Learning to discern the spirit of poverty

For decades, even centuries, a spirit of poverty has invaded the Church. What is a spirit of poverty, you ask?

Simply this: A spirit of poverty is a collective and religious mindset that believes the following:

The poor are virtuous, the rich are sinful
God doesn’t want you to be wealthy
Having money will lead you to hell
Jesus was poor and so should you

In this episode, we will take a biblical look at what some have called "The Prosperity Gospel" to find out if riches really do lead to vice, or if we were only taught so.
