Joining Dee this week is John Hope Bryant, an entrepreneur, author, philanthropist, and prominent thought leader on financial inclusion, economic empowerment, and financial dignity. John advocates for economic empowerment through his nonprofit, Operation HOPE and is the founder of The Promise Homes Company, one of the largest minority-controlled owners of single-family residential rental property in the country. John shares how he learned about capitalism growing up in South Central LA, the importance of surrounding yourself with great talent, and what inspired him to create Operation HOPE.
