#8 Episode - An interview with Kelly Tamplin, founder of Complete Confidence Makeover

This week we sit down with Kelly Tamplin: former model, co-founder of Complete Confidence Makeover; accredited confidence coach; current Miss Universe Great Britain finalist and a serious ball of infection positive energy!

The audio on my end is a bit sketchy at times, but no one wants to hear me anyhow. Thankfully, Karen comes through crystal clear (we'll blame Zoom on this one somehow....)

It's a great talk about mental health, depression, suicide, the reality of pageantries, finding your inner confidence, and the ways in which Kelly is helping women right now.

Thanks for watching our video! We'd love to hear your feedback and if you're enjoying what you see, please click Subscribe!

FEM Apparel was started by the father and step-mother of two girls. Concerned with societal pressures and inequalities, FEM Apparel was created with the idea of showcasing thought-provoking phrases to encourage discussion, highlight disparity and challenge the status quo to be inclusive and equal.

We currently support two different charities. For purchases made in Canada we donate to the Canadian Women’s Foundation. They are an organization that provides programming and support for four urgent issues: gender-based violence, economic security, girl’s empowerment and inclusive leadership. The foundations programs are created by women for women and tailored to the specific communities in which they are engaged.

For purchases made from anywhere else in the world we donate to UN Women. A branch of the United Nations, UN Women is a truly global platform that works with UN Member States to help them set, and achieve their goals for gender equality. They work with governments and civil society to design laws, policies, programmes and services needed to ensure that the standards are effectively implemented and truly benefit women and girls worldwide.
