Our prayer is that this listening space brings growth and transforms your life forever.

Speaker:

Praise God for you, Army Boy.

Speaker:

It is a great pleasure to connect with you.

Speaker:

What part of the world are you in today?

Speaker:

I'm in Eswatini.

Speaker:

Oh, it's a great pleasure to connect with you.

Speaker:

How did you come to meet Jesus, Army Boy?

Speaker:

It was a revival in my constituency.

Speaker:

Then I went there on that revival.

Speaker:

You know, on your times, we just enjoy to be out in the world just to seek for something that will make us happy, you know, those young ages.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

So, I went there to that revival, and I remember this lady who planted this tent, she was preaching the word.

Speaker:

No, that lady was preaching the word.

Speaker:

But I went there because there was a girl that I wanted to date for those times.

Speaker:

So, I went to that revival just to check on that girl after church.

Speaker:

Then I went there for the first day.

Speaker:

I went there for the second day.

Speaker:

Then on the third day, the word was preached.

Speaker:

Then it touches my soul.

Speaker:

It touches my heart.

Speaker:

Then I don't know what happened, Mr. Angel, but I found myself in the altar with my hands up accepting Jesus Christ because the word for that day, it just connects and it just touches me.

Speaker:

Then from that day after I repented, no, I never, never, never go back anymore.

Speaker:

Yeah, I was 20 years old.

Speaker:

That was 1996.

Speaker:

What happened to the girl?

Speaker:

The girl, she was a churchgoer because she was very gifted on singing.

Speaker:

So, even on that tent, they were using this girl on their praise team, but she was not saved.

Speaker:

Why am I saying this?

Speaker:

It's just because we were dating.

Speaker:

After I met Jesus, I realized that by that time, the girl was not saved, but she was working inside the house of the Lord.

Speaker:

But fortunately enough, Mr. Angel, after some years, she repented completely and she was saved and God gave her a favor because now she's married, but she's married to someone else, not me.

Speaker:

Because me, after I accepted Jesus, I just left everything hanging.

Speaker:

Did you ever get married?

Speaker:

Yes, I'm married now.

Speaker:

Oh, I'm married for 18 years.

Speaker:

How did you meet this woman that you decided to marry?

Speaker:

Oh, no.

Speaker:

It's a long story, but short.

Speaker:

Because you know, in this gospel, there are many churches, like different genders.

Speaker:

There's this Zion churches.

Speaker:

How can I call it?

Speaker:

But you know, there are Zion churches.

Speaker:

I do not know, please.

Speaker:

You don't know, yeah, because you are not in Africa.

Speaker:

But it's another church which is not preaching the very same gospel that we are preaching, although they are saved.

Speaker:

How can I put it?

Speaker:

It's a church, but with a different structure, a completely different structure of worshiping God.

Speaker:

Maybe I can put it that way.

Speaker:

So there was a night vigil in another home where they've lost one of their sons.

Speaker:

I attended that night vigil.

Speaker:

You know what a night vigil is?

Speaker:

Yes, we would call it a week or like a memorial.

Speaker:

It's the night of mourning before the funeral.

Speaker:

Exactly, Mr. Angel, something like that.

Speaker:

So there was this night vigil.

Speaker:

Then I went there to preach.

Speaker:

When I'm there, here comes this lady.

Speaker:

And this lady was, because their gowns, they're wearing on this church, they're wearing white, brilliant white gowns.

Speaker:

So they came there dressed in their white.

Speaker:

When they got there, they sang a song because they were a choir.

Speaker:

So they sang a song.

Speaker:

She was leading that song.

Speaker:

So when I was busy looking at her while she was ministering, then something dropped on my mind that I can build a good relationship with this woman.

Speaker:

I feel like I love her.

Speaker:

Amazing.

Speaker:

That was the start of everything.

Speaker:

Amazing.

Speaker:

So you accepted Christ, you gave him everything, you turned away from the woman who was not at the time fully saved.

Speaker:

And 12 years later, you're presented with a gift for a while.

Speaker:

Yes, sir.

Speaker:

Yes, sir.

Speaker:

Amazing how God works, isn't it?

Speaker:

It was very amazing.

Speaker:

Have you had any children?

Speaker:

Yes, we've got three.

Speaker:

We've got three.

Speaker:

What type of ministry did you take to when you immediately became a Christian?

Speaker:

I loved playing keyboard very much, even before I accepted Christ.

Speaker:

I remember very well, I was playing a keyboard in one of the groups that are not believers.

Speaker:

You know, those songs, those were songs.

Speaker:

I was playing a keyboard there, a piano.

Speaker:

Then after I accepted Christ, it was easy for me to just transgrade from my old time things to where I am now.

Speaker:

So when I get to church, it was easy for me to be placed on that bench section.

Speaker:

Then I started to play keyboard there until, until, until, until.

Speaker:

Five years from today, what's a message you'd leave for future Army boys?

Speaker:

We have to be very, very, very aware, or we have to be very careful of these evil desires.

Speaker:

Because evil desires, when the devil comes to you, he just shows you these desires.

Speaker:

When he painted, he painted very clean and very beautiful in a way that you can feel like, oh, if I can just, I can just address this desire.

Speaker:

Whereas once you just grab it, then it will automatically, it will give birth to sin.

Speaker:

And the Bible says it's only sin that will give birth to death.

Speaker:

So once you desire, then you automatically, you are going to sin.

Speaker:

Once you sin, automatically you are going to the grave.

Speaker:

So my message for everyone in the world is to be very, is to be very aware of how, how, how desires comes to your life, because you may never know all those desires if, if they are from God or if they are from the devil.

Speaker:

That's what I can say, Mr. Angel.

Speaker:

Hey, this has been a great pleasure, my friend.

Speaker:

I appreciate you passing by to have a conversation.

Speaker:

Thank you so much.

Speaker:

It's a pleasure.

Speaker:

I treasure.

Speaker:

Thank you for being on What Is Inspired by 12 Minute Converse.
