Ian:in, I think that's in June.
Ian:there we go.
Ian:So lots of cool things happening.
Ian:And of course there is the other podcast that I've got,
Ian:which is very different to this.
Ian:It may not be your cup of tea, But I just wanted to mention,
Ian:I've been working on that as well.
Ian:And that's probably another reason why, I've just been so busy and
Ian:that's the smart ADHD podcast.
Ian:so this is for smart creators, entrepreneurs, and business owners who
Ian:are navigating their lives with ADHD.
Ian:And we interview guests, experts, on ADHD.
Ian:And we look at how we can become smarter with smart
Ian:tools, smart strategies as well.
Ian:So do check that out at smartadhd.
Ian:me.
Ian:And there are lots of other cool things happening, which I will be
Ian:sharing with you in the future.
Ian:So I will stop gibbering on, but I will leave it there and hopefully
Ian:we'll have an episode in not sure about next week, but maybe the week after.
Ian:but do stick with me and I'd love to hear from you.
Ian:So if you've got any thoughts on this podcast, any recommendations, any
Ian:thoughts on what you'd like me to cover, do send me, an email to ian at I A G
Ian:dot me, and I will get back to you.
Ian:that's it for this week.
Ian:And until next time, I encourage you to level up your impact authority and profits
Ian:to the power of confident live video.
Ian:I'll see you soon.
Ian:Bye.
