are here with the wine concierge, Leslie

Freelo. Hey, Leslie. Hello. Thanks

for having me. Thanks for being here with us. I'm so excited.

You came for your second year for participating with us. Last year

goodness. I know. But I have to say, this year is

like ten times what

you did last year. I'm so proud of you. And

people are in for an excellent treat.

it on Clubhouse, and you gave

away a really amazing giveaway last year. And you

also hosted our staff party, and I

think it was a sangria. That you yes,

we were doing wine cocktails. Yeah, super

inspiring. That was such a fun night. And I loved the

way that all of the behind the scenes people and all the

speakers got to hang out, get to know each other a little bit better that

night. And yeah, that drink you made was

you. Thank thank you. You yeah. Share

with everyone a little bit about yourself. So my name

is Leslie Freelo, as Leilani said, and I

am the wine concierge. And the Wine Concierge

is an online wine store. I like to

say we're like total wine, but

1000% better. We focus

on women and minority wine

producers and brands, and we really like to

promote our brands that we work

with. We work with small batch

vineyards, so you may not be able to find them

in the stores, and that's what we love about them. Not

that there's a scarcity, but we want to make sure that people

have access to good wine. And so that's what we do at the Wine

Concierge. I love that I can't stop

thinking about wine. Every time I talk to you,

I'm like, what kind of wine am I having tonight with dinner?

Right. So what

is so special? I know. And, you

know, what's so special about Get Seen in the kitchen? We just keep

getting more and more excited about it, more and more creative ideas coming

as we do, the planning of a meal and everything. But what do you find

from a guest perspective? What do you get most excited about for

them? Well, I think

one this time of the year is so

hectic, and so you

self impose these things

that you should do at the holidays. Right.

And especially women and

moms and wives. You have a laundry list

of things to do and the get scene in the kitchen

is your opportunity to take off

that hat or what have you and let someone else cater to

you and show you some great things that are easy to

do. Or you can just enjoy it and not do it, but

it just gives you a break at this

time that we impose these

constraints on ourselves or these obligations on ourselves. And

so the women who are working on get seen in the

kitchen are so dynamic, they're so

talented, and they always come up with these ideas and I'm

like, damn, how do they think of that? So I think

any guest that's watching, they're going to enjoy

it. Yeah, I love that. I love the way you really

shared into and spoke into how busy we are in the season

and the feeling that we're going to get because there is that opportunity

to just watch. You don't have to cook with us. You

can approach this any way you like. There's no right or wrong.

You can go and say and eat a bag of chips while we're cooking these

fine foods. How many

times have you done that watching the Food Network? And you're like,

wow, that looks like a great dish. Chomp chomp on some more

pop, right? Nowadays all

I can eat is a skinny pop. But.

I don't think it makes you skinny when you eat the whole big bag, though.

No, it does not.

Oh, my. But, yeah, I think it's so special. We

have two chefs that are incredible at

what they do. I mean, highly sought after

authors. I mean, all these things, right? And then we have a

mixologist who's just booked up to the nines, one of the chefs catering

all over the place. And then we have you, the wine concierge, doing what

you do. So

just in this season, so many people want your baskets. So

many people are like, okay, Leslie, let me get another order in all

these things, right? And you guys are all showing up in excellence

to create this incredible experience for everyone.

And I keep thinking about the experience. And I peek in your email

threads. I'm going to tell you what I told the other ladies. I was like,

I'm peeking in the thread, but I'm not looking. I'm like, reading a little bit

and then I stop. Because the first time in my life I think I want

to be a little surprised. And I don't really care for surprises,

but this time around, I'm like, this. Is kind

of is. It is.

We're we're about wine, and last year we did that

cocktail, but this year,

Rachel and I are collaborating on a cocktail. And I

love it because she is a true mixologist. She knows her stuff,

what have you, and just a mere suggestion of a couple

ingredients. She has just taken it to a next

level that I'm excited about. Yeah, me too.

And I would love to see some I mean, if it's a fit, of course,

no pressure, but I'm looking forward to a collab between the two of

you because that would be so incredible.

You have the whole bar right there. You have you who just shows up in

excellence when it comes to all your knowledge about wines and then

her with the cocktails and the mocktails and what a fun

night that would be where everyone can just kind of

figure out whatever they're into. They can watch you both. I mean who knows? Just

throwing it out there. I'm just saying.

You don't want to give up on using a horrible

football analogy

at the 1 YD line. You want to carry that ball

into through the goalpost and

so you want to have the

skills and the training and hear what

the speakers have. At this point. This is going to carry

you not only through the end of the year with

excellence but it's going to propel you into the new

year. And who doesn't want especially

if you're an entrepreneur, who doesn't want that extra little boost,

that battery in their back to propel you into the new

year on a good foot. So I think every

entrepreneur should be attending and listening to

this and the get seen in the kitchen is

really a bonus. You should take advantage of

this. This is a bonus just to

enjoy the holiday season and to see

other dope people there so you can just

have a comfortable mindset. Because one thing Leilani and I know I'm going a little

long, but one thing when we think about business

training and these seminars we just think business,

business. But you know what, that is

boring and you want to have some fun because we all

have to work. Know, we won the lottery and

we didn't because we don't live in Minnesota where they only pick

lottery winners, know? So you

want to have fun and why not have fun doing

while you're working. I think it's a no brainer.
