Let's dive in to Revelation Chapter 6 & 7. God bless you

Welcome back to another

episode of I Can't, He Can.

and we are going to pick up

today right where we left off

in the Book of Revelation.

We are in chapter six, but we will also

be doing a brief review of chapter seven.

They are both pretty short chapters.

very to the point, even though, even

though, in my opinion, the things that are

8

written in these verses are just as John

explained It's the vision that Jesus gave

9

him that we learned about, in chapter one.

these things are, in fact, very real.

11

If it's written in the word,

then will come to fruition.

We don't know the day, the hour,

the time, but the time will come.

So it's important that we try to

understand as many things as possible.

I will preface with the reminder

that not all things are for us.

15

Remember that I've said

that we are Gentiles.

we are not Jewish.

There's nothing wrong with being

Jewish, but for example, I'm not Jewish.

I'm considered a Gentile.

That is what Jesus is referring to,

anyone that is outside of the Jewish

20

faith that comes into, believing the

Gospel, per se, So, like my pastor

says, we divide the word correctly,

But of course, there are

always things that we can take

23

that are, in fact, for us.

So when we are reading chapter six

and chapter seven, even though it's

25

a vision that was given to John by

Jesus Christ, we can apply it to how

26

we are going to act moving forward,

how we're going to treat other people.

this is not a book, of warnings

and us to be afraid about anything.

We went over all the churches

were walking, uh, lukewarm,

29

uh, for lack of a better word.

30

So it is a reminder to us

that we need to wake up.

31

We need to be vigilant overall.

and I really hope that that

is coming through in the past

chapters that we have discussed.

So before we start reading through

chapter six and chapter seven,

And it says

chapter six Verse one: Now I saw when the

Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard

one of the four living creatures saying

with a voice like thunder, "Come and see."

Verse two: And I looked,

and behold, a white horse.

He who sat on it had a bow; and

a crown was given to him, and he

went out conquering and to conquer.

Verse three: When He opened the

second seal, I heard the second living

creature saying, "Come and see."

Verse four: Another horse,

fiery red, went out.

And it was granted to the one who sat

on it to take peace from the earth, and

that people should kill one another; and

there was given to him a great sword.

When he opened the third seal, I heard the

third living creature say, "Come and see."

So I looked, and behold, a black

horse, and he who sat on it had

quart of wheat for a denarius, and

three quarts of barley for a denarius.

So I looked, and behold, a pale horse,

and the name of him who sat on it was

Death, and Hades followed with him.

sword, with hunger, with death,

and by the beasts of the earth.

under the altar the souls of those

who had been slain for the word of God

and for the testimony which they held.

I looked when he opened the sixth seal,

earth as a fig tree drops its late figs

Then the sky receded as a scroll when

it is rolled up, and every mountain

men, the rich men, the commanders,

and from the wrath of the Lamb.

So now we're going to read through

chapter 7, which is also relatively short.

Chapter seven Verse one.

After these things I saw four angels

standing at the four corners of the

earth, holding the four winds of the

earth, that the wind should not blow

on the earth, on the sea, or any tree.

Then I saw another angel

ascending from the east, having

the seal of the living God.

And he cried with a loud voice to

the four angels, to whom it was

granted to harm the earth and the sea.

Saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea,

or the trees till we have sealed the

servants of our God on their foreheads."

And I heard the number of those who

were sealed, one hundred and forty-four

thousand of all the tribes of the

children of Israel were sealed.

Of the tribe of Judah,

twelve thousand were sealed.

Of the tribe of Gad, twelve

Of the tribe of Naphtali,

"Salvation belongs to our God, who

sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

All the angels stood around the throne

and the elders and the four living

creatures, and fell on their faces

before the throne and worshiped God.

Saying, "Amen.

Blessing and glory and wisdom,

thanksgiving and honor and power and

might be to our God forever and ever.

Amen."

Verse thirteen.

Then one of the elders answered, saying

to me, "Who are these arrayed in white

robes, and where did they come from?"

Verse 14: And I said to

him, "Sir, you know."

So he said to me, "These are the ones

who came out of the great tribulation

and washed their robes and made them

white in the blood of the Lamb."

Verse 15: Therefore, they are

before the throne of God and serve

Him day and night in His temple.

And he who sits on the

throne will dwell among them.

Verse 16: They shall neither

hunger anymore nor thirst anymore.

The sun shall not strike

them nor any heat.

Verse 17: For the Lamb who is in the

midst of the throne will shepherd

them and lead them to living

fountains of waters, and God will

wipe away every tear from their eyes.

And that's it.

That wraps up chapter seven of the Book

of Revelation You know, now as I was

reading, it's funny that sometimes I

read things by myself, I take notes.

But then as I'm reading here, there

are little things that still stand out

to me, it's just so marvelous and so

incredible how the word just manages to

160

speak to you at the most random moments.

Things that you can just glean

over and skip and not really

not really ingest but right now there's

two things that I read in chapter seven

and I was just like how did I not see that

the first time around but anyway I digress

from that So let's go ahead and recap.

chapter five briefly so that we refresh

our memories, and even for myself,

because it's been at least two weeks

since I thought of what happened before.

So in chapter five, we read and discussed

that Jesus was the only one that could

168

look, touch, and open the scroll.

Now, the scroll contains the seals, which

is what chapter six is talking about now.

And I thought of this For a while,

and I wasn't sure how to refer to

171

seals in a way that a lot of people,

could translate or understand easily.

this is going to be done

in levels, if you will.

So the seals will unleash a

different level of these times,

that will be experienced.

I feel like that's the

simplest can put it.

the Book of Revelation is just

something that you have to read so

that you can understand it in your

own way, and I'm sure that different

versions have different words things.

Again, this is a New King James

Version, so whatever you may have

read in the past or are reading

may sound slightly different.

but for me, my brain and the way that

I process things, I saw every seal as

182

a different level, or a different thing

that was going to happen every time

that Jesus opens one of these seals.

Now, to begin with, the first seal I

have noted on here, it's the conqueror.

That is what my Bible names it, and

that is verse one through verse two.

Now, I have here in verse one and

two that John sees Jesus open a seal,

and one of the four creatures in a

thunderous voice says, "Come and see."

And one of the questions that

I wrote, "What are seals?"

And that's why I thought to myself,

well, these are like different levels

190

because every time that one seal

is broken, something else happens,

191

something else comes from the seal.

and then in verse two, you can see that

the conqueror, which is what my Bible

193

is naming this, it is a white horse,

and Jesus sat on it with a bow, and

194

on it He went to conquer, and that's

why it's called the conqueror seal.

So this is what I have noted for seal

one, which is verses one and two.

Now, in verse three through, I believe-

Yeah, three and four, we have the

second seal, which is conflict on Earth.

And I have here noted in verse

four that it is specifically a seal

that unleashes a fiery red horse.

The conflict on Earth seal, it would

be granted to take peace from Earth.

And I noted here with little bullet points

that it had a great sword, so meaning

the fiery red horse, it had a great

sword, and people would kill one another.

So let's read verse four again

just for clarification, and always

because you have to fact-check.

left here on Earth at this time, this

is going to take that from Earth.

honest, with some things and the

way that it's written, because I

take everything very literally.

and of course, if things are written

in the word, it is what it is.

Like, this is-- Like, how

people say, "This is Bible"?

I know this is, like, a very, like,

Gen Z term, but it's the truth.

Whatever is in here, it is what it is.

It's a fact.

so the fact that it says, "And

that people should kill one

another," we see that already.

So imagine how much more.

In these times when all hell breaks

loose, every time a seal opens, just

imagine how much more death there will be.

And if I take a step back, and side

note here, I can understand why some

people have a hard time, thinking about

Christianity and how God could allow

certain things and whatnot, and these

are the questions that they may have.

But if you understand that God is a god

of order, and God gives free will, and He

233

is love, and He gives you everything that

you desire, all you have to do is just

234

Love Him back.

Love Him back and, and

know that He is God.

and everything that you have,

everything that you are, everything

that you've done is because of Him.

and live as best as possible, as, as

upright and as righteously as possible.

I think those are just basic

things that God would want from us.

but if you don't, then really

your life is gonna be in shambles.

So anyway, I really digress now.

I'm gonna go back, to what I

was talking about, All right.

The third seal, which is verses five

through six, I have my notes on here,

that the third seal is scarcity on Earth.

Now, when something is scarce, that means

that there is not a lot of anything.

So scarcity on Earth, that just means

that there's not gonna be anything.

people are gonna go hungry.

People are gonna die.

There's gonna be a famine.

it's just, again, every time the

seal opens, it's a different level of

wrath, of destruction, of some sort

of, horrible thing that's happening.

If I recall correctly, before the

interruption of the ice cream truck

being there for like thirty minutes, we

were talking about the fourth seal, and

the fourth seal comes as a pale horse

with d- the word death, sitting on it.

so not only was it saying that

this is Death, the pale horse, but

it also had Hades following it.

So just pause for a second and

think of that picture, of what

that could possibly look like.

And just imagine if you are that person

looking at that, which God willing none

of us are, if you are a person looking

at that, how would you feel knowing

that this is what you're looking at?

Death coming on to you or towards

you and hell, Hades, Sheol,

just any death, destruction is

following it right behind it

Pretty intense if you ask me.

So let's finish that verse.

"And power was given to them over

a fourth of the earth, to kill with

sword, with hunger, and with death,

and by the beasts of the earth."

So not only is death following this

horse, but power was given to this force,

this new level of the seal, what the

seal unleashed, a fourth of the earth.

How many billions of

people are there, right?

Hopefully, you know, everyone who is

saved is caught up, and we are in, in

heaven with Jesus and with God by now.

But whoever is left on the earth, imagine

how many millions of people that is.

One-fourth of the earth is going to be

killed with sword, with hunger, th- by

354

that famine, probably by that third seal

adding on top of the fourth seal, the

scarcity on earth, and with death just

… Probably just dropping dead, just dying.

and here's the kicker, my gosh,

"And by the beasts of the earth."

So we could only, imagine what this may be

just think of these animals that

are just going to go literally

wild and start killing people.

that's just horrible.

but that's, that's what it is going to be.

'Cause if it's in here, it's what it is.

It's what's going to happen.

So moving on to the fifth seal.

The fifth seal here in my Bible

says that this is the cry of the

martyrs, and my note here for the

fifth seal comes from verse nine.

It says, "The souls of those martyred

for God's word were under the altar."

So verse nine, let's read.

"When he opened the fifth seal,"

again, he being Jesus, "I saw under

the altar the souls of those who had

been slain for the word of God and

for the testimony which they held.

saying, 'How long, O Lord, holy and

So not only is there going to be famines

on earth, widespread death on earth, but

there's also going to be more martyrs,

and more people who are hopefully

going to endure until the very end.

Now, the fifth seal, as it says

here, it's the cry of the martyrs.

There were already so many people

that are just waiting, waiting to

be released from that captivity.

And it's funny because today, in service

We were talking about, Ephesians chapter

4, and there was a part where David and

I were talking after service, and it came

up that there's gonna be a point where all

386

the people who are waiting in Abraham's

bosom or in Sheol, not that they're going

387

to hell, but because there was no Jesus

at the time where they passed, and they

388

were killed for preaching the gospel

and for talking about Jesus and, and

389

what he stands for, for all of us, they

are being held in a particular place.

and that could be what

Catholics call purgatory.

So I believe, from what I'm understanding,

these are the martyrs that are crying out.

At this moment, they are asking, "How

long, O Lord, holy and true, until

393

You judge and avenge," meaning Jesus,

"until You, Jesus, judge and avenge our

394

blood on those who dwell on the earth?"

So they're waiting.

They're waiting for that day of

judgment to finally be set free and also

finally go into the true Promised Land.

And, and it says here at the very

end of, I believe it is verse 11…

Yes, at the very end of verse 11, it

says here, "Until both the number of

their fellow servants and their brethren

who will," excuse me, "who would be

killed as they were, was completed."

So there are going to be more.

People are being killed right now

in the world for their Christianity,

for their belief in Jesus Christ.

the seals start being opened,

are caught up sooner rather than later,

but I don't wanna be here for this.

imagine how much worse it's

going to happen in this time.

So the sixth seal.

The sixth seal is cosmic disturbances,

is how my Bible names it.

ways that it is, spelled out for people.

So nonetheless, the point is that during

the sixth seal, there are going to be

cosmic disturbances, so things from the

sky, cosmic, anything that is above, and

one of them is going to be that, uh, verse

13, that stars begin to fall to the earth.

And then verse 14

specifies the sky recedes.

And then it also says, "Mountains

and islands move out of place."

So to put it all together, let's

read again verse 12 through 14

I looked when he opened the sixth seal.

So John is looking when

Jesus opens the sixth seal.

And behold, there was a great earthquake.

So the moment that sixth seal is

opened, boom, a massive earthquake.

everywhere at the same time.

And we've seen recently how many

earthquakes there have been.

from, you know, this other country,

and you don't feel anything.

earthquake all over the earth.

Everyone has to see, and hear,

and know that he is the one

that is going to come back.

So anyway, that's why I am getting

that, and I'm trying to make a point.

Anyway, so, "And the sun became black

as sackcloth of hair, and the moon

became like blood," verse 13, "And

the stars of heaven fell to the earth

as a fig tree drops its late figs

when it is shaken by a mighty wind."

Verse 14, this is the part of the sky.

"Then the sky receded as a scroll when

it is rolled up, and every mountain and

its island was moved out of its place."

Now, verse 15 and 17, I had notes

on here, and I put verse 15, "All of

the earth's people hide, everyone,

rich, poor, free, et cetera."

So it says verse 15

And the kings of the earth, the great

men, the rich men, the commanders,

the mighty men, every slave and every

free man hid themselves in the caves

and in the rocks of the mountains.

We know and we hear nowadays, especially

me, I'm very into podcasts and staying

up to, some politics stuff, not

everything, but I hear things about

people with money, the billionaires

of the world, preparing and leaving

all the little people behind, right?

So this reminds me of that in today's

day, where all these great rich men, all

the kings of the earth, and they're kings

of the earth not because they are kings,

but because they believe they are 'cause

they have all the money in the world.

But even these men, the ones who think

that they're different and better than

everyone, even these men, along with every

slave and every free man, hid themselves.

They will hide.

They're not gonna have anywhere to go.

It doesn't matter what they build for

themselves, where they veer off to

that they think they're not gonna be

found, they will be found, and they're

going to attempt to hide themselves.

So verse 16, "And said to the mountains

and rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us

from the face of Him," God, "who

sits on the throne, and from the

wrath of the Lamb," Jesus Christ.

Verse 17, "For the great day of His wrath

has come, and who is able to stand?"

So again, they are not gonna

be able to do anything.

They're not gonna be able to hide, and

they will in fact ask and say, "Fall

on us, hide us from the face of God.

Hide us from His wrath."

They're not gonna be able to escape.

And now let's jump to

chapter seven and our recap.

So this one here, I actually did,

a little summary just because

there was a lot of information.

It talked about the 144,000

Israelites, that would be also

brought up, but would see the time

of the seals, uh, being opened.

So I actually noted verse one

through eight and verse nine

through 17 in a small summary.

So I'm going to read that, and then

I'll go back maybe to a little, uh,

one or two notes that I have in here.

So my notes for verse one through

verse eight are, "Four angels

stand on the corners of the earth."

My understanding is that they

are there to destroy and kill all

things on earth and in the sea.

So literally everything.

However, another angel cries out to

not harm anything until the one hundred

and forty-four thousand servants of

God are sealed on their forehead.

They are all Israelites.

So they are actually Jews.

To my understanding, my perception,

what I got from this, these are the one

hundred and forty-four thousand servants

that are Jewish, not Gentiles, that

will not be harmed because this angel

is saying, "Hold on, destroy everything

else," but the hundred and forty-four

thousand Jews that actually did endure,

that did hold on, that did stay true.

These are those one

hundred and forty-four.

so that's verse one through verse eight.

That was my summary for that.

However, to be specific, if you read

verses five through verse eight of

chapter seven in the Book of Revelation,

these are the names of the tribes that

are going to be called up in that one

hundred and forty-four thousand people.

So then in my summary for verse

nine through 17, I put here that a

multitude of people stood before the

throne, meaning the throne of God.

They worshiped God and the Lamb, Jesus.

Then there was one elder that

asked who that multitude was, who

those people in the multitude were.

And then John responds to him

by saying that, "You know."

Like, "You know who they are."

And then that elder explains they

were from the great tribulation.

So in verse 16 through 17,

it explains their amazing

reward for what they endured.

Now, let's go back really fast

and specify that because I just…

I wanna point out what it was

that the elder was saying So

this is verse nine through 17.

So verse nine says, "After these

things I looked, and behold, a great

multitude which no one could number,"

so like I said, like, a multitude

could be anything, thousands, millions.

We can't even begin to imagine.

"Which no one could number, of all

nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues,

standing before the throne and before

the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with

palm branches in their hands," verse

10, "and crying out with a loud voice,

saying, 'Salvation belongs to our God,

who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.'"

So if you go back, if, maybe if

you've seen The Chosen, hopefully

you've read this part in the Bible,

where Jesus comes, comes back on the

donkey, and then everyone is holding

the palms in, like the branches of

palm in their hands and they're,

they're crying out, "Hosanna, hosanna."

So I have, like, that image in my head

where this is similar, not quite exact.

But they are saying that salvation

is of God and of the Lamb.

but the people, if you notice, are

dressed in white robes, and there's

millions, and, and an unimaginable

number of people before the throne,

and they are all finally agreeing and

saying, "Salvation belongs to our God

who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

And then here comes the part where, the

elders start talking and asking questions.

So verse 11, "All the angels stood around

the throne, and the elders and the four

608

living creatures, and fell on their faces

before the throne and worshiped God."

So what they were saying, the angels

and the creatures were saying, "Amen.

610

Blessing and glory and wisdom,

thanksgiving and honor and power and

611

might be to our God forever and ever.

612

Amen."

Verse 13 says, "Then one of the elders

answered, saying to me," so he's saying

to John, "Who are these arrayed in white

robes, and where did they come from?"

So who were these people lined up in

white robes, and where did they come from?

And then John says, verse 14, "And

I said to him, 'Sir, you know.'"

Think of how much gumption and how

much, like, certainty he must have had

in his heart in the middle of this, uh,

not dream, but this vision that he was

given, where he even had the courage and,

again, the gumption, just like the…

The certainty that he had to respond

to this elder and say, "Sir, you know."

So he continues and he says, "So he

said to me," meaning the elder, " 'These

are the ones who came out of the great

tribulation and washed their robes and

made them white in the blood of the Lamb.'

So these are the people that came

from the great tribulation, and they

625

were washed from, from the blood of

the Lamb, they were washed in white.

And these are, again, the

unmeasurable amount of people

that are in front of the throne.

And just to be specific, there's that

word again, the multitude, a great

multitude which no one could number

And I want to say, don't assume

that this is the Israelites because

it's very specific, very clear.

The word is very clear.

One hundred and forty-four thousand

Israelites, Jews, are going to be sent

up eventually here after the sixth seal.

They're going to be sent up to finally

be gathered to Jesus and to God.

However, from the great tribulation,

there is a great multitude

which no one could number.

So they're separate.

It's not one and the same.

And I just realized that

because for a second I was

like, the, those are the Jews."

No, those are not the Jews.

Those are not the Israelites from the

tribe of Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher,

Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi,

Issachar, Zebulon, Joseph, Benjamin.

These are not them.

These are people that were caught

from the great tribulation that are

now in white robes and were washed

because of the blood of the lamb.

hunger anymore nor thirst anymore, but the

to me, that one sounds good too.

So anyway, that was just

like a little silly point.

As I was reading, I was like, my gosh."

So verse 17: "For the Lamb who is

in the midst of the throne will

shepherd them and lead them to living

fountains of waters, and God will

wipe away every tear from their eyes."

So going back to a more serious

to, like, make fun of anything.

It's just how it spoke to me in a moment.

But this is talking about actually the

multitude, the unmeasurable amount of

people that are in front of the throne

at this moment, clothed in white.

Verse 16 and 17 are basically

talking about their reward, and that

was the note that I wrote on here.

I put, "The reward of those

in the great tribulation."

So not only will they be clothed in

white, they will be in the presence of

God and Jesus, they'll be in heaven,

but they will not be hungry anymore.

They will not thirst anymore.

The sun is not going

to strike them anymore.

These are all, like, tangible,

physical things that they're

not gonna struggle with anymore.

But even further, in verse 17, it's also

saying on a more spiritual level that

the Lamb, Jesus, who is in the midst

of the throne, who is among the throne,

will shepherd them, will take them,

and will give them, and will relieve

them of all of these things by leading

them to living fountains of waters.

Again, you can take everything very

literal here, but if you just pause

and just imagine what living fountains

of waters could possibly be and mean,

you're never gonna be thirsty again.

It's something that even if you

touch it, if you feel it, if you

intake it, if you look at it, it's a

living, and it's going to be endless.

It's just-- It's gonna give you life.

It's going to quench every single

need that you have, not just

physical, but also spiritual.

And that-- There's so much depth to

these things, that when you really

analyze those things, it's just kind of

like, where can you find that on Earth?

Like, think about it.

What can possibly give you that

effect that they're talking

about here in verse seventeen?

Nothing.

There is nothing.

Only Jesus.

So, the last part, "And God will wipe

away every tear from their eyes."

So not only is he going to give them

the physical rest that they need, the

spiritual rest that they need, but

also that pain, that anguish, that,

that trouble that they had, that

long-suffering, every tear that was cried

will be wiped away and will be no more, so

It's a beautiful thing.

Can't wait till we finally get to

experience all of these things.

So what can we take away from all of this?

First of all, if you're not saved,

if you're not sure you're not

saved, it's time that you start

asking, "Am I actually saved?"

The second thing is just slow down.

Slow down and stop

trying to do everything.

Stop trying to do the most, honestly.

Like, this was a big lesson for me.

I needed to just stop trying to do

everything above and beyond, and

really focus on what's important.

First of all, what's important?

Your salvation.

That is the most important thing,

because nothing of this world is

736

going to give you what you need.

So what's really gonna matter is not the

things of the world, but where you're

going to be in eternity . All right?

So stop, slow down, focus

on what's important.

Your relationship with God is

important because it's going to

determine where you are in the future.

So don't get caught up in this

craziness, in this crazy vision

that John left for us through Jesus.

Do not.

Do not get caught up in that.

And this isn't to be afraid,

this is to be prepared.

So the lesson, are you really saved?

Ask yourself

Are you slowing down and

focusing on what's important?

And are you prepared?

If you're not, it's okay.

It's not too late right now.

Eventually, it will be too late,

so don't get caught in that mess.

Now, we are done with chapter

six and chapter seven.

This was a lot, but it was

informative, and it was very important.

And honestly, it was a big

wake-up call, even for me.

Like, I got to analyze, like,

okay, I have slowed down.

I am focusing on what's important.

I'm a little smidge closer to

where Jesus wants me to be.

And that's a good thing.

I'm on the right track.

So if you know anyone who may not be on

the right track, who may be veering off,

give them that loving reminder

that like, "Hey, I love you,

so I need you to hear me.

Focus on what's important.

These things right now that you're

doing here on Earth are not important.

Care about yourself, and care about

yourself enough to want to be in

a place that's actually going to

bring you peace, and love, and

light, and all things glorious."
