Speaker A:I know what it feels like to be stuck, unsure of what your purpose is or where to even begin.
Speaker A:I've been there and I know how confusing and heavy that can feel.
Speaker A:And that's why today I'm sharing how to start moving forward and begin uncovering your God given purpose.
Speaker A:So grab your notebook and pen and let's dive in if you're ready to break free from stuck, gain clarity and take steps towards discerning your unique purpose, all while following God's guidance to become the person he created you to be.

Speaker A:All right, let's get into today's conversation.
Speaker A:I remember a few years ago I was lying on the couch pregnant, struggling with morning sickness that was continuous morning sickness throughout my day and feeling this deep ache in my heart.
Speaker A:And at the time I had been doing the mindset work and I was just really digging deep into what I really wanted.
Speaker A:But underneath it all I was questioning what is my purpose?
Speaker A:What is my Purpose, God, why did you create me?
Speaker A:And I would start searching for answers and then I'd stop in frustration and confusion.
Speaker A:And the more I searched, the more lost I felt.
Speaker A:There were so many voices online, but there were so few that were rooted in the Catholic teaching.
Speaker A:I didn't want to be led astray.
Speaker A:I wanted to find truth grounded in scripture, in the teachings of the church from reliable Catholic sources.
Speaker A:That was from priests, bishops, theologians that I could trust.
Speaker A:And it was through my process of trying to figure out my unique purpose, led by God and aligned with the Catholic faith, that I found the clarity.
Speaker A:And now I know a way to help you find your purpose.
Speaker A:God's way, rooted in truth and aligned with his church.
Speaker A:So if you've been searching for your purpose and you're tired of just feeling stuck, this is where the shift begins.
Speaker A:Let's talk about what it really means to start uncovering your God given purpose and the first steps to take today.
Speaker A:So one of the biggest things that we have to overcome before we can move forward is just getting out of our own heads.
Speaker A:We get stuck thinking, I don't know what to do, I don't even know where to start.
Speaker A:And that's okay, that's perfectly normal to feel that way.
Speaker A:Oftentimes we find ourselves staying stuck and we do not move forward.
Speaker A:We remain in paralysis because if we do not know where to start, we just stay stuck.
Speaker A:So confusion and overwhelm cause us to stay stuck and not move forward.
Speaker A:And we usually want that clarity before we even want to move forward, forward.
Speaker A:So then we're just stuck in the cycle of going back and forth where I want clarity.
Speaker A:But wait a minute, I'm confused and I feel overwhelmed.
Speaker A:So I guess I'm just going to stay stuck.
Speaker A:So just take a deep breath and just acknowledge that feeling.
Speaker A:Stuck.
Speaker A:It's being a human.
Speaker A:It's a human thing.
Speaker A:But it doesn't have to stop you because the good news is that God, he's a God of clarity and not confusion.
Speaker A:He wants to help guide you, especially on your unique mission that he created you for and that no one else is can do, but only you.
Speaker A:And I love Esther's scripture and I think about it often.
Speaker A:It is.
Speaker A:And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this.
Speaker A:And this is Esther 14:4.
Speaker A:Maybe God is stirring something in your heart right now, whispering that you're meant for more.
Speaker A:So is God stirring in your heart that you're meant for more, that you have a purpose?
Speaker A:Is he calling you to move forward for such a time as this.
Speaker A:Could this be the time, the season he's calling you to move forward in faith.
Speaker A:I want you to open up your journal after listening to this episode and invite God in and ask God, are you asking me to move forward now?
Speaker A:Is this the time, the season in my life that you are calling me to move forward?
Speaker A:I do not know how, but that is okay, Jesus, I trust you.
Speaker A:I will move forward in faith and action and that is pretty powerful.
Speaker A:Just even opening up and telling Jesus that I trust you and allowing him to come in and show you the next steps to help you to move forward.
Speaker A:I truly believe that God is calling you and stirring in your heart for a reason.
Speaker A:You've already taken a step forward without perhaps even realizing it.
Speaker A:Just by listening to today, you've taken that step.
Speaker A:You're listening to the podcast, perhaps you're binge listening and getting caught up all on these episodes.
Speaker A:And that is taking the first step because you feeling that stir in your heart and you are going forward in faith and you are starting to seek.
Speaker A:You want to stop that confusion of not knowing where you are and how to even start.
Speaker A:You know, it can be scary to move forward when we do not know the outcome.
Speaker A:And it's easy to hesitate, but we'll never know what God is capable of doing through us if we stay still, if we don't move forward.
Speaker A:We have to move forward or we'll never know if God is calling us into our unique purpose.
Speaker A:And I felt that same fear when God called me to start this podcast.
Speaker A:Questions filled my mind.
Speaker A:Was will anyone listen?
Speaker A:What will my husband think?
Speaker A:Can I really do this in this busy season of motherhood?
Speaker A:But I knew I had to trust him and take the step anyway.
Speaker A:Goosebumps running down my legs.
Speaker A:If you listen to several of my episodes, you know that I've heard from other priests, several priests, saying that when you get the goosebumps, that is the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:So he oh, here he is again.
Speaker A:He is telling me that he's in agreement.
Speaker A:This is something that he wants me to say to get out to you as well, that you have to trust him.
Speaker A:You have to take those steps anyways, even if it may be scary.
Speaker A:You don't know what to do.
Speaker A:You don't even know where to start.
Speaker A:Just trust him.
Speaker A:And I want to tell you the same thing today you can do this.
Speaker A:You can find and live out your purpose even in the busy season of your motherhood.
Speaker A:I am a mother of two young toddlers and before I started path of trying to find my purpose.
Speaker A:I was pregnant and and I was lost, confused.
Speaker A:And I stopped and I started looking and then I just kept feeling lost, confused, overwhelmed.
Speaker A:So I quit.
Speaker A:I just stopped searching and then I started picking back up after my daughter was born.
Speaker A:So I had a newborn that I was breastfeeding and juggling all the things and that was busy.
Speaker A:Even now as I'm living out my purpose, I have two young toddlers running around.
Speaker A:I just want you to know that you can do this.
Speaker A:You just need to take that step when you're ready and when God is telling you to start moving forward.
Speaker A:That this is what I want.
Speaker A:I'm ready to start discerning what my purpose is.
Speaker A:To discover it.
Speaker A:What it is, Lord, that you are calling me to let's pause for a moment and just recap some key points from today's episode.
Speaker A:These are the truths I want you to remember as you take your next steps in discerning your your God given purpose.
Speaker A:You don't need a big plan to start, just one faithful step towards God's calling.
Speaker A:God.
Speaker A:He's a God of clarity and he wants to guide you into your unique purpose.
Speaker A:So invite him into the process and move forward.
Speaker A:Even when it's scary, Faith over fear opens up the door to discovering your purpose.
Speaker A:Feeling fear or uncertainty, it's normal.
Speaker A:And know that that clarity and confidence, it grows as you walk in faith.

Speaker A:And even though we do not know the full outcome or where you're leading us today, we trust that you know what is best for us and that your timing is always perfect.
Speaker A:When the timing is right, we ask that you stir in our hearts the desire to move forward and faithfully take that next steps that you are calling us to take.
Speaker A:In the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

Speaker A:All right, so let's take this from our head to our heart.
Speaker A:Knowing the truth is powerful, but that real change that we seek happens when we act just one small step at a time.
Speaker A:So grab your journal and if you don't have one, get one and invite God into this moment and ask yourself, God, are you asking me to move forward now?
Speaker A:Is this the time, the season, in the life that you are calling me to step forward?
Speaker A:I don't know the how, but.
Speaker A:But that's okay, Jesus, I trust you.
Speaker A:I will move forward in faith and action.
