Hey, we're living in a world where AI is helping us optimize our work.
Speaker:Save time, maybe make some more money and all this stuff.
Speaker:But who's here talking about optimizing our bodies using a, a
Speaker:thing that's not so publicly known, but you might have heard about it.
Speaker:So this thing we're talking about are peptides.
Speaker:So my friend, really good friend, Joy Houston, I actually.
Speaker:Ran into her at a conference right after I dislocated my pinky doing jiujitsu.
Speaker:I was training for a tournament like literally days before
Speaker:dislocated this thing.
Speaker:It was nasty.
Speaker:I won't show the x-ray unless you wanna hit me up.
Speaker:I'll glad to share it with you.
Speaker:But I've been using peptides ever since seeing her because she was like, you.
Speaker:BPC 1 57 like stat.
Speaker:So she, she gave me the info, hooked it up, and we, uh, went on
Speaker:my way and I've been using it since.
Speaker:So, joy is gonna break down what peptides are in her playbook.
Speaker:She's literally giving you a, a free guide, which I'm gonna give to you.
Speaker:There's no opt-in, no nothing.
Speaker:She made it just for this episode.
Speaker:And for you, it's gonna break down what these things are like,
Speaker:what are the other peptides?
Speaker:What are real world stacks or like formulas that people are using.
Speaker:What are the the costs associated?
Speaker:What are common mistakes and why has this thing been kind of hush hush and been in
Speaker:this biohacking community and subculture, and why hasn't it been brought to light?
Speaker:That's what we're doing here on this episode with Joy.
Speaker:It's awesome.
Speaker:We could have gone for a lot longer.
Speaker:Before you get in, I highly urge you to get the resource that her and her
Speaker:awesome husband Travis put together.
Speaker:The website is get My peptides.com, get my peptides.com.
Speaker:There's no opt-in.
Speaker:It literally is just gonna redirect to a Google Doc that has all the
Speaker:resources we're talking about.
Speaker:So as you're listening or watching along, just make sure
Speaker:you go to get my peptides.com.
Speaker:First, and you'll be able to follow along a lot better and
Speaker:know what Joy's talking about.
Speaker:'cause she's gonna give you a lot of information.
Speaker:It's awesome.
Speaker:That's gonna help you out.
Speaker:So enjoy the episode.
Speaker:Please let her or me know how it goes.
Speaker:And, um, if you have any questions, we're here and available.
Speaker:All right, see you later.
Speaker:And by the way, we are not doctors.
Speaker:This is not medical advice.
Speaker:Do your own research.
Speaker:We say it about like a million times in the episode.
Speaker:Remember that this is just first world experience that we wanna put out there,
Speaker:so hopefully it helps you or someone else.
Speaker:All right, peace.
Speaker:Enjoy.
Speaker:Joy, we are doing this.
Speaker:How are you doing today, my friend?
Speaker:I'm doing awesome.
Speaker:I'm so happy to be here with you.
Speaker:Send my love to Heather.
Speaker:Oh yeah, for sure.
Speaker:Back to, uh, Travis as well.
Speaker:Uh, we've been talking about this for a long time, having you on the show
Speaker:and, um, I think we're gonna, well we're gonna do a two-parter and so this
Speaker:is the first of another one to come.
Speaker:And I'm happy that we're doing this one first 'cause it's like been
Speaker:super timely with what we've been talking about and what you're doing
Speaker:and me with an injury, which we'll talk about what that all means.
Speaker:But, um.
Speaker:Where do we, yeah, we're, we're gonna talk about stuff that's like, what?
Speaker:It's the conversations that are not what, not really happening, but they,
Speaker:maybe they're behind the scenes, but we just wanna bring 'em to the forefront.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:And
Speaker:I think what happened between us was pretty, you know, I
Speaker:mean that was synergistic.
Speaker:Um, we, uh, we, so you guys are all in the loop?
Speaker:We were both at Perry Belcher's event recently and, um, love Joe.
Speaker:He's been a family friend of my husband and i's for a while.
Speaker:He and his wife Heather are amazing.
Speaker:You guys already know that.
Speaker:But he rolled up with a fat injury Juujitsu,
Speaker:That's right.
Speaker:Yes.
Speaker:It was a dislocated, uh, pinky, and it was
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Nasty,
Speaker:nasty and um, and I looked, took what?
Speaker:Look at that.
Speaker:And I was like, are you at least doing some BPC 1 57 injections in that bro?
Speaker:Because like you just heard it and like, now's the time and he
Speaker:And I was like, what is that?
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Tell me more.
Speaker:So,
Speaker:And I kind of think that's indicative of what's happening.
Speaker:Like a lot of people who are in the marketing space, in the entrepreneurial
Speaker:space, the AI space, like a lot of us are also just sort of these
Speaker:driven type of personalities driven.
Speaker:That's not a plug for Perry's Mastermind, by the way, but,
Speaker:but good people over there.
Speaker:Good people, right?
Speaker:Emma Perry, we love you.
Speaker:Um, so, uh, I think a lot of this really driven community.
Speaker:We driven to serve our audiences and to make money.
Speaker:In being that driven, one of the things we all have in common is that most
Speaker:of us are looking to really stay very progressive, like about our health.
Speaker:Really, really stay at the bleeding edge of what's possible.
Speaker:So I don't know about you, but I know in the masterminds that I'm in, in the
Speaker:private groups that I am in, um, in the entrepreneurial space, a lot of us
Speaker:have, the majority of the conversation in our masterminds is business.
Speaker:Of course, let's make money.
Speaker:Let's serve our audiences.
Speaker:But there's always been this sort of undercurrent of what can we do to keep
Speaker:our bodies strong, our relationships strong, you know, all, all these things
Speaker:that like make us stay on our A game.
Speaker:And a lot of that conversation over the past couple of years, honestly, uh, maybe
Speaker:five years in our community was peptides.
Speaker:I feel like first it was like stem cells.
Speaker:Everybody's like, let's do stem cells.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:And then I think the conversation has shifted a lot towards peptides.
Speaker:And it's a gray area, right?
Speaker:Because you know, big pharma, FDA, like they don't really know what to do with it.
Speaker:Because if you don't know what peptides are, like they're amino acid chains and
Speaker:our body make these amino acid chains.
Speaker:So it kind of falls into that weird category of like.
Speaker:Well, we can't slap a trademark on it.
Speaker:So big pharma can make big money and it's a little difficult to
Speaker:regulate because, you know, we make these things for god's sake.
Speaker:Insulin is a peptide and we use that like crazy, right?
Speaker:So, so it's just kind of hovered in this really gray area.
Speaker:Um, and I find that there's been two lanes, like two very distinct lanes.
Speaker:There's like the education lane.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:There's like, we will talk to you about what we're doing with peptides
Speaker:and how we're using peptides.
Speaker:There are, um, several, um, education courses, like online education courses.
Speaker:I've taken some, um, and I've even taken one that is meant to certify
Speaker:practitioners who wanna do it.
Speaker:Not because I am a practitioner, I'm the CEO of Heal at scale.
Speaker:And so my entire audience is health entrepreneurs, right?
Speaker:So these are think clinicians that don't wanna work at Kaiser Hospital or clinic.
Speaker:These are truly health entrepreneurs.
Speaker:They wanna serve people at scale with things like group programs, private label
Speaker:supplements, writing their own books.
Speaker:They wanna take their knowledge and scale.
Speaker:And so obviously those kind of health entrepreneurs are not your.
Speaker:Basic doctor, right?
Speaker:They're already entrepreneurial.
Speaker:They're already wanting to be on the bleeding edge, first of holistic
Speaker:medicine and then functional medicine.
Speaker:And then Tony Robbins book brought around the term precision medicine,
Speaker:whatever you call it, right?
Speaker:But those type of people like to stay at this super, super bleeding edge.
Speaker:And because of that, I've been given access to, you know, courses and
Speaker:certifications on that and just.
Speaker:As a personal passion.
Speaker:I geek out on it and I love to know it, but there's that lane, there's like, you
Speaker:can learn about it and then there's a completely separate lane, maybe even two
Speaker:lanes I think we should talk about, and that's like, how do I get my hands on?
Speaker:The peptides in order to use them.
Speaker:And even that lane kind of has two, it has like, you can get the peptides in
Speaker:one lane, but you can't get the, uh, syringes and the bacteria static water
Speaker:that you hydrate the peptides with.
Speaker:So if you guys don't know, peptides come as a powder.
Speaker:They come in little vials and um, and then you reconstitute them by adding bacterial
Speaker:static water if you're gonna inject it.
Speaker:And bacterial static saline, if you're gonna like use it as a nasal spray.
Speaker:But oddly enough, because it's so gray, you can either sell the
Speaker:powdered peptides or you can sell the bacterial static and the injectables,
Speaker:but you cannot cross the streams.
Speaker:It's like in Ghostbusters, right?
Speaker:Ah, don't cross the stream.
Speaker:it's true.
Speaker:You can't do it.
Speaker:All right,
Speaker:Yes.
Speaker:I, I wanna, I wanna break it down like exactly like, so, because
Speaker:what I've found when I bring up that I've been using peptides to.
Speaker:Help my injury.
Speaker:So I've literally, and I'll set the scene is, yeah, so it was, I don't know, four
Speaker:weeks or maybe five weeks at this point.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Crazy.
Speaker:Basically, juujitsu injury, this thing popped out of, its so, it was
Speaker:Yeah, you guys, they look gross.
Speaker:It
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:I don't, I don't know if I'll
Speaker:afraid for him.
Speaker:Yeah, I'm not gonna show the x-ray on screen.
Speaker:I kind of want to, but I'll probably freak out half the audience or more.
Speaker:So, um, but the point is it's fine.
Speaker:Oh, it's not fine.
Speaker:It's still a little crooked, but it's feeling better.
Speaker:And, um, I've been using, yeah, so found Joy, uh, knew you'd be there,
Speaker:but then told you what happened, and then literally you had BPC 1 5 7, and.
Speaker:That's one of the peptides along with another one I'm using, but I've been
Speaker:injecting it basically, it's pretty close as possible to the site there.
Speaker:And we are not doctors, like we said, none of this is doctor advice, not
Speaker:medical advice, do run research.
Speaker:Um, but it's, I've seen a noticeable difference and obviously I don't
Speaker:have anything to compare it to.
Speaker:I've never done this kind of injury before, but it's wowed me like there's
Speaker:still a little achiness in there, but, um.
Speaker:It's, that's, I mean, to be like three weeks I think is what it took.
Speaker:I was like, holy crap, I can like move fairly well.
Speaker:Um, and, but I've, I've heard
Speaker:you saw a difference.
Speaker:You felt a difference yourself?
Speaker:Well, that's kind of how we got into this world.
Speaker:Like because of serving health entrepreneur audience, like, you
Speaker:know, they were kind of in the ether.
Speaker:They were kind of out there like stem cells.
Speaker:But we decided, do you guys, do you remember back when Travis and I
Speaker:went on this, this bender of like, well, can we be digital nomad?
Speaker:You know, like, and.
Speaker:Me and, and Ma and Maverick really wanted to go to Thailand, so we're like,
Speaker:screw it, we're just gonna, you know, we can work anywhere 'cause we're online.
Speaker:Let's go to Thailand for three months, you know?
Speaker:So we rented this mansion in Thailand.
Speaker:It was gorgeous.
Speaker:We had a great time.
Speaker:People cycled through visiting us, but like two weeks before
Speaker:we were set to head home.
Speaker:And if you're, I won't, I won't throw Travis under the bus for how old he is,
Speaker:but if you're in your late forties, then you may have heard many of your friends
Speaker:who have some sort of injury where like they're playing pickleball or they're
Speaker:just running, or they're doing something they normally do, and all of a sudden they
Speaker:hear an extreme pop in their ankle and it feels like they got, you know, bit or
Speaker:stung or you know, hacked with a needle.
Speaker:He had torn his Achilles.
Speaker:He ha he had torn his Achilles and were in Thailand on Koi,
Speaker:so not even on the mainland.
Speaker:So we're like on this little island, like the middle of nowhere.
Speaker:It was this whole huge thing, right?
Speaker:So he had to go to the ER and then they had to ambulance him
Speaker:on a ferry back to the mainland where there was an MRI machine.
Speaker:It was this whole messed up thing.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:Anyways, like we get him in a cast, we come home, we confirm
Speaker:here with surgeons in the states.
Speaker:Yeah, it, that's exactly what happened.
Speaker:They nailed it.
Speaker:Exactly right.
Speaker:The research is exactly right.
Speaker:What they gave us, and if you don't know, basically if you
Speaker:tear your Achilles, they're like, it's 50 50 if you do the surgery.
Speaker:If you don't do the surgery, the healing time is the same.
Speaker:The recovery of injury, you know, or the recurrence is rate is the same.
Speaker:So they basically said, look, dude, unless you had some, you know, college
Speaker:football scholarship, there's really no reason for us to do this surgery on you.
Speaker:You have to wear a boot.
Speaker:And so he was wearing a boot.
Speaker:And you know Travis, he's not like lazy.
Speaker:He's very competitive.
Speaker:He's very move, move, move.
Speaker:It fricking pissed him off to be in this boot for a long time
Speaker:and he hit like a plateau where it wasn't getting any better.
Speaker:We're three, we're six months in the boot.
Speaker:It's just not moving the needle.
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:And so we leaned into our community and they were like, yep, peptides, let's go.
Speaker:Um, it gave us a b, p, C regimen to to, to get on.
Speaker:You know, at first, back then it felt like kind of black market.
Speaker:'cause you would like pay on one app and order on another app, and then it comes
Speaker:in a white envelope with no, it looks like you're ordering drugs or something else.
Speaker:Really scary, right?
Speaker:Really scary.
Speaker:Um, now it's much easier because it's, it is much more mainstream.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:You can pay with your credit card and stuff like that.
Speaker:You don't have to Venmo.
Speaker:So.
Speaker:Um, so every night while we were trying to heal before he had tried peptides,
Speaker:if we were watching TV or reading, I would take one of those jade like wasaw
Speaker:tools that women use on their face and try to get the scar tissue down.
Speaker:'cause
Speaker:Like basically scrape it, right?
Speaker:Yeah, like try to get it down and so I knew what we were dealing with because
Speaker:I was the one helping him out with it.
Speaker:It felt like that old school, big lead, chew bubblegum, used to chew
Speaker:back like in the eighties or nineties where your whole cheek was like that.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:It felt like a dried up wad of that in his thing.
Speaker:Not like to be gross or anything.
Speaker:And it wasn't moving much at all with the Guha tool before we did the BPC 1 57.
Speaker:And then afterwards, literally within a few weeks, I was like,
Speaker:I can't even find it anymore.
Speaker:Like it was smaller and smaller and smaller until one night I was like,
Speaker:babe, I can't even find the stupid thing I'm supposed to be like trying
Speaker:to help you massage out of your ankle.
Speaker:And that's when the light came on for us that we're like, oh.
Speaker:This fricking works.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:This really
Speaker:works.
Speaker:what did you like?
Speaker:Because, so that was an injection, obviously a BPC 1 57.
Speaker:And I wanna break down like, why that, because that comes up probably
Speaker:more often than, but uh, were you injecting like right next to it?
Speaker:Into it like,
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:So that's a good question.
Speaker:So for most peptides, you can just, um, inject into, add a post fat, right?
Speaker:So it's a subq injection.
Speaker:It's not.
Speaker:Im So for all of your, if your dudes are on the audience, any
Speaker:of you guys that are using.
Speaker:Um, like testosterone injections, for example.
Speaker:I know that's relatively common.
Speaker:Um, or at least in our entrepreneurial audience that's staying in the
Speaker:forefront.
Speaker:It's
Speaker:are probably like, whatcha talking about?
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:I mean, I feel like our, maybe the circle that we run in Joe is a little more health
Speaker:I think I, I
Speaker:everyone is picking up on this.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:So if you're doing a testosterone injection, for example, that's Im
Speaker:intramuscular and it's a bigger, fatter needle and it hurts more, quite honestly.
Speaker:Um, but this is a tiny little, like, it's an insulin syringe is what it is.
Speaker:So the needle is super, super tiny, right?
Speaker:It's super, super
Speaker:tiny and you're in.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:And you're injecting a tiny amount.
Speaker:I mean, for God's sake, Joe, I'm like, I'm not a doctor.
Speaker:I'm not nurse Joy from Pokemon or whatever.
Speaker:But we did it at Perry's event to help your hand like immediately
Speaker:remember?
Speaker:say.
Speaker:Yeah, no, it was, it was pretty funny.
Speaker:So it was like right after our friend, Deb Cole spoke on stage.
Speaker:And like, yeah, you had some BPC 1 5 7 you brought for me that day.
Speaker:'cause you're like, Joe's fucked up.
Speaker:It's hard for my language, but I was, I was like in a splint and you're
Speaker:like, I'm gonna bring the goods like the, the day before you said this.
Speaker:And then, um, yeah, I just like, I had a little crowd of people around
Speaker:to watch it 'cause they were super curious and you gave the injection
Speaker:right there in front of, you know, on the, one of the tables after
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:I'm
Speaker:And I'm, I've been
Speaker:You guys, I'm, I'm not a nurse, but, but honestly, he was like trying to do the ham
Speaker:that he would normally write with, so he was like, yeah, this is not gonna work.
Speaker:I'm not
Speaker:doing it myself.
Speaker:but but to your point though, it's been easy for me to inject
Speaker:it myself and No problem.
Speaker:I mean, I just, I, I think the hardest part is figuring out how
Speaker:to mix all this stuff together.
Speaker:Reconstitute, which
Speaker:Yeah,
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:Okay, so let me answer your question really quickly.
Speaker:So with BPC 1 57, the closer you can get to the injury site, the
Speaker:better effectiveness, at least we've had in our experience.
Speaker:Um, but if you were using it more generally or depending on what
Speaker:your stack is, most people are just injecting in their adipose fat,
Speaker:which is like any fat that you have.
Speaker:So typically like around your belly or around your.
Speaker:Thighs, even like the back of the arm or something.
Speaker:You need a little, you know, a little junk in the trunk, kind of.
Speaker:You need a little, yeah, you need a little fatty area.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:And then it's just subq, you're, you're intentionally not, you're not going for
Speaker:vein or anything challenging like that.
Speaker:You're just putting it in.
Speaker:Much like people who do insulin every day.
Speaker:It's kind of like that.
Speaker:Um, so yes, B PC 1 57 close to the injury site.
Speaker:Our other peptide stack.
Speaker:Nope.
Speaker:We just rotate through different fatty areas in the body.
Speaker:So just to circle back and make sure we're clear,
Speaker:Yeah, no, thank you.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:'cause I wanna, I wanna walk it even up a level again to say
Speaker:like, what are, what are peptides?
Speaker:Because like they come in different forms.
Speaker:Like you could buy peptides technically at Costco that have like collagen and
Speaker:you know, you mix in your smoothie or you know, there's people that say like, oh
Speaker:yeah, I put peptides on my face at night.
Speaker:You know, like one of my neighbors said that, and I'm like.
Speaker:These are different, but also, I don't know, like So how would you describe it?
Speaker:Because I'll just say when I bring this up to people, like they're just like,
Speaker:even if they're not in the entrepreneur crowd, like some of my neighbors,
Speaker:and they're just like, I need to sit down and just learn about peptides
Speaker:and like, what the hell you're doing.
Speaker:So
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:Well this would be a amazing place to say, first of all,
Speaker:Joe and I are not your doctors.
Speaker:We're not medical professionals.
Speaker:Like I swim in the pool of medical professionals because
Speaker:I'm the CEO of Heal at scale.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:Um, because I
Speaker:just finished a book.
Speaker:that helps.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:I just finished a book that helps health entrepreneurs get cash pay clients,
Speaker:people are willing to pay outta pocket.
Speaker:So like, this is my world, right?
Speaker:So I swim in that world.
Speaker:I'm not a doctor.
Speaker:Um, Joe asked me to do that.
Speaker:I was like, okay, but I'm legally off the hook, right?
Speaker:So like I had to go down massive rabbit holes.
Speaker:I'm talking about, well, some of y'all were watching Netflix sequences.
Speaker:Like I was just taking peptides course because I'm a dork.
Speaker:And I'm like, just curious about it because I had never, you know, we
Speaker:had tried everything with healing Travis's ankle and it wasn't working.
Speaker:And then when I saw what was happening with him.
Speaker:I had, I think that you and Heather knew this, but like for, I had a
Speaker:terrible case of sibo and because I was on like the superior diet, I thought,
Speaker:oh, I must have gotten SIBO because I ate too much out at a restaurant.
Speaker:I'm going to eat even cleaner.
Speaker:And I didn't realize that the type of SIBO I had.
Speaker:Was actually from fresh, raw vegetables, like it loved vegetable fiber.
Speaker:So I was inadvertently making my condition worse instead of better before
Speaker:I figured out what I was doing right.
Speaker:So I decided I would try it to sort of get over all the damage that I had done
Speaker:to my intestinal tract, my digestive system, and I got on my own stack.
Speaker:I got some help with that, and I got on my own stack and sure enough, those problems
Speaker:that had been lingering and I. Couldn't quite put in the rear view mirror.
Speaker:Like handled, just handled.
Speaker:Whereas I had tried everything like diets and my IgG powders and different
Speaker:probiotics, like all the things, right?
Speaker:All the things I could put in my mouth and try to solve the problem and
Speaker:had already tried and because it was dealing with a digestive system, but.
Speaker:Through the bloodstream, not through the digestive track itself.
Speaker:That's my hypothesis of wow, why I was probably able to put it in the
Speaker:rear view mirror like I was actually providing something that wasn't going
Speaker:through the digestive track, that was already not operating the ideal,
Speaker:optimal way that it should, you know?
Speaker:So I went ahead and Joe, I, I, I shared with you as we were coming on that Travis,
Speaker:uh, if you guys don't know Travis Houston, he's freaking marketing genius, AI guru.
Speaker:He is like, so, so smart.
Speaker:I'm lucky enough to be married to this gorgeous man, and he
Speaker:knew I was coming here today.
Speaker:So, um, he made, uh, a. Pretty URL for you guys.
Speaker:If you go to get my peptides.com, you could get all of the research that
Speaker:Travis and I compiled, so it lists all the courses that I take and a link in
Speaker:case you wanna take it, it lists, um, all the books that I really loved.
Speaker:Like there's a lot of 'em out there, but some of 'em are absolute crap and
Speaker:some of 'em are so good that you feel like, oh, you're going through your
Speaker:little med school kind of course.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:So we just compiled all of the information that we use, um, to
Speaker:gain our own information, to come up with our own pep stack, to then go
Speaker:to our provider and say, Hey, look, this is what we're looking at doing.
Speaker:What's the ups?
Speaker:What's the downs?
Speaker:And quite frankly, um, even our practitioners were like, okay, I know
Speaker:about this, but I don't know about that.
Speaker:So track yourself.
Speaker:So you'll also see in that document that I created, like a tracker so I
Speaker:could track when I reconstitute them.
Speaker:How much I'm using and what my symptoms were.
Speaker:And I don't want you or your audience have to recreate all of that.
Speaker:So we put it into one document for your audience so they can go
Speaker:get all of that@getmypeptides.com.
Speaker:Get my peptides.com.
Speaker:We'll put the link in the show notes and, and Jacob put it on the screen too.
Speaker:Um, this is like, I'm on here.
Speaker:I'm just looking at the document and you just gotta get it.
Speaker:Like, I don't know if you're gonna have an opt-in or not.
Speaker:Right now.
Speaker:You, you don't.
Speaker:If you do,
Speaker:No, it's just for you guys.
Speaker:It's
Speaker:It.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:So literally go there because I'm just looking, some of these
Speaker:I didn't know about, so I'm going to be definitely diving into a
Speaker:couple books and the resources.
Speaker:You have a GPT that I think Travis made.
Speaker:Yep.
Speaker:He took all of the favorites, like from the books and from the courses
Speaker:that I took, and he just put it all into a GPT so you can interact with it.
Speaker:So if you're like, okay, well my libido's falling off like, and I'm
Speaker:this year this old and this is what I've tried and this is what worked.
Speaker:You can just kind of have a conversation with it and.
Speaker:And guys, it's a GPT.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:So obviously it'll keep warning you.
Speaker:This is not medical information.
Speaker:You have to do your research, you have to talk with your doctor.
Speaker:You need to see what your, you know, where you're at with your health and where,
Speaker:where, if it's a good idea for you or not.
Speaker:We're, we're not advocating everyone do it.
Speaker:We're just admitting that there's a peptide conversation happening,
Speaker:sort of like underground.
Speaker:And I think it's time that we actually bring it above ground and start
Speaker:sharing information, sharing resources.
Speaker:Talking about who's paying and even overpaying for this, because I'm seeing
Speaker:some offers where it's like a hundred grand to get a simple blood test and then
Speaker:somebody to help you with your pep stick.
Speaker:And I'm like, are you fucking kidding me right now?
Speaker:Like, are you kidding me?
Speaker:Um, and so that the whole price thing is part of the reason I put that document
Speaker:together because I had friends who were buying it at other sources and we like.
Speaker:Won't name names.
Speaker:Um, but the stack that I am on now, between me and Travis's Stack,
Speaker:we, we could easily throw down 1200, $1,500 a month on peptides.
Speaker:And that was crazy.
Speaker:And so I started digging into, okay, how many labs in the
Speaker:world make these darn things?
Speaker:How many, right?
Speaker:Because as marketers like you, and I know, you know, you can
Speaker:market something, Tiffany.
Speaker:but yeah.
Speaker:Yeah, you can market something Tiffany's style and, and price it
Speaker:really high in that tennis bracelet.
Speaker:That's a hundred grand.
Speaker:Right?
Speaker:Or you can buy a tennis bracelet at Target.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:You're like, so, so because of our marketing experience, I was like, how
Speaker:much of this is marketing and how much of this is like medical grade differences?
Speaker:So in going into that rabbit hole was part of what had me put in that.
Speaker:Put that document together for my friends.
Speaker:I even gave you the early version of
Speaker:that, right?
Speaker:Because, yeah.
Speaker:'cause I was like, wait, people are like grossly overpaying
Speaker:for things and I was a snob.
Speaker:You know me, I'm like such a snob, food snob, quality snob that.
Speaker:And so I was like, I wanna see the certificates of
Speaker:authentic, of authenticity.
Speaker:And like some that I ordered, I would have the vial and the vial lot number, and
Speaker:the cert that they sent me didn't match.
Speaker:And I was like, okay, that's not a fit.
Speaker:'cause I don't want anyone who will send me a cert.
Speaker:That's not valid.
Speaker:And so it took a bit to find the right people where I felt like,
Speaker:okay, they're actually sending me.
Speaker:The certifications of authenticity, the pur purity, and the lot
Speaker:numbers match on the vial.
Speaker:Right?
Speaker:So you're like, okay, I found it took a while to find someone that
Speaker:I trust that was priced reasonably.
Speaker:Um, and that's who you'll see.
Speaker:I link to my source in in that document.
Speaker:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker:Your, your document again, you have like, it's way more than you even gave me.
Speaker:And then when you gave me all those, that information, it's before everything.
Speaker:It was just like through text messages, I was just like, holy moly, there's a
Speaker:whole world I did not understand or know.
Speaker:There's books, there's resources, there's this really cool like encyclopedia thing
Speaker:that maps out all of the peptides and.
Speaker:Exactly what they're used for, how to use it.
Speaker:When do you like, so this information, we have a, you now everyone listening
Speaker:and watching has access to, um, I'm just gonna call it out again.
Speaker:Get my peptides.com again.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:And it, and some of the sites, it's like you said, some of the
Speaker:sites are garbage and some of the sites are amazing and so helpful.
Speaker:And for me, the distinction between garbage and helpful was.
Speaker:Did it link to actual research?
Speaker:You know, like I, I want, I wanna see actual research.
Speaker:I don't wanna just be like, oh, you believe that's what happened?
Speaker:Right?
Speaker:So like, you'll see a link to that, um, pet pia.org, which I really love
Speaker:that one because when it comes time to reconstitute things, um, you, you need.
Speaker:You're not gonna remember it all.
Speaker:So like you kind of need help once you get your stack into the tracker.
Speaker:So if you use the tracker, when you go to that document, you guys,
Speaker:you'll see if you'll scroll down.
Speaker:Like one of the assets that I use is the tracker.
Speaker:Once you make your tracker and you have noted, oh, this is how much bacterial
Speaker:static water I add, this is when I reconstitute it, well then yeah, it's
Speaker:gonna become easier for you because you already know what you're doing.
Speaker:But when you're first figuring it out, I think it's helpful to have
Speaker:all of those assets in one place.
Speaker:for sure.
Speaker:Yes, the tracking is smart because, yeah, I, I've reconstitute, like I said, that
Speaker:was the, probably the most confusing part.
Speaker:But like, once you figure it out and it's easy, you just gotta
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:what the heck you're doing.
Speaker:Uh.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:Question.
Speaker:So you, you've mentioned stack many times your peptide stack.
Speaker:So what is that and how does someone figure out their stack?
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:Well, your stack is, first of all, your stack just means
Speaker:the peptides that you're on.
Speaker:That's all it means, right?
Speaker:So it's like, it's like an outfit, right?
Speaker:there you go.
Speaker:Um, and it, an outfit can be whatever you want, right?
Speaker:You wanna wear a dress, you wanna wear a top, and jeans and heels and a jacket.
Speaker:Like you can mix and match this, the, your stack based on
Speaker:what you're trying to achieve.
Speaker:Okay?
Speaker:So.
Speaker:There's a lot of guys who are on the Wolverine stack, which is BPC 1 5 7
Speaker:and TB 500 for like muscle getting, getting muscle mass on faster.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:They call it the Wolverine stack.
Speaker:Right?
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:There's like, you'll hear the Phoenix stack, which is like a popular woman,
Speaker:like everybody has their own stack, but how do you create your stack?
Speaker:You get, you get your health goals, like what's going on?
Speaker:So in Travis's case, there was an immediate, like in your case, there was
Speaker:an immediate thing that needed attention.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:But then there's also things that you can do for longevity.
Speaker:You know, like a lot of people are on BPC 1 57 and TB 500, and they're
Speaker:just doing that as a longevity play.
Speaker:A lot of women and men too, are incorporating GHK copper in their,
Speaker:um, peptide stack because they want the skin and the hair growth
Speaker:and the, you know what I mean?
Speaker:So.
Speaker:You wanna figure out what you want, like what is your goal, right?
Speaker:I wanna live longer and look beautiful as long as I can.
Speaker:And that's your only goal.
Speaker:Well, then you're gonna be doing your research for those peptides
Speaker:specifically, and it's like everybody, even if, even if that's the goal, right?
Speaker:For some men who experience pattern balding in their family.
Speaker:They might be specifically looking for things that are gonna help
Speaker:them with their hair, right?
Speaker:Whereas people who, they're the men in their family keep ahead of hair forever.
Speaker:They might be more concerned about wrinkles and muscle density, bone
Speaker:or, you know, muscle, uh, composition and bone density, that kind of thing.
Speaker:So you wanna get clear on what the heck do you want, like what do
Speaker:you want out of it, you know, if there's an injury, if it's immediate.
Speaker:Then, yeah, your immediate injury and your first experience with peptides
Speaker:might be like, what happened to us?
Speaker:There's an injury.
Speaker:We're gonna try it.
Speaker:We're gonna track our symptoms.
Speaker:In that case, that's a perfect example, right?
Speaker:Because I'm gonna tell you what I did.
Speaker:Again, I'm not a doctor, but here's what I did.
Speaker:I was like, here's the symptoms that I'm dealing with.
Speaker:Um, here's how I measure how intense those symptoms are, because I, I
Speaker:don't want to be throwing money at peptides if I don't need them, right?
Speaker:So I wanna measure, here's my goal and here's the metrics by which
Speaker:I will measure whether or not I'm moving the needle on that goal.
Speaker:And then here's the, my research on this.
Speaker:Stack that I believe is gonna work best for me.
Speaker:And that's where then you wanna get into cahoots with your practitioner.
Speaker:And you wanna make sure, like, okay, is, is there any contraindication
Speaker:in case you're on anything?
Speaker:Or, or you have a health condition, like obviously you need to do your
Speaker:own work and do your own research.
Speaker:We're all grownups here.
Speaker:So then there's that.
Speaker:You pick your stack, you do your research, and you pick your stack.
Speaker:And then for me, like the proof is in the pudding, right?
Speaker:Like I don't wanna pay for any peptide that is not getting me a goal.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:So.
Speaker:so that's my process for doing it.
Speaker:And then once you've picked your stack, then you need to look at,
Speaker:well, what are, you know, the avenues for using that stack.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:So the vast majority of peptides, because they are very
Speaker:fragile little entities, okay.
Speaker:They're simple amino acids with sometimes single bond connections and
Speaker:anything that has like a, you know, anything that's fragile like that.
Speaker:You'll see a lot of people in the videos explaining you how to reconstitute that.
Speaker:Like don't just squish the bacterial static water in there really fast.
Speaker:Release the water in there nice and slowly.
Speaker:Don't shake it up like it's a shaker ball where you're trying to get
Speaker:your creatine to dissolve in the water with a little metal ball.
Speaker:No, you don't wanna do that.
Speaker:You're literally rolling it slowly because they're for, they're fragile
Speaker:bonds and we wanna teach them at you when we wanna treat them as such, right?
Speaker:So some you have to reconstitute with bacterial static water and
Speaker:they're injectable some, um.
Speaker:Like NAD plus, for example, is one that you can reconstitute with
Speaker:bacterial static saline, and you can use it as a nasal spray, right?
Speaker:So if your injectable stack feels a little heavy, you wanna be looking
Speaker:for, okay, how many of these could maybe be done as a nasal spray?
Speaker:And if you use the research sites that I put in that document, you
Speaker:can see that it's showing the efficacy based on the delivery model.
Speaker:So, oh, nasal, you might get, you know, an 87, whereas injectable is
Speaker:98, 99, a hundred percent efficacy.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:Well, if you've already got a stack that you're injecting a
Speaker:lot, it might be worth it to take a tiny hit in, in the injectable
Speaker:and do a nasal spray, for example.
Speaker:And then there's this whole debate, and you know, we won't go down
Speaker:that rabbit hole very far, that there's this whole debate of.
Speaker:Can we take peptides orally?
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:And there is a process, I think it's called the stack process.
Speaker:So there is a process by which they're trying to make peptides,
Speaker:um, survive the digestive process.
Speaker:So more people can take them that way.
Speaker:I've only tried them minimally.
Speaker:I didn't notice any difference at all the way that I did with injectables.
Speaker:So for me, I just bounced right back to doing injectables.
Speaker:Then there are some that can be absorbed topically, so like DHK, copper.
Speaker:That anytime you ha it has copper in the name, right?
Speaker:So there's copper in the peptide.
Speaker:Anytime there's a metal that you're injecting in the body, you can
Speaker:have a browning at the site, at the injection site and it can hurt a
Speaker:little bit more at the injection site.
Speaker:That's like the metal interacting with your body.
Speaker:I highly recommend you guys if you are geeky and like OCD about
Speaker:this, like me, then go take a course, read the books, right?
Speaker:Um, so because of that.
Speaker:Um, I prefer to do to reconstitute my GHK copper and either put it in a
Speaker:roller, like a little roller ball, or I used to put it in a roller ball and
Speaker:just put it in my, like crow's feet areas at night before I, I went to bed,
Speaker:but then I talked to one of my favorite coaches on peptides and she was like,
Speaker:you could just reconstitute that gh HK copper and put it in your night serum.
Speaker:So that's what I do now, just reconstitute it and put it in my night
Speaker:serum and like, we're good to go.
Speaker:But that.
Speaker:So that's topical then,
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:So that's a topical one.
Speaker:But can all of them be absorbed topically?
Speaker:No.
Speaker:That's why you have to do your research.
Speaker:So how do you pick your stack?
Speaker:Like, well, what am I looking for?
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:So for me, and I know that, you know, hopefully this is not too much, but I know
Speaker:Heather was kind enough to share with me.
Speaker:I was not so low in rolling through struggles when
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:like hormone changes,
Speaker:you know, I had to have.
Speaker:of women are all
Speaker:Yeah, it's a lot.
Speaker:So for me, I was like, okay, I would like my emotions not to be a
Speaker:10 when I know it should be a two.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:Like, I don't want, like, I'm tall and I'm thin, and I just started to notice like a
Speaker:redistribution of weight that wasn't me.
Speaker:And so that was one of my things to recenter, you know what I mean?
Speaker:You have to get really clear on what's going on that's bugging you
Speaker:or that what are your health goals?
Speaker:Then do your research on what are your options within that world.
Speaker:You know, what are the peptides that can support that?
Speaker:And some that I'm seeing.
Speaker:The most exciting for me that I've seen are my friends who were doing
Speaker:more conventional GLP ones and they switched to like aide peptide instead.
Speaker:Which gives you the same benefits as those they, they, they got the same
Speaker:benefits as those other GLP ones, but it also had a longevity and beauty place.
Speaker:So they're like, hell yeah, I'll totally take this.
Speaker:They only have to do it.
Speaker:Yeah, once a week.
Speaker:It's less expensive.
Speaker:It also had all benefits, so like.
Speaker:That was a winner when they did their research.
Speaker:And then of course they find out, okay, how do I reconstitute it?
Speaker:What's my frequency?
Speaker:What's the duration of the cycle?
Speaker:Right?
Speaker:So the cycle is how long do you take it and then you take it off.
Speaker:So for example, um, red, uh, like most people I knew are doing 2.5 units and
Speaker:they're doing it once a week because it's half life is six days in the body, right?
Speaker:And everybody's research is different, right?
Speaker:So that's the, the people that I trust, that's sort of, that's
Speaker:the conversation that I trust.
Speaker:So they're gonna track that in the tracker right here.
Speaker:And then they're gonna be noting their symptoms.
Speaker:Did they lose weight?
Speaker:Did they hit a plateau?
Speaker:Um, you know, some will notice, okay, I love what retro Reddit tide
Speaker:is doing, but it made me tired.
Speaker:And then they can circle back and research and find like.
Speaker:A motzi or an NID might help to, uh, bring the energy levels back up while their body
Speaker:is getting used to the way that your body starts processing insulin, um, and sugar.
Speaker:Like it just becomes a different conversation because it's really,
Speaker:some of them are really affecting your brain and the way that it tells the
Speaker:body to act, whereas some of them can be affecting more locally like tissue.
Speaker:So that's where doing your research like, like anything, right, you have
Speaker:to do your research and make sure.
Speaker:You know that your stack aligns with your goals.
Speaker:Yeah, no, that's a great answer.
Speaker:And, and again, go to, I'm just gonna shout it out again because
Speaker:like, you gotta get my peptides.com.
Speaker:I'm like your biggest uh, call to action fan boy right here.
Speaker:I'm, uh, 'cause there's a lot of information.
Speaker:There's probably like more than we'll ever go into on this
Speaker:episode because of so much.
Speaker:So definitely go research, like what all these different peptides are.
Speaker:If there's like terms that joy has used so far, just literally do some research
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:And you guys can DM me on Instagram too, like I'm totally an open book.
Speaker:I'm, there's already Joy Houston, she's like a wedding designer.
Speaker:So I'm at Real Joy Houston.
Speaker:But like, DM me your questions, you guys like, I'm, I'm happy to help.
Speaker:I'm happy to help.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:And it becomes like this whole thing, like I have this, I dunno if you
Speaker:can see this, but like, this looks like a thermos, like I might carry.
Speaker:Soup to work or something, but it does become like a
Speaker:lifestyle thing, a culture thing.
Speaker:And there's people who've like 3D printed these cool little containers.
Speaker:This is what they look like, you guys.
Speaker:So if you've never seen it, it's like they come in these little tiny
Speaker:jars, looks like a little insulin.
Speaker:But if you were to see it up close, it's a powder.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:like, it's interesting.
Speaker:It's like a, it's like a, a fluffy looking powder, but it
Speaker:doesn't just like move around.
Speaker:It's kind of like this.
Speaker:Patty almost at the bottom, but when you put the back water in
Speaker:there, bacterial static water,
Speaker:I'm learning all these terms.
Speaker:Uh, yeah.
Speaker:When you put it in there, it basically goes clear almost immediately.
Speaker:You know,
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:And you said it right?
Speaker:You roll it, don't shake it, you just roll it.
Speaker:Yeah, but you can see it's become a whole subculture because this thermos did not
Speaker:have this super cool little thing that I'm like, it looks like I'm carrying nuclear
Speaker:secrets around the world or something.
Speaker:But like, it's like a 3D printed.
Speaker:So like there is a subculture, there's
Speaker:such a big subculture of us using it that somebody thought to do a
Speaker:3D printed thing that fits like perfectly inside the thermos.
Speaker:So you can have stacks of your peptides instead of them like.
Speaker:Rolling around in your freezer and you
Speaker:know, I was
Speaker:storing
Speaker:Yeah,
Speaker:exactly.
Speaker:Did you have that like Yeah.
Speaker:Rolling around.
Speaker:I kept in the box that I, that I got it in, but still I'm
Speaker:like, okay, it's still clunky
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:So I keep them in the freezer until I reconstitute them and then I transfer them
Speaker:to the refrigerator and they stay in the refrigerator once they're reconstituted.
Speaker:That's how I do it.
Speaker:And I even like, and I put the links to these like weird, I'm so OCD, you could
Speaker:totally call it, call me out on it.
Speaker:But like I put the links to finding the right thermos and.
Speaker:Finding the 3D inserts on Amazon so you don't have to go hunting.
Speaker:And like even my little travel case, I was just in Florida for, um, Dr. Fab's
Speaker:event that, that fab life event and had my peptides with me with a little cooler.
Speaker:And by the way, I only had a, a carry on.
Speaker:And I was like, are they gonna be fine with this?
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:And sure enough they did look in the bag and I was like, what is this?
Speaker:And they thought it was insulin.
Speaker:And I'm like.
Speaker:It's my peptides and they were like, okay.
Speaker:You
Speaker:know, actually they had a ton of questions like, oh wow, what using
Speaker:them for, I've heard good things.
Speaker:So here I am like chatting with the
Speaker:TSA.
Speaker:Yeah,
Speaker:guy.
Speaker:well see.
Speaker:This is all right.
Speaker:So this is why I wanted to, uh, you know, I don't know, it's like
Speaker:last question or somewhere around there, but, um, why are peptide, why
Speaker:does it seem like it's underground?
Speaker:Why is it a subculture?
Speaker:Why is it not talked about more freely?
Speaker:And whereas like when you bring it up to people, people get super
Speaker:interested, even the fricking TSA agents.
Speaker:I know, I know.
Speaker:I mean, I don't wanna
Speaker:sound like those
Speaker:wackadoodle, you, like wackadoodle, like tinfoil hack conspiracy theory
Speaker:people, I, I don't wanna sound like that honestly, but I have to say that we, it
Speaker:feels like, and remember like my whole business, my whole world is in the health
Speaker:and wellness and medical kind of arena.
Speaker:That's all of the people that I serve.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:So even as someone who's been in that space for over a decade,
Speaker:I will admit that, you know.
Speaker:Our medical system kind of feels like a little bit of a mess, right?
Speaker:Like we're overpaying for our insurance premiums and apparently
Speaker:they're about to double, right?
Speaker:And then God forbid you have to use it.
Speaker:Yeah, right.
Speaker:God, for God forbid, you actually have to use that insurance and
Speaker:then you find out, well, shit, it doesn't cover anything anyways.
Speaker:Right?
Speaker:And then you find people who are trying to say that like, oh, diet
Speaker:and lifestyle make a difference.
Speaker:And something like, let's say stem cells for example, might make a difference
Speaker:or someone finds that, oh, high alkalizing the body when you have cancer
Speaker:is showing That makes a difference.
Speaker:Well, for God's sake, Robert Young, who advocated for alkalizing, when someone has
Speaker:an extreme disease like cancer in which the body, you know, can be very acidic in
Speaker:that state and those people are in jail.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:Or like how many people do you know that like went to get stem cells, but they
Speaker:had to go to Mexico, or Sweden or Norway.
Speaker:They had to travel abroad to get these things because.
Speaker:There's no way to slap a patent on it and to make it at scale and
Speaker:make shit tons of money on it.
Speaker:So again, I don't wanna be one of those weirdos who's like a copi.
Speaker:I don't wanna be like that.
Speaker:But at the same time, I cannot deny that there are things that happen in
Speaker:the health and wellness space that do kind of stay underground for reasons
Speaker:that unfortunately seem like they have a lot more to do with money and,
Speaker:and business and politics and just.
Speaker:Bullshit than it does with Oh, that that actually works.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:So I do think, unfortunately, that's part of it.
Speaker:And then why does this one stay underground?
Speaker:I have to say, no matter what site I've ever, ever ordered my
Speaker:peptides from, they all say like, legit on the site, on the bottle.
Speaker:They all say.
Speaker:For research only, or like someone will be like, oh, not for
Speaker:human consumption or whatever.
Speaker:So like they've kept this whole thing where the F FDA is not just gonna
Speaker:green light it and be like, woo-hoo, everybody take peptides and you can get
Speaker:them at your local health food store.
Speaker:You know what I mean?
Speaker:Um, so I, I think, you know, unfortunately, I think it
Speaker:has to do with just our, our
Speaker:The system.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:I think you're right.
Speaker:And I mean, that's the story I've heard from literally everyone
Speaker:who knows enough about peptides.
Speaker:So I don't think it's a, even a tinfoil hat really.
Speaker:Um,
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:I'll, I'll just say, and, and I think you know that too, but, um, the, like, I, I
Speaker:host a separate podcast from this one.
Speaker:I don't talk about it a lot, I really should, but it's called the TPE Blueprint
Speaker:and it's with a, uh, company called MD Lifespan and this Dr. Dr. Paul Savage.
Speaker:It's great.
Speaker:Um,
Speaker:Is that the blood circulation where they're, they're filtering and taking
Speaker:all the like plastics and molds and
Speaker:Correcto window.
Speaker:I
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:week, so I did
Speaker:Wow.
Speaker:How are you feeling?
Speaker:I feel fabulous.
Speaker:And, um, yeah, I'll quickly say it, because their treatment is,
Speaker:um, it's not covered by insurance.
Speaker:At least like, not for most people.
Speaker:It's pricier than most people can afford, but the idea is they want to go more
Speaker:at scale and, and make it affordable.
Speaker:Um, but it's.
Speaker:It's expensive right now.
Speaker:I mean.
Speaker:So, um, yeah, but it's literally, I, and I'll do a whole episode on this
Speaker:probably later on, but they cycled eight liters of my blood, so that's
Speaker:all of my blood, and it took two and a half hours and immediately it pulls out
Speaker:all of the plasma from my, my blood.
Speaker:I held up these.
Speaker:All the plasma that came outta me at the end of it, it was like this really,
Speaker:or dark orange, orange juice almost.
Speaker:And that was, it's cloudy because of toxins and other stuff.
Speaker:But, um, I'll, I'll do a couple more sessions, so that should lighten up.
Speaker:And, um, so
Speaker:it's like in another month I'm gonna do it again, and then a
Speaker:month after, that's basically, um.
Speaker:But, uh, I mean, I guess just to say the process really fast,
Speaker:so it's not like lingering.
Speaker:So all the blood comes out, plasma gets pulled out then, so I have blood going
Speaker:out of one arm back in the other arm.
Speaker:Kinda like you're
Speaker:donating plasma.
Speaker:Mm-hmm.
Speaker:bla back in.
Speaker:Okay, got it.
Speaker:But, uh, they have albumin.
Speaker:Put into my blood along with some, uh, I think it was some, um, uh, saline or just
Speaker:something that basically wouldn't clot, but the albumin is essentially, um, it's
Speaker:from donated human plasma that's been like radiated cleaned and all that stuff.
Speaker:So it's clear, it's like a yellowy clear, but that basically is like a placeholder
Speaker:until my plasma regrows it takes like 78 hour or 72 hours or something like that.
Speaker:For your own plasma to regrow
Speaker:correct.
Speaker:correct.
Speaker:it.
Speaker:Got it.
Speaker:Yep.
Speaker:And so it took about, yeah.
Speaker:And right after I get that done, that took two and a half hours.
Speaker:Then there's an IV had like 14, 15 different supplements and you
Speaker:know, minerals and all that stuff that gets put right back into me.
Speaker:So it takes another hour and um, and then now I'm doing this like clean shake.
Speaker:There's basically still a detox protocol happening, but um, I was
Speaker:just a little tired afterwards, you know, and that's normal blood sugar
Speaker:level comes down, all that stuff.
Speaker:But.
Speaker:Literally, I'm like waking up way less brain fog.
Speaker:It's like more of a clean focus feel, if that makes sense.
Speaker:Like not jittery.
Speaker:I mean I started with 23 toxins and a lot of molds, weirdly
Speaker:enough molds, uh, microplastics.
Speaker:Those are hard to test for, but we all have it in us, like even in our
Speaker:brains, our, it's fucking nasty.
Speaker:Even kids are being born with this stuff right now, like
Speaker:from utero.
Speaker:So.
Speaker:It's in everything, but basically, um, all that stuff's gonna get taken out, so it
Speaker:should go to zero after these sessions.
Speaker:And, um, but again, it's, it's a protocol.
Speaker:It's something that most people don't know what it is.
Speaker:That's why we started a podcast on it and.
Speaker:We have doctors of all sorts of walks of life, a lot of precision medicine doctors,
Speaker:because they're not in the system and they're saying the same shit you are Joy.
Speaker:So I wouldn't hold back.
Speaker:There's like, well, you know, you gotta do.
Speaker:It's not it, like it's, it's, there's studies on, it's been around for
Speaker:years, but for whatever reason, your insurance isn't gonna cover because
Speaker:it doesn't follow their protocol.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:And then the moment someone goes online and says, oh, I did that process and my
Speaker:years of suffering with mold migraines, or, you know, any of those things, then,
Speaker:um, you know, then we have to be really careful to protect our clients like
Speaker:that because then, oh, is that a claim?
Speaker:Are they, you know, and then before you know it, you've got the.
Speaker:Best people wanting to lead us to optimal health in orange jumpsuits because
Speaker:they're doing the right thing, you know?
Speaker:So, yeah.
Speaker:Uh, but we should have a side conversation about that because,
Speaker:um, that process is definitely something my practitioner audience
Speaker:would be very, very interested in.
Speaker:So, I'll, I'll message Heather and see You guys
Speaker:Awesome.
Speaker:for dinner anyways.
Speaker:Absolutely.
Speaker:We'll make it happen.
Speaker:I need something, uh, Travis'.
Speaker:Nice cocktails, you know, he's, he
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Oh my God.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Top
Speaker:notch, right?
Speaker:Then you're gonna need another blood
Speaker:transfusion.
Speaker:You know, it's, yeah, like I don't drink much, but I'm like, you know, I've had,
Speaker:you know, a couple wines since then, and I, it's weird because like the cravings
Speaker:of certain things have definitely dropped.
Speaker:It's only been like a week, um, like it's still
Speaker:early, but.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:I want the inside scoop on that.
Speaker:It is very interesting because I feel like the effects, like I just, it, it's
Speaker:a lot cleaner of what I put in my body.
Speaker:Assuming it's gonna be good though more or less.
Speaker:But even like alcohol, I'm like, don't really feel any
Speaker:weird, like I don't need it.
Speaker:But even then, I had a beer the other night at speakeasy, normally I'm like, I
Speaker:feel a little bit, I'm like, felt fine.
Speaker:And I was
Speaker:like, didn't even honestly feel the beer.
Speaker:I was like, wow, this is, it was more of a test.
Speaker:I'm like, am I gonna feel the high A, B, B?
Speaker:Didn't really feel it.
Speaker:So.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:happening, but
Speaker:Yeah, but I think like you, like you're in the marketing space, in that AI space,
Speaker:in the entrepreneurial space, and here you are doing something that's at the bleeding
Speaker:edge of what's possible with our health.
Speaker:And that's, that's how Joe and I came to be talking about this, right?
Speaker:Because we're both in that same space.
Speaker:He's who serves a different niche than me, right?
Speaker:But I do see that in our industry.
Speaker:Maybe that's because we're blessed to be, you know, abundant
Speaker:and have the, the bandwidth to be able to do stuff like that.
Speaker:And
Speaker:I fully, fully acknowledge that.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:That this is an, like he said, that process is expensive.
Speaker:Peptides are, you know, grossly expensive in some cases, very affordable if you do
Speaker:them responsibly and source them well.
Speaker:Um, but I do think there is this, in our space that we swim in, there is a lot
Speaker:of, of desire to stay on top of our game, to stay in the forefront of our health.
Speaker:I love that, that now came out on the podcast because the more that
Speaker:we're all willing to say, Hey, I feel like I have an unfair advantage,
Speaker:and I, I, I would like everyone else to know too, because if I'm getting
Speaker:wins, I, I want to share those wins.
Speaker:I'm, I'm super stoked that we're getting to share that and I
Speaker:don't own that company like that.
Speaker:Any of those like.
Speaker:You know?
Speaker:Yeah, there's like a Amazon, but who cares?
Speaker:It's just, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker:Like, I'm just like, if there's information that we can share with your
Speaker:audience, my audience, like let's do it.
Speaker:Like let's get the word out there.
Speaker:You know?
Speaker:We
Speaker:Amen.
Speaker:to the singularity, right?
Speaker:I don't know.
Speaker:Some say that we're actually there already with ai, so I dunno.
Speaker:I believe it.
Speaker:I believe it.
Speaker:I think
Speaker:Travis would go ahead and plug right in.
Speaker:Oh yeah, I know he definitely would.
Speaker:I might be right behind him I'll let him test it first though.
Speaker:No, I'm ha joy, I'm stoked that we talked about this.
Speaker:I know.
Speaker:We'll, we will do a round two on more of like some of the Heal at
Speaker:Scale stuff that you're doing.
Speaker:Talk about your book and how uh, practitioners are scaling themselves.
Speaker:'cause that's what you do all the time.
Speaker:But I, I think there's a. You know, there's, that concept can be also applied
Speaker:to a ton of other business owners.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:And you know how it is, it's like good business strategy, good marketing,
Speaker:good sales processes, honestly, like those apply to any, any business owner.
Speaker:Um, but for me, like when I looked back over all the, you know, clients
Speaker:of our first decade at Launcher, it was like, which clients do I love the most?
Speaker:Which ones would I like, jump outta bed to serve?
Speaker:And it was all the.
Speaker:The wellness, the, the health, the pe, the health celebrities, those kind of things.
Speaker:And so that's how come we went, you know, we went and did Heal at Scale
Speaker:because I love serving that audience.
Speaker:But yeah, what we're gonna talk about next time, it'll serve everybody.
Speaker:It's changed the quality of my life because literally I work the
Speaker:first three weeks of the month.
Speaker:And then we have what we call Thrive Week.
Speaker:And I'm gonna tell you how we got there, how we set it up, and how all
Speaker:of our practitioners had followed suit.
Speaker:Um, and they absolutely love it.
Speaker:So I wanna make sure your audience knows how to do that.
Speaker:We'll talk about that next time.
Speaker:That is rad.
Speaker:And is Heather my wife gonna love Thrive, thrive Week if I apply
Speaker:is gonna love it.
Speaker:You are gonna love it.
Speaker:You'll have a little bit of paranoia that will set in that it's not gonna work.
Speaker:My clients will freak out, my business will fall apart.
Speaker:And like, um, and I only know that because I experienced
Speaker:that myself, you know?
Speaker:Um, um, but now it's the San.
Speaker:Saving marriage, enhancing money, making like secret of how we get
Speaker:so much done, so efficiently and we stay so passionate about it.
Speaker:We, we never, we're never on the thread of burnout.
Speaker:Nice.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:Um, we are gonna record that one very soon.
Speaker:So let's, uh, uh,
Speaker:y'all keep a look out for it.
Speaker:I think so.
Speaker:So, all right, joy, is there anything else on the peptide, things
Speaker:that we left uncovered and, um.
Speaker:If so, let me know.
Speaker:But if not, what's something like you're super excited about or just looking
Speaker:forward to in terms of maybe it's peptides or just health in general that
Speaker:you're like, you know, the biohacker stuff, like anything that you're kind of
Speaker:yeah.
Speaker:yeah.
Speaker:Yes.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:So there is a peptide that I'm experimenting and um, this is for
Speaker:both the ladies and the men out there because it worked for both sexes.
Speaker:But it is a, um, uh, libido enhancing, like on the spot.
Speaker:Like you can just be like, okay, well it's date night.
Speaker:You're like, okay, 45 minutes before date night, I'm gonna try this new peptide.
Speaker:So I will report back when we record the other one.
Speaker:Like, okay, did, was it awesome or not awesome.
Speaker:Maybe that's tm, TMI for
Speaker:your audience, but like, I'm really excited about, I'm really
Speaker:excited about try, uh, excited about trying that one for sure.
Speaker:Like that one's definitely
Speaker:Just so we're seeding that
Speaker:Oh my gosh, you're so, I'm, I actually, it's so new that I don't, I need
Speaker:to grab my phone and like, tell you really quick, but I totally will.
Speaker:open right now.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly, exactly.
Speaker:I'm gonna pull up my, I'm gonna pull up my order and I'll
Speaker:tell you exactly which one it
Speaker:is.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:But you know what, it was just one of those things that like,
Speaker:you know, as you age, you wanna be like, okay, how do I optimize for
Speaker:all the things that make life fun
Speaker:and having your libido hang.
Speaker:That definitely keeps things fun.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:I'm gonna, I'm literally pulling up my order form.
Speaker:So you guys wanna see, I get to put my secretary glasses on for you.
Speaker:There you go.
Speaker:So the one that I'm trying is called PT 1 4 1, P as in Paul, T as in Tom, 1, 4, 1.
Speaker:And I'll definitely give y'all the low down when we come down to come
Speaker:back to talk about Thrive Week.
Speaker:And I'll tell you another for sure.
Speaker:That's one.
Speaker:And then NAD plus was a, I was noticing that I got a little tired
Speaker:when I did my round of, um, red aide.
Speaker:And so there were two options for like sort of.
Speaker:You know, balancing that out while your body's adjusting,
Speaker:which makes sense, right?
Speaker:Because if you're gonna start optimizing the way that your body, you know,
Speaker:processes glucose or you know uses fat, then of course any of that's gonna change
Speaker:your energy the way how much energy you have as your body's balancing out.
Speaker:So my options to sort of offset that, were NAD plus and mot C,
Speaker:and I went with NAD plus and.
Speaker:I love it.
Speaker:It's like I do 10 milligrams three times a week, three 10 or 10 units.
Speaker:So like on an insulin syringe, it shows that 10 units, right?
Speaker:I do 10 units three times a week, and it's like bam.
Speaker:No, like morning drag?
Speaker:No, in the afternoon.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:I would like to take a little cter, whatever, and like, yeah.
Speaker:I absolutely love it.
Speaker:I absolutely love it.
Speaker:Do you, uh, so do you take your peptides in the morning or is
Speaker:there later in the day, or does it
Speaker:Okay, so that's a great question.
Speaker:So for me, and this a good reason for you to have the A have the tracker, um, a do
Speaker:your research B have the tracker, right.
Speaker:So I do my stack in the morning and then I do a KPV injection at night.
Speaker:So I do half of my K pv.
Speaker:KPV is just a very strong anti-inflammatory.
Speaker:Um, and so I do kvs in my morning stack, but I do my, the other
Speaker:half of my dose in the evening.
Speaker:Got you.
Speaker:So it's, it is gonna spread out KPV.
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:Exactly.
Speaker:And you'll see that when you go into that document that I made you
Speaker:guys at Get My Peptides, um.com.
Speaker:If you go into that document and you go down to my favorite educational resources,
Speaker:literally I have open on my phone in one of my chrome tabs on my phone that, um,
Speaker:pedia.org, like that's my favorite one for just looking at the dosage, the timing.
Speaker:Also if you're like, Hey, I've decided that I'm gonna take this stack, right?
Speaker:This is my stack, but maybe you hear about a cool one from a friend.
Speaker:I don't add anything to my stack.
Speaker:A, I don't add more than one thing at a time because I wanna test and see, like
Speaker:I wanna be able to track the results.
Speaker:And I always go on there and say, is there a.
Speaker:Like a contraindication or is one gonna nullify another one because I
Speaker:Why You don't wanna raise your money.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:So I love that as a resource for checking my dosage, my timing, and any
Speaker:other peptides that it might, um, be synergistic with, meaning that it makes
Speaker:it work even better or that it might detract from the efficacy of that.
Speaker:And it'll tell you other peptides and even other like medications.
Speaker:So it's super, super helpful.
Speaker:yeah.
Speaker:No, that's literally what I'm looking up as you were naming some of these, so.
Speaker:If you felt like you got super lost with whatever Joy might have said, go to pep
Speaker:pdia.org and it's, again, it's in the, the document that, that, uh, joy shared.
Speaker:Yeah, Yeah, look it up.
Speaker:Look it up.
Speaker:And also in that education you'll see that, you'll see a lot of the
Speaker:like online courses that I took just for my own personal information.
Speaker:And there's some really good ones in there.
Speaker:That one that's listed from, there's a couple listed from
Speaker:her, but Dr. Tracy Strub.
Speaker:Um, her courses are really good because they're condition specific, so they're
Speaker:so, and you get little protocols, you can print them out and like.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:This person in my family is looking, working on weight loss, or if you're
Speaker:working on a gut issue or if you've been struggling with depression or a
Speaker:DD, like she has condition specific protocols that she explains and she
Speaker:explains all of the options of all of the peptides that are known to have
Speaker:rock solid research in that area.
Speaker:And then she helps you decide, or like narrow it down.
Speaker:Okay, well if all these peptides can have an effect, what is the effect?
Speaker:What is the research, how should I put my stack together?
Speaker:And she's very conservative, so like, like be minimal instead of maximalist with what
Speaker:she's, she's throwing at it, you know?
Speaker:And I love having the printed out protocols.
Speaker:Like I, I mean, I don't physically print them 'cause I don't wanna be
Speaker:wasteful, but I have them on deck, on my iPad and I just flip through them.
Speaker:So if, you know, my friends or family are asking, I'm like,
Speaker:well, you could look at this.
Speaker:I'm not your doctor, but you could look at
Speaker:Mm-hmm.
Speaker:Well, that's why I'm going to just send them now to get my peptides.com.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Awesome.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:me questions, I'm like, just go there.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Like it's
Speaker:Yeah,
Speaker:and it's not an opt-in you guys, again, like my business is heal@scale.com.
Speaker:It's a completely different business, and when you go there you'll see opt-ins
Speaker:and normal funnels and stuff like that.
Speaker:This is like, I love Joe and his wife Heather.
Speaker:They're amazing, and if they're halfway decent to this audience as they are to
Speaker:us and our community, then I just wanted to show up big and be like, Hey, don't
Speaker:waste your time doing all the research.
Speaker:If I can let you stand on my shoulders, let's go.
Speaker:The show, uh, you and Travis both Overdelivered and shout out to him.
Speaker:I know he is not
Speaker:right here, but I'm sure he'll hear about it.
Speaker:Give him a big, big, big old hug.
Speaker:And I know.
Speaker:I, I, yeah.
Speaker:Well you got the, uh, the payback of the B PC 1, 5, 7, I think,
Speaker:uh, the
Speaker:of course.
Speaker:Yeah.
Speaker:Thank you, dude.
Speaker:Thank you.
Speaker:you so, um, joy, this is amazing.
Speaker:Love you too.
Speaker:Love Travis.
Speaker:You are amazing.
Speaker:We're gonna come, uh, you know, like we're gonna have some cocktails.
Speaker:Have a good time and talk more.
Speaker:Of course.
Speaker:Yes.
Speaker:Alright you guys, I'm gonna plug it because in case he doesn't, but like,
Speaker:if you're not following this guy, if you're not subscribing to this guy, if
Speaker:you're not telling your friends about this guy, then you are not spreading the
Speaker:love that is available to everyone with everything that he brings to market.
Speaker:So I'm just gonna give you that shout out,
Speaker:Thank you.
Speaker:Thank you very much.
Speaker:It makes me cry over here.
Speaker:Yes, do that and then follow joy as well.
Speaker:Um, heal@scale.com.
Speaker:Anywhere else?
Speaker:You said the, uh, real joy Houston on Instagram, right else.
Speaker:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker:That's a great place.
Speaker:If they just have questions or like wanna
Speaker:Sweet.
Speaker:personal stack or whatever, like I'm an open book
Speaker:I know, I know.
Speaker:All right.
Speaker:Round two is coming soon.
Speaker:All right, y'all.
Speaker:So keep a lookout for joy.
Speaker:All right.
Speaker:Thank you.
Speaker:Bye.
