“I think people are realizing you don't need all of that stuff. Quality is better than quantity, so find your style and feel confident in what you're wearing. In my opinion, this is more important than showing up in a different outfit every day.” – Heather Sullivan

Heather Sullivan was a nutritionist but when her job became too intertwined with her personal life, she threw herself into creative pursuits. The result was a new slow fashion label dedicated to stylish, high-quality pieces.

She is our guest this week on Rock Your Joy and discusses her mission to provide women with chic, climate-friendly, well-made clothing that they don’t have to think about. Heather also shares how finding her style made life with young children much easier. Listen to learn how you can simplify your wardrobe and still feel good about what you’re wearing.

Heather Sullivan is the Creative Director and Founder of Vincent James and lives in Charleston where she recently moved from Chicago with her husband and four young children.  Her long-time passion for design started as a child when her pattern-maker grandfather, Vincent James, would help make her fashion designs come to life. As her own family grew, Heather's need for a functional but still stylish wardrobe that took her from park dates to meetings to cocktails inspired the conception of her line.  Her passion for environmental and women's rights drives the line's ethics.

Aine Rock is an artist, entrepreneur, mom and High Performance Coach working on becoming the best version of herself and inspiring others to do the same.
