Shownotes

On July 4th, 1862, Jess McPherson became Glasgow's second Square Mile Murder victim. The story of her murder and the trial that followed rocked the city and the country and pitted Glasgow neighbours and newspapers against each other.

This week we talk all about Jess McPherson, the woman accused of her murder, Jessie McLachlan, and the old devil who most likely did the deed, Old Fleming. Listen in as we dig into the second of Glasgow's most infamous killings.
