Summary:

In this day we must have a deep relationship with the Lord and one another that is without the bonds of obligation and oppression. Giving the greatest gift God has given us, our free will, back to Him, and not to anything else is what He is after. It's all about the Lordship of Jesus Christ over our lives.

Show Notes:

  • God is raising up sons who know who they are.

  • We must walk with God without bonds and obligations to anything if we are to please Him.

  • You cannot have a walk with God if you got bonds. That's not just with people, it's religious concepts, ideas, and obligations.

  • The less we are bonded to anything the freer we are to express our hearts.

  • We must decide where we are going to give our free will. What are we going to be bonded too? Will we give it to other things or God?

  • Being bonded to one another in relationship through the Holy Spirit is a bond that creates life.

  • We are losing all our concepts, ways of thinking and things we have been bonded to other than Him, as we all come into His Lordship.

Quotes:

  • Knowing that you have this relationship with the Lord, you're not concerned about losing out with God, not doing enough, we have to come out of that whole arena of being obligated.

  • You cannot have a walk with God, the way He wants you to walk with Him, if you've got bonds.

  • It's really a foreign concept to Americans because we are free and we are independent. That's not God's sons. By His Spirit, He is setting us all free to be something that we could never be by our own will, our own attempts.

  • It's all about your heart, being free and expressing or being who you are, in the Lord.

  • What are you going to do with your freedom? Are you going to give it to the Father and become bonded to him? Or you're going to give it to a career? A man or a woman? Ideas? A government? Or are you going to take the greatest gift you have from God that free will, and you're gonna give it to Him?

  • We can either get poisoned through bonds, or we can get the flow of life through bonds.

  • I can't walk with you in the Spirit unless I'm bonded to you. And how am I bonded? Because we're listening to the same Holy Spirit.

  • We're bought with a price? And we're not our own? And from that point, if you're His and you're submissive to Him, then the relationships that you make from that place should be under His Lordship.

  • We're free to serve the Lord. We're free to submit to Him. And in our submission to Him, He orders our steps. I think it really is that simple.

  • That's the message we've heard, the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We grow up into the head, the Lord Jesus in us, His lordship. That's Christ speaking through us.

References:

Exodus 21:5-6

But if the slave plainly says, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not leave as a free man,’ then his master shall bring him to God, then he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost. And his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him permanently.

I Corinthians 6:20

for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

Ephesians 4:11-13

And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

John 14, 15, 16, 17

Take Away:

Today we must be free from everything that would be a negative influence in our relationship to the Lord. As we mature in Him we are finding that our freedom is to serve Him and His people.

It's a simplicity of knowing who you are. Knowing that you have this relationship with the Lord, you're not concerned about losing out with God,not doing enough, you know, we have to come out of that whole arena of being obligated. I tell you that is, that is such a trap, and and becomes a bond. And if there's one thing that stops, everything we're doing, it bonds Any kind of a bond. And I think that's something that God is just absolutely removing out of our midst.

Roger

You cannot have a walk with God, the way He wants you to walk with Him, if you've got bonds. And that's not just bonds with people. It's like what you were saying religious concepts, ideas, all those things. When we're completely free, and there's no bonds with anyone, or anything, and all those obligations disappear; there's the paradox. Yes, we walk together. But we walk free, before God with no obligation. We're under nothing, but to please Him, to worship Him.

Ron

It's all about your heart, being free and expressing or being who you are, in the Lord. The less bonded you are to things, the less clouded you are. The more you trust the Lord, and relax in Him, the more you flow with the Holy Spirit, the more you flow with Him, because it's you, it's Christ in you. It's freeing the Christ in you. I think this is where God will have the effectiveness He wants through his sons. All the religious trappings are falling off, the religious conditioning's are falling off.

Dale

What are you going to do with your freedom? Are you going to give it to the Father and become bonded to him? Or you're going to give it to a career? A man or a woman? Ideas? A government? Or are you going to take the greatest gift you have from God that free will, and you're gonna give it to Him? If you give it to Him, you no longer have a free will. You're bonded to Him. The bonds of a bond servant. Putting your ear to the doorpost for the awl. We can either get poisoned through bonds, or we can get the flow of life through bonds. And we talk about a walk in the Spirit. I can't walk with you in the Spirit unless I'm bonded to you. And how am I bonded? Because we're listening to the same Holy Spirit. Being in the body of Christ. I can't be in the body of Christ, unless I'm bonded to it. How am I bonded to it? I have a specific gift that I take that gift and I submit to the rest of the body for this specific gift to flourish and grow. And how do I flow? I flow across that bond, that relationship. We can call them a lot of different things. It's a condition of what do you do with your spirit? How do we submit one to another?Where are you going to bond? Are you going to bond with Him? Are you going to bond with those who He has raised up?

Ron

We're bought with a price? And we're not our own? And from that point, if you're His and you're submissive to Him, then the relationships that you make from that place should be under His Lordship. You know, His lordship His direction. As simple as that sounds, I think that's the fulcrum point of all relationships. Without the revelation that you are not your own, then you're free to do or at least you think you are free to do what you want to do, or, or make relationships however you want them and that's basically humanity. They relate to whoever they want to they make relationships with whoever they want to the way they want to, and they relate the way they want to. If you're not your own your owned, you're a possession of the Lord Jesus Christ, you're possession of the Father. You don't get to choose, oh, I'm going to relate to this person and this is why I'm going to relate to him. No, you got to go back to the boss, looking to the Lord about all things, you know, it has to be by the Spirit, it has to be by revelation. And that's a whole foreign concept to the human mind. You know, it's really a foreign concept to Americans, because we're free, and we're independent. That's not God's sons, By His Spirit, He's setting us all free to be something that we could never be, by our own will, our own attempts.

Roger

You know, that scripture there in Ephesians, we've heard ten million times about how God gave apostles and prophets, pastors and teachers, evangelists, it says until. It talks about how to we all grow up into the head. And I think that's really what's happened. That we have, and we'll continue, but we have grown up into the head. Who was the head? It's the Lord Jesus Christ. That's the message we've heard from day one, the Lordship of Jesus Christ. And while God has been bringing us here, we've had different ideas, different thoughts, different interpretations of 100 different things. You know, we see things this way that way. But all that is falling away, as we grow up into the head. We're in His head, ship, the Lord Jesus in us, His Lordship. Things are dropping off, things are being narrowed down, so to speak, where there's just one Word beginning to be spoken, and that's Christ speaking through us.

Mike

He's been the bridge for us to come from the soul flesh into the Spirit realm, and have that experience with the Father be a reality. Because like what He expressed in John 14,15,16 and,17, those four chapters. This, this drive, He has to come and experience what the Father and I are experiencing. The whole Spirit of the Word is Father, Son, Father Son, manifests in one another.

Roger

The freedom we have is the freedom to serve. Our freedom is to let go of our freedom. And I think we're free. We're free to serve the Lord. We're free to submit to Him. And in our submission to Him, He orders our steps. I think it really is that simple.
