Welcome back to The becoming the big knee podcast. I'm your host,

Djemilah Birnie and you are tuning into minute madness, a

little dose of epicness, delivered in five minutes or

where you are today, right now, in this very moment is an

Speaker:

accumulation of the choices that you have made from months back.

Speaker:

So where I am right now today is based on the choices that I made

Speaker:

six months ago, and I made a year ago, right? So when you go

Speaker:

throughout your day, that's why it's so important to have a

Speaker:

vision for your life. That's why it's so important to have these

Speaker:

year plant these year goals, these five year goals, these 10

Speaker:

year goals, what's that big vision that you're painting

Speaker:

towards? And what are those steps that you need to take

Speaker:

every single day to get there, right? Because

Speaker:

you need to think from that place when you have that vision

Speaker:

painted. Now you can go through it move throughout your day and

Speaker:

ask yourself is this choice in alignment with this big goal? Is

Speaker:

this going to get me closer to this bigger goal because it's so

Speaker:

easy to fall off, it's so easy to just make these little

Speaker:

choices that you don't realize in the moment how they

Speaker:

accumulate and how they add up to either move you closer or

Speaker:

move you farther away from that bigger goal, that big picture

Speaker:

goal. every choice is from the people that you choose to hang

Speaker:

out with the way that you decide to spend your time from the the

Speaker:

voices in your head that you allow to occupy space that you

Speaker:

allow to set up camp Are you you know, allowing those voices of

Speaker:

doubt or those voices of complacency to set up camp are

Speaker:

you allowing those voices forward momentum and a faith out

Speaker:

of belief in yourself and trust to set up that camp, right?

Speaker:

Because what whichever one you are choosing to allow is going

Speaker:

to affect what choices you make in your everyday life and these

Speaker:

little tiny choices from waking up. When you wake up in the

Speaker:

morning from expressing gratitude to exercising your

Speaker:

food. they accumulate they compound. And as time goes on,

Speaker:

you do want to get to a point where you are looking around and

Speaker:

you're not where you want to be.

Speaker:

And it's not from those big massive steps. Now those things

Speaker:

are important in the journey. But the most important is

Speaker:

actually all of those little tiny choices, those daily

Speaker:

choices those moment by moment choices that you're making. So

Speaker:

if you don't already have a vision for your life, if you

Speaker:

don't want to be have, you know, a 10 year plan or a five year

Speaker:

goal,

Speaker:

do it create it because now you when you have that you can now

Speaker:

move through your life. And ask yourself every time that you

Speaker:

come to a point to make choices this choice aligned with that

Speaker:

higher goal is this choice going to move me farther to farther

Speaker:

from or closer to that goal.
