we're talking about intuition and

how to use it to get more out of your

4

:

business, align with your clients and

attract exactly the clients you want.

5

:

All this and more in this

week's Choosing Happy podcast.

6

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Good morning

and welcome to the Choosing Happy podcast.

7

:

I'm Heather Masters, and it's August.

8

:

It's Woo Month, where we explore

all things energy, spirituality,

9

:

and sixth sense to help you with

your life and business, especially

10

:

in these uncertain times.

11

:

Today, I have the greatest pleasure

to talk with the amazing Cassie Hicks,

12

:

who is an experienced business and

energetics coach specializing in client

13

:

attraction for ambitious entrepreneurs.

14

:

Welcome Cassie.

15

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Good morning, Heather.

16

:

Thank you so much for inviting me here

17

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Oh, it's.

18

:

A pleasure to have you.

19

:

And could you tell us a little

bit more about yourself, about who

20

:

you help and how you help them,

especially around the energetics part?

21

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Absolutely.

22

:

So I'm Cassie Hicks and I help ambitious

fempriners to get fully booked with

23

:

soulmate clients, but without hustle,

without bro marketing, uh, using

24

:

energetically aligned strategies.

25

:

And I'm a big proponent of human design.

26

:

So I'm sure we'll be talking about that.

27

:

I'm also a mom.

28

:

I've got a rescue dog.

29

:

And I've manifested my dream home.

30

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Can you begin

then by telling us a little bit about your

31

:

journey and how you found your way into

human design, energetics, and as you say,

32

:

how you manifested what you've manifested

for yourself in your life as well?

33

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Yes, I mean, my background,

34

:

I've had a career in marketing.

35

:

So firstly corporate, and then

I ran a, I was a director of

36

:

fundraising for a national charity.

37

:

So I was effectively, you know, in

the marketing in the third sector and

38

:

then started a marketing agency that I

ran for eight years very successfully.

39

:

I started that up as a single mum going

through a divorce with two young children,

40

:

built it up to six figures, everything on

the outside seemed very rosy and business

41

:

was very, very successful, but I started

to feel like it was a little bit soulless

42

:

and I was managing a team of eight.

43

:

We had some really big clients, we're

handling a lot of money with ad campaigns,

44

:

but there was, it just started to feel

soulless and at the same time I've always

45

:

been interested in personal development

but I don't think I'd really embraced my

46

:

spiritual journey until I got into my 50s

and um I started to have this internal

47

:

struggle between my spiritual side and

the agency that I was running and what I

48

:

really wanted to do is bring those pieces

together and it took me about two years

49

:

to really fully integrate and embody.

50

:

Marketing with spirituality.

51

:

And I now, now that I'm in that

place, it, to me, it seems like the

52

:

obvious answer for everyone that's

running a business, particularly

53

:

conscious heart centered women who are

running businesses their lifestyle.

54

:

And it's about fulfillment and

happiness, not just about making

55

:

money and Being a business woman,

it's about that holistic lifestyle.

56

:

And so for me, the manifestation

part has been very important too.

57

:

So in terms of, I've manifested all sorts

of things in my life, relationships,

58

:

cars, money, but most recently my

dream home, has been quite a story,

59

:

as you probably know from the Fully

Booked for Entrepreneur Festival.

60

:

Um, so for me, this is

a continuing journey.

61

:

I've still got a long way to go, but

I'm attracting women who are quite

62

:

often spiritually in the closet,

particularly if they've come from

63

:

corporate, but they know that there's

64

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Hmm.

65

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

than just the strategies.

66

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Okay.

67

:

There's a lot there.

68

:

So can we, can we go back?

69

:

You said it, it took you two

years to really bring together

70

:

the spirituality and the business.

71

:

Can you tell us a little bit about that

journey just for other entrepreneurs who

72

:

might be struggling with the same thing?

73

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Yeah, I mean, the word here is

74

:

pivoting, and that's quite a trendy

word, isn't it now to pivot from

75

:

one type of business to another.

76

:

And so I, I thought it would be a very

easy pivot for me to go from running

77

:

a marketing agency to being a coach.

78

:

I had all the experience, I had

the client base, I had the brand.

79

:

I had the audience and I just thought

I would wake up one day and decide

80

:

I was going to be a coach and would

fall into place and it didn't.

81

:

I actually burnt my business

to the ground and effectively

82

:

started from scratch and then I

83

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Right.

84

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

brick wall after brick

85

:

wall after brick wall.

86

:

And that's why it took two years.

87

:

And during that time I was serving

clients and running my business, but

88

:

I was always going between the, Oh,

I'm doing strategy at the moment.

89

:

And then, Oh, I'm doing

energy alignment over here.

90

:

And I was running it as separate

programs and with separate clients.

91

:

And for me, the difficult thing

about pivoting was that it was very

92

:

much about me running the agency

was a bit like being working for

93

:

a company where you're behind the.

94

:

The company brand

95

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah.

96

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

was when you're a coach, very, you're,

97

:

you're, well I felt very exposed and

I felt very, it was very personal, um,

98

:

and I found that really hard and I had

to do a lot of, huge amount of healing

99

:

work, so I did a lot of shadow work,

this is where the human design came

100

:

in as well of, Understanding myself,

understanding where I needed healing, um,

101

:

clearing traumas and working with energy.

102

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah.

103

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753: So

that two year process was the beginning

104

:

of a, another, you know, major chapter.

105

:

So I'm sure people can probably

relate to that as well.

106

:

You know, you, you start with one

thing and that opens up another

107

:

door and then you go through that

door and that opens up another door.

108

:

So I hope that makes sense.

109

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

Yeah, absolutely.

110

:

Going through that.

111

:

Did that lay the foundation for the

way you work with your clients now?

112

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Oh, absolutely.

113

:

Yes.

114

:

Yeah.

115

:

I couldn't, I mean, you can't coach

somebody to go through something.

116

:

I don't think if you haven't been through

something, you know, similar yourself,

117

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah.

118

:

Yeah.

119

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

with the, with the shadow work, I

120

:

think for to do shadow work, you have

to have been through that yourself and

121

:

experience the, the emotions and the

release and, and finding out where the

122

:

blocks are and if you've got any trauma

and How that's connected to the mind body

123

:

spirit, how that shows through in your

marketing and in your business results.

124

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah.

125

:

Um, a question on trauma.

126

:

This is just my experience, my

observation, and I just wanted to check

127

:

in with you that, um, In my experience

at the moment, there are a lot of people

128

:

who I speak with who don't recognise

that what's blocking them is trauma.

129

:

They don't put themselves in,

you know, they don't think that

130

:

they've experienced trauma.

131

:

Because trauma, if you talk about it

generally, we tend to relate it to

132

:

big events rather than significant

events, if that makes sense.

133

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Yeah, and I think as well trauma is

134

:

one of those things that People think

it has to be something very extreme

135

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Mm,

136

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

when actually trauma can be something.

137

:

I'm no, I'm not an expert in this at

all, but just from my own experience,

138

:

trauma can be something that happened

in childhood that looking back as

139

:

an adult wasn't a big deal at all.

140

:

But as a child, the emotional intelligence

to cope with whatever the situation was,

141

:

it can um, seem like a really big issue.

142

:

And When something's triggered us in

any way, it gets stored in the body.

143

:

And yeah, that becomes

a block later in life.

144

:

And it's only if you're willing to do

the work and really face up to yourself

145

:

and look at the things that are holding

you back in your business that you find.

146

:

I know when you talk about, for me, trauma

goes very much with the word victim.

147

:

And I always really resisted.

148

:

Any thought that I was a victim in

any area of my life, I really pushed

149

:

against that for a long time until

I realized that actually in certain

150

:

aspects of my life, particularly back

then, it was around money stories.

151

:

I was being a victim in

certain parts of my business.

152

:

I just didn't want to acknowledge it.

153

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: yeah.

154

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753: when

I was willing and able and ready to really

155

:

face that part of myself and be honest

about it with myself that I could heal it.

156

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah, yeah,

I think that is really key because you

157

:

can hear in exactly what you said, the

story, what story are you telling yourself

158

:

that is supporting your limitations,

and that's usually where there's some

159

:

trauma or something to heal, isn't it?

160

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

I mean, everybody's got something.

161

:

We've all, everybody has some

things to clear and everyone

162

:

needs healing at a certain level.

163

:

You know, it's a spiral that just,

can either let it take you up

164

:

or you can let it take you down.

165

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

Mm, absolutely.

166

:

Mm.

167

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

work and human design, which is about

168

:

deconditioning, very much about choosing

to spiral up instead of spiraling

169

:

down because we can naturally, as

humans, we have a negative bias

170

:

within us and we have to consciously

choose to not get spiraled down.

171

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: So how

do you work with someone on that?

172

:

Um, just as an example, not, you

know, you don't have to go into

173

:

great depths because I'm sure there's

a lot, a lot involved in that.

174

:

But what's your approach?

175

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

on the situation but I'm, I'm very

176

:

intuitive and this is again something

I didn't allow myself to sort of

177

:

own for a long time in my business.

178

:

for me it's, through a series of questions

that I'll ask clients and through the

179

:

language that people use I their energy

and I can easily spot where the blocks

180

:

are and what's holding them back through

the language that they're using and it's

181

:

usually clear to me through people's

marketing too I can look at people's

182

:

content on social media and it's again

it's very apparent to me where somebody's

183

:

blocked or what's What they're not

saying that they want to say, you know,

184

:

those sorts of, what do you call it?

185

:

Sort of reading between the lines.

186

:

So when I work with clients, I'm, say

I'm asking questions and then reading

187

:

their energy, listening to their language

patterns and doing the same when I

188

:

look at their, their social media.

189

:

And that's really, we take it from

there, depending on the situation

190

:

and the block and what it is that

they're trying to do in their business.

191

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: So taking

it into that aligned offer, that

192

:

aligned attraction marketing, um,

193

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753: Mm.

194

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: obviously

you're working with the blocks.

195

:

What else do you work with and where

does human design come into that?

196

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

So, Human design is a tool.

197

:

And again, I struggled with this

because I don't want to be defined

198

:

as a human design Although I do

know a lot about human design, I've

199

:

been using it for about five years.

200

:

But for me, it's a tool, the

energetics is, is a more powerful

201

:

tool, but human design gives you

a roadmap to really understand how

202

:

you're programmed energetically.

203

:

And I've been doing recently is

really looking at the different types

204

:

marketing and what goes into your

personal brand, like your messaging,

205

:

what makes you magnetic to clients,

and looking at what part of your

206

:

human design chart relates to that and

reflects those parts of your brand.

207

:

of ourselves.

208

:

so when I work with clients and we're

working with human design, we'll have a

209

:

look at their chart and have a look at

the different aspects of their chart and

210

:

how that affects their communication,

their content, their messaging, and

211

:

how they can use that to connect with

clients, attract clients, and then convert

212

:

clients into higher paying clients.

213

:

So there's a lot, it's multi multifaceted,

it's, It's just a fantastic tool for

214

:

giving those initial insights, but

the real, um, value in human design

215

:

is when you give yourself permission

to really be who you are and to

216

:

really own and embody your own energy,

and that's the part that's hard.

217

:

Reading the charts is the easy bit.

218

:

the, it's the embodiment.

219

:

And that, that can take a long time.

220

:

It's not something that you just

click your fingers and it's done.

221

:

they say deconditioning takes seven

years, but obviously in terms of market it

222

:

doesn't take that long, but it's really,

it really depends how willing and open and

223

:

ready someone is for that next level of

their ascension, if you like, spiritually.

224

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah, yeah.

225

:

Um, from my own personal journey, I

think you already touched on it, that

226

:

sometimes it's, it's the willingness

to see the shadows, it's willingness

227

:

to see that you're not showing up, that

you are, that you're not showing up.

228

:

Supporting your own limitations,

that you are playing the

229

:

victim card in certain areas.

230

:

And that, that can be, um, also

the part that we resist most.

231

:

Um, is that what you find?

232

:

Yeah.

233

:

Yeah.

234

:

Yes.

235

:

Yeah.

236

:

Yes.

237

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Oh yes, but this.

238

:

Oh yes, but you don't know the situation.

239

:

Oh yes, but this.

240

:

And it's really interesting.

241

:

And you're right, the more that someone's

arguing for their limitations, the more

242

:

it's like, okay, that's, that's where

you need to focus and heal and clear

243

:

whatever it is that's, that's there.

244

:

But.

245

:

It's to me, it's, it's really interesting.

246

:

It's a, um, you know, this

personal development journey

247

:

and energetics and human design.

248

:

It's intellectually.

249

:

I'm just, I find it so stimulating because

it's, it's so interesting and it's just

250

:

fascinating the psychology and what

drives people and transformations that

251

:

people can have from one suggestion or one

word can completely transform somebody.

252

:

it's, it's like magic.

253

:

So for me, it's just really, um, you

know, seeing clients having those

254

:

massive transformations, but what it is,

is that, that what seems like a small

255

:

thing, maybe on a, during a session is

actually a key that's unlocking, you

256

:

know, a whole chain of things underneath.

257

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah,

258

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

then that, that allows people to

259

:

really go and fly in their business.

260

:

And suddenly people that didn't

want, I had a client who was,

261

:

didn't want to do live streaming.

262

:

She was really uncomfortable on

camera and she, she argued for

263

:

her limitations and gave all the

reasons why it wasn't for her.

264

:

And I know she, I remember she came on one

of my live streaming challenges and she

265

:

was sort of the most, It was really, and I

just thought, okay, it's just not for her.

266

:

You know, that's fine.

267

:

She can her business a different way.

268

:

Um, and then it was, she joined my

Align marketing program about five years

269

:

ago where we, it was the first time

I taught human design with marketing.

270

:

um, it was just one conversation

and it was like, you could see her

271

:

whole physical appearance shift.

272

:

It was, I mean, it was amazing.

273

:

I've got it on video somewhere.

274

:

you know, realized that actually what

she was arguing against was, was her

275

:

strongest, um, strength, if you like.

276

:

And from there, she, she's, never know,

I'm not going to mention any names,

277

:

but she's someone that's really totally

natural on camera and totally in her

278

:

zone and has just gone to amazing,

amazing heights in her business.

279

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: wonderful.

280

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

that's just an example of how

281

:

human design and energetics can,

you know, help completely sort of

282

:

turn somebody's whole life around.

283

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: So, for

someone who's unfamiliar with human

284

:

design, now I know it's a big topic, is

there a way you can summarize what it is?

285

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

So human design is a mixture of or

286

:

combination of astrology, I Ching, the

chakra system the energetics in your body.

287

:

So it gives you a chart based on your

date and time and place of birth.

288

:

And it's a little bit like, so it is

linked to astrology anyway, but it's a

289

:

little bit like having a fingerprint or a

roadmap of your own energetic blueprint.

290

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah.

291

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753: And

that's a starting point for understanding

292

:

yourself at a much deeper level.

293

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: And

when did you discover human design?

294

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Well, it was obviously more, I mean,

295

:

I said the first time I taught it

was five, about five years ago, so

296

:

probably five and a half years ago.

297

:

And, um, was working with a lady or I

knew a lady through networking locally

298

:

and she was offering readings looking

back I what she did actually wasn't a

299

:

human design reading it was something

else it wasn't human design it just

300

:

made me curious and I started looking at

human design and thinking wow you know

301

:

this is a great tool for understanding

um myself and being on that journey.

302

:

And it tied in with when I was coming

out of the spiritual closet and

303

:

learning about energetics and I became

a Certified Energetic Practitioner.

304

:

took two years.

305

:

So it was another piece of the puzzle

that just complemented the other

306

:

things that I was doing at the time.

307

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: So, an

energetic breakthrough practitioner.

308

:

Can you explain that a little bit more?

309

:

No, it's okay, that one I haven't

actually heard of, so that's interesting.

310

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753: So

energy breakthrough is a particular method

311

:

that's taught to, and the the base basis

of that, of, of, of it is energetics.

312

:

So it's it's wealth energetics,

it's personal energetics, and

313

:

it's really the study of the.

314

:

the non physical part of ourselves.

315

:

I very strongly believe

that we are spiritual beings

316

:

having a human experience.

317

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yep.

318

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

is that part of it, that unseen

319

:

part of us that's linked to source,

the universe, the quantum field,

320

:

whatever name you want to give it.

321

:

I don't like the word

God so I don't use God.

322

:

Um, but that, that unseen metaphysical

part of us, that bigger part of us.

323

:

if you buy into that philosophy, then

324

:

Energy Breakthrough is about working with

that higher part of ourselves to raise

325

:

consciousness and to raise vibration,

not in a rah rah way, but as I say, in

326

:

this way of spiraling up and up leveling.

327

:

And that.

328

:

Applies to all aspects of life,

including business, marketing,

329

:

manifestation, money, relationships,

health, and absolutely everything.

330

:

And the breakthrough method is, um,

a very intense training actually.

331

:

I had to do something like 36 case

studies with clients to get certified.

332

:

we looked at everything from masculine,

feminine energy, did a lot of shadow

333

:

work, inner child work, um, patterns.

334

:

Consciousness.

335

:

So all of those different aspects

that you would, I think, I'm,

336

:

I'm assuming that you and your

listeners know about energetics, but

337

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah,

338

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

people don't, maybe I'm assuming that

339

:

people don't, but does that, does that

340

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

yeah, yeah, absolutely.

341

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

where,

342

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

sounds very, very powerful.

343

:

Sounds good, good.

344

:

Um, you mentioned manifestation and

money and I, This is my assumption.

345

:

I know I'm doing a bit of a mind read,

but with, with the financial markets

346

:

and with inflation and with people

losing their jobs, I think it's,

347

:

it's probably a great concern at the

moment around wealth and money and

348

:

how is there anything anyone

can do that's even a small thing

349

:

that begins to shift there.

350

:

Their fear around money.

351

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Yeah.

352

:

And here's the thing, the moment you

say that you've got fear around money is

353

:

you're automatically sinking down into

those lower levels of consciousness.

354

:

And that will keep the money away.

355

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yep.

356

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

So the best thing that you can do is to

357

:

not focus on the lack of money, to not

focus on what's going on in the world,

358

:

to not, to not focus on, oh, there's

a cost of living crisis and inflation

359

:

and all of those external things is

to really go within and focus on what

360

:

it is that you want to create in your

life and Money's a part of that because

361

:

we're human and money's the currency

that, you know, we have in our world.

362

:

But by focusing on the lack of something,

you're just bringing more lack.

363

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yep.

364

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

And I know that's, it's, it's a hard

365

:

concept when somebody, and I know

because I've been there and actually

366

:

I'm in a transition period with

the house that I'm in, which has

367

:

triggered a lot of my money fears.

368

:

So I'm not saying it's

an easy thing to do.

369

:

The practice that can really help

people is rather than focusing on

370

:

what you don't have is to focus

on how you want things to be

371

:

and to focus on the potential.

372

:

And this is where energetics,

working with your higher self and the

373

:

quantum field, because the quantum

field is the field of possibility

374

:

and money can come very quickly.

375

:

And what I've discovered is that.

376

:

While I'm working really hard in

my business and I've got clients

377

:

coming in from different areas,

what's really surprised me is that

378

:

by doing the energetic work is that

money's coming from unexpected places.

379

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Right.

380

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

And working with energetics is

381

:

about allowing yourself to receive.

382

:

So it might be that you think,

okay, I'm going to launch a program.

383

:

I'm going to get 10 clients.

384

:

I'm going to charge 1, 500, you

know, so that's a 15k launch.

385

:

And you set yourself that goal

and you think, okay, that's where

386

:

the money is going to come in.

387

:

But actually, we can limit ourselves,

whereas if we work with the, with our

388

:

higher selves in the quantum and be

open to receive money from anywhere,

389

:

you might find that you get that or

more, but not in a way that you expect.

390

:

And it's about being open

to receive abundance.

391

:

And I've found that.

392

:

I've received recently a lot of gifts, so

not in itself, but gifts that are worth

393

:

a lot of money, if that makes sense.

394

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yep.

395

:

Yes.

396

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

things, things that I needed, it would

397

:

have been easy for me to go into a place

of how am I going to afford it, I've got

398

:

these things that I want that I don't

have the money for at the moment, and

399

:

actually those things have all manifested.

400

:

Every, every single one of

them has manifested recently,

401

:

I haven't paid for them.

402

:

They've come from different

unexpected people, unexpected places,

403

:

unexpected kindness and generosity,

and that's the power of energetics.

404

:

And it's, in a way, I'm,

I'm, what's the expression?

405

:

Delighted, but not surprised.

406

:

So I think for people listening that

if you are in a situation where money

407

:

feels tight or the things that you that

you don't feel you can afford is to take

408

:

a big step back out of that situation.

409

:

And if you can, I'm in my, I offer

a 333 daily energy activation, which

410

:

is what I use every single day to get

myself to connect with the quantum

411

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Right.

412

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

and to work with my higher self.

413

:

And that process is what brings in these

things that I've manifested, including

414

:

the house and, and these things recently.

415

:

Um, so yes, if anybody wants

that, it's a free, it's 333, it's

416

:

three minutes, three times a day.

417

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Right.

418

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

And it It activates your energy and

419

:

gets you in a place where you're in the

receptive mode and able to, um, receive.

420

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

Because one of the things, just

421

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Yeah,

422

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: you can

want something, but again, come at it

423

:

from you know, I must have it, I must

need it, which is the wrong thing to do.

424

:

energy.

425

:

It's, it's kind of wanting

something but being able to

426

:

let it go in a way, isn't it?

427

:

If that makes sense.

428

:

So it's,

429

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

something so much you hold it,

430

:

it's like you squeeze it so tightly

because you want it and you, and

431

:

The mistake that people make is they

want, they expect it in a certain way.

432

:

So they think, okay, this has got to

come through clients in my business, this

433

:

money or this thing that I really want,

and they hold it really, really tightly.

434

:

And that just pinches off the

energy that stops it coming.

435

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: yeah, yeah.

436

:

And, and also,

437

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

sorry, go

438

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

go, no, go on.

439

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

I was just going to say that the

440

:

important thing here, and this is

something I've learned that I've really.

441

:

has made a massive difference to me

is it's not so much the thing that

442

:

you want, whether it's money or a

physical thing, it's the feeling

443

:

that that thing's going to give you.

444

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

Yeah, the essence kind of thing.

445

:

Yeah.

446

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

say for example, um,

447

:

well, I'll give you a really good example.

448

:

I started playing the piano again after

a 30 year hiatus and I really wanted

449

:

a Piano, but I was living in a really

tiny house at the time had this got

450

:

myself, this is for first time manifested

this little electronic keyboard.

451

:

And then when I found my

dream home, guess what?

452

:

Had a piano and they said,

Oh, we don't want the piano.

453

:

Do you, you know, do you want it?

454

:

So I ended up with this

beautiful old piano.

455

:

So I manifested the keyboard

first and then the piano, but

456

:

actually it wasn't about the piano.

457

:

It was about how I feel

when I play the piano.

458

:

And it was about me putting myself

first and saying I love playing.

459

:

Why have I stopped doing something that

I, that brings me so much pleasure?

460

:

it's because I moved abroad and I

got married and I had kids and I had

461

:

a career and I put all these other

things first and put myself first.

462

:

back burner.

463

:

Of course, when the kids left home,

and I thought, right, no, it's

464

:

time for me, what, what do I really

enjoy in life that I'm not doing?

465

:

And I took up yoga, and the

piano was one of those things.

466

:

So manifesting the keyboard and

the piano wasn't about the keyboard

467

:

and the piano, it was about me.

468

:

It was about self love, I suppose, and me

putting myself first and thinking, what

469

:

do I really love and enjoy and want to do?

470

:

Do in my spare time and it

brings me so much happiness.

471

:

I play every day, and I'm doing

exams actually, and it just brings

472

:

me so much joy and happiness.

473

:

So if I wanted another piano now, I

would focus on that joy and happiness

474

:

that playing the piano brings me, rather

than the object of the piano itself.

475

:

So if you can take that concept,

you can apply that to anything.

476

:

So you want a certain amount of money,

why do you want that amount of money?

477

:

Is that, are you trying to

get out of survival mode?

478

:

it because you want your kids

to have more of something?

479

:

it that you really feel a bit stuck

in your life and you want to travel

480

:

and there's a fantastic retreat

in Mexico if only you had 10, 000?

481

:

And tapping into that feeling of

what's that thing going to give you?

482

:

How are you going to feel

when you have that thing?

483

:

And then here's the secret,

it's to find that feeling in

484

:

things that you already have.

485

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Hmm.

486

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

for me, again, using the piano

487

:

example, yes, You know, playing

the piano gives me so much joy.

488

:

And again, it's

intellectually stimulating.

489

:

I'm one of these people, I like

to challenge myself all the

490

:

time, otherwise I get bored.

491

:

I'm doing the exams because

I'm pushing myself to improve

492

:

and get better and better.

493

:

But so where else in my life

can I find that feeling of doing

494

:

something I really love and enjoy

and where I'm stretching myself?

495

:

Well, within my business.

496

:

Learning something new, learning new ways

to apply human design to marketing, new

497

:

ways to teach that, new ways to bring

clients in and support them with that.

498

:

So, again, for someone that's in a, in

a situation where they're worried about

499

:

money or they want things they don't

have, it's to find what's that feeling

500

:

behind it you're really trying to get to.

501

:

And then, Where can you find that today?

502

:

Like right now, listening to this podcast,

what's, where can you find that thing?

503

:

So I can guarantee you have

that feeling in your life.

504

:

You just don't, you're not seeing

it and you're not connecting

505

:

it to that thing that you want.

506

:

So I hope that's helpful.

507

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah,

that's really, really powerful.

508

:

And just an extension, because I

know I've seen this on social media

509

:

recently, this kind of a for and against

doing what you love as a business.

510

:

And I think what, what, what that is in

effect is either doing the bro stuff,

511

:

which is not necessarily what you love,

but you think it's going to get you money,

512

:

or really aligning and Doing what you

love and even if what you're doing, maybe

513

:

you're working for someone now and you're

not enjoying it, but to actually make

514

:

the choice that you are going to enjoy it

can actually attract in more of what you

515

:

really want and opportunities to move.

516

:

So yeah, I think that's quite, because

I've just, you know, I've been observing

517

:

the different discussions around that

and, um, You know, recognizing that you're

518

:

doing what you love, but it is still a

business as well, if that makes sense as

519

:

well, because sometimes it's quite easy

to do a hobby and it kind of, you treat

520

:

it like a hobby rather than a business.

521

:

What are your thoughts on, on that?

522

:

Yeah.

523

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

interesting, isn't it?

524

:

I've, I've seen both sides.

525

:

I'm, I'm a big proponent of the do what

you love and the money will come, but

526

:

I've, I have seen the discussion where.

527

:

People say, you know,

your business isn't you.

528

:

You've got to separate the two

things and energetically your

529

:

business is a separate entity to you.

530

:

And the plus side of that is that

traumas and blocks don't have to

531

:

affect your business if you treat

your business as a separate entity.

532

:

But I, I, yeah, I mean, at the

end of the day, I definitely think

533

:

you've got to enjoy what you do

because otherwise, otherwise.

534

:

would you spend your time doing

something that you don't enjoy,

535

:

that doesn't light you up?

536

:

And here, going into the human design,

if you are a sacral, so if you're a

537

:

manifesting generator with the sacral

authority, which means that, that

538

:

you're, that's your sort of decision

making motivation, it's really important

539

:

that you are lit up and excited and

energized about what you're doing,

540

:

because otherwise it just drains you and

that comes through in your marketing as

541

:

you're just see this a lot with people

on social media, people that are just

542

:

going through the motions and following

other people's strategies and they're

543

:

ticking the boxes and, okay, I've done

my one post today and now I'm going to

544

:

send, do a couple of comments and send

some messages, tick, tick, but they're

545

:

not really, there's no, the energy is not

great behind it and you can sense that.

546

:

So yeah, I think I'm definitely

in the do what you love camp.

547

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: I

think that takes us into AI as well,

548

:

where, you know, people are more,

549

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

thinking

550

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: yeah,

more people are using AI posts, and

551

:

as you say, there's no heart, there's

no energy in that, and that, for those

552

:

that are afraid that AI will take over,

I think that is the big difference.

553

:

difference, if you're willing to

put yourself in your posts and

554

:

take the time to show who you are

and put your energy behind it,

555

:

that's going to differentiate you.

556

:

And also understand, as you say,

the energy of your clients and,

557

:

and what you can solve that AI

might not even be able to identify

558

:

because it's at an energetic level.

559

:

Yeah, yeah.

560

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

and you need a robot to write for you?

561

:

What does that say about where you're

coming from and why you're in business?

562

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Absolutely.

563

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

most of us heart centered entrepreneurs,

564

:

vempreneurs, we're in business because we

want to make a difference, we want to make

565

:

an impact, we want to change the world.

566

:

Most of the people in my world very

heart centered and coming from a place

567

:

of genuinely wanting to serve people.

568

:

that has to come from the heart.

569

:

And I can't, for me, AI, I love AI.

570

:

I think it's a brilliant tool.

571

:

And I use it for lots of different things.

572

:

But if you're going to speak from

the heart, and that's how you

573

:

connect with clients, you can't

do that with an AI written post.

574

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: I,

I do have to say my experience in

575

:

helping heart-centered entrepreneurs,

especially spiritual entrepreneurs

576

:

who don't like to write, they would

rather use something like AI purely

577

:

because, um, they don't like to write.

578

:

And that's, that's been kind

of not a struggle, but, uh.

579

:

You know, getting, persuading them

to see the value in putting their

580

:

voice and writing it themselves.

581

:

And even if they use AI as an audio

tool, so they speak it and then

582

:

transcribe it, that that's coming from

them is much better than, um, getting

583

:

someone else to do it or using AI.

584

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

But if you don't like to write, then why

585

:

are you not doing videos or podcasts?

586

:

Because if you don't, people that

don't like to write, they tend to

587

:

be either like to speak or, you

know, there's lots of different

588

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yes.

589

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

can do social media.

590

:

You don't have to write.

591

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah.

592

:

Yeah.

593

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

So I would just say, do,

594

:

do what feels right to you.

595

:

And I used to have clients coming to

me saying, Oh, should I be blogging?

596

:

And I said, well, do you like blogging?

597

:

No, I hate it.

598

:

Well, don't do it then.

599

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah,

it wasn't so much blogging as

600

:

emails and, you know, short posts

around launches and stuff, so, yeah.

601

:

You know, to help to

602

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753: So.

603

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

accompany the video even, so.

604

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Yeah, do it in a way that you.

605

:

And I think that's the thing.

606

:

The minute someone says you should

be doing this, it kills your

607

:

energy and it kills your vibe.

608

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: yeah.

609

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

And it puts you in that place of

610

:

slightly treading on eggshells

of, Oh my gosh, I've got to do

611

:

something I really don't want to do.

612

:

And it just stifles people's creativity.

613

:

And that's why it's so important, I

think, to really tune into your highest

614

:

and work with your higher self because

your higher self will always guide you.

615

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah.

616

:

Yeah.

617

:

Yeah,

618

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

to do what comes up.

619

:

You know, you have to be prepared to

work with your higher self and a lot

620

:

of people will, they might be able to

tune in and get the guidance and that's

621

:

a, you know, that's a practice like

anything else, but they don't always

622

:

trust themselves to follow the guidance.

623

:

And I find actually a lot of the

clients I coach sort of fall into that

624

:

bracket where do the 3 3 3 process,

they're getting guided and then

625

:

thinking, Oh, well, I'm not sure if

that's, you know, if that's right.

626

:

it's sort of, so it's being bold

as well and trusting yourself.

627

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: that

trust and taking action on that trust.

628

:

Um.

629

:

Because sometimes your guide, yeah,

sometimes your guiding is, guidance

630

:

feels like it's way left field.

631

:

Like,

632

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Well, I mean, the fully booked Femme

633

:

Preneur Festival that I ran back

in March, that came from guidance.

634

:

And it's not something, if you'd asked

me a couple of weeks before whether I'd

635

:

run a, an online virtual summit with

all those hundreds of women, I would

636

:

have said, Oh no, that's not my thing.

637

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: you were, it,

638

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

guided to do it.

639

:

I had to do it.

640

:

And I did it.

641

:

And it was a huge success.

642

:

I'm thinking, well, thank

goodness I follow, you know, thank

643

:

goodness I bold enough to do it.

644

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: yeah, no,

it was amazing and how, how you managed

645

:

to organise everything so quickly

as well was really quite magical.

646

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Because, because I was being guided.

647

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: Yeah, yeah,

648

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

to, if I tried to do it from my

649

:

logical human brain, it would have

been a massive amount of work.

650

:

I probably would have

ended up resenting it.

651

:

It would have, I would have

been messed around by people.

652

:

You know, none of that happened.

653

:

It was so, it was like a

hot knife through butter.

654

:

It was so easy and so fun.

655

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: yeah, yeah,

656

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

of working in alignment and try, you

657

:

know, as I say, working with your

higher self and being guided and

658

:

It's just doing what you feel, what

you're guided to do and trusting

659

:

that that's, that's the right thing.

660

:

Which I know is, it's easy to

say and it's, it's, I've been

661

:

doing this work for years.

662

:

It's not like I just started

yesterday and now I've got it all

663

:

figured out and it's still a work

in progress, but would definitely

664

:

encourage anyone that's listening

to this to that part of themselves.

665

:

And, um, I've got a free meditation

as well if anyone's interested called

666

:

Meet Your Inner Marketing Team.

667

:

And this is where you work

with your higher self, but also

668

:

certain guides that help you with

certain parts of your marketing.

669

:

So it's almost like having a, a

board of directors, but they're

670

:

all personalized for you and all,

all working with your higher self.

671

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: that's

brilliant, I think I could do with that.

672

:

Um, I'll get

673

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

link.

674

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754: I was

going to say, if you send me the

675

:

link to that and the 333, I can put

them in the show notes for anyone.

676

:

Um, it's been amazing chatting.

677

:

I could go on.

678

:

Um, we have covered a lot.

679

:

Is, is there anything that's coming up

for you that you'd like to, to share?

680

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

I don't think so.

681

:

I think we've covered so much, but I would

just say to people, please trust yourself.

682

:

Please feel strong enough in yourself

to know your own worth and value.

683

:

And as I say, work with

your higher self and

684

:

take the bold action because life's

amazing when you allow it to be.

685

:

But we just, we, we're Good at boxing

ourselves in and making ourselves and

686

:

actually just blow those walls away and

step out and be yourself and enjoy life

687

:

and enjoy business and have fun with it.

688

:

And my mantra is, my closing

comments are, you know, marketing

689

:

gets to be fun and easy.

690

:

So thank you so much, Heather.

691

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

You're welcome and thank you.

692

:

It's been really, really, um, good.

693

:

I've learnt a lot.

694

:

So it's been really good talking to you

and thank you for sharing everything.

695

:

squadcaster-05if_2_08-07-2024_100753:

Oh, thank you for having me.

696

:

heather_2_08-07-2024_100754:

Thank you and speak soon.

697

:

Bye.
