A few months ago, it was one of those days where everything just felt off.

My energy was low, my to do list felt endless, it was growing out of control, and I couldn't find the motivation to even start.

I kept staring at my laptop hoping inspiration would strike, but nothing happened.

I tried coffee, I tried stepping away for a few minutes, I tried even doing some chin ups, but the frustration just kept building.

Then I remember a playlist that I had created for moments just like this.

Speaker:

I put on my headphones, hit play, and within seconds, I felt amazing.

Speaker:

My shoulders relaxed, I felt more awake, and I even started smiling.

Speaker:

That playlist reminded me that I just needed the right energy boost.

Speaker:

That's when it hit me.

Speaker:

Music isn't just entertainment.

It can be used as a tool.

If one song in that playlist could change my energy so quickly, Why aren't I using it intentionally every day?

My favourite genre is EDM, Electronic Dance Music.

They have little or no vocals, so they're less distracting while still providing an energizing beat.

The repetitive rhythms can help you get into a flow state more easily.
