Shownotes
This week on the podcast we have on another great tennis parent, Kalin Davidov. Kalin is the father of one of the world's best juniors Teo Davidov.
Teo is an ambidextrous player. I was seriously impressed with Teo's skills and attitude when I saw him reach the semi finals of the IMG Future Stars event.
We discuss:
- Kalin's background in pro sport coming from a volleyball career in Bulgaria
- His knowledge of meditation, yoga, nutrition, chinese medicine and tennis
- The commitment he has made to coaching his son and how he can become a better coach
- The reasons for wanting Teo to use both hands to play tennis
- How Teo's game will cope with the men's game
- The importance of athleticism, olympic weightlifting and controlling the mind
There's so much to learn from this episode so I hope you enjoy it!
