In this episode, we take a look at “Ladies,” the third track from Introducing Sparks. Lyrically, it’s classic Ron Mael—witty, quirky, and unmistakably Sparks. Musically, however, the panel finds it a bit underwhelming. With its pop-friendly structure and polished production, “Ladies” feels like it’s playing it a little too safe.
