About the Guest:

Sara O'Connor

Sara has an impressive and varied musical CV, a new face to country music. She trained as a classical musician, then spent 20 years performing as a jazz singer and found her home in country music. Sara brings her musical background to the heart of her songwriting and sound. Her style honors the classic Country & folk singer-songwriters of the '70s.

Sara has an exceptional co-writing and producing partner Phil Stack (ARIA winning Thirsty Merc). Together with lyricist Teressa Marie Allen, they have produced an EP - Rollin' - and a full album - Dark All Day. Both recordings reflect her travels to Antarctica and the Artic.

She has entertained audiences at The Factory Theatre, The Basement, Metro in Sydney, The Forum (Melbourne), Tivoli Theatre (Brisbane), to name a few.

Her current single, Dark All Day, has had plenty of radio airplay, and the film clip Sleepwalkin' is on Country Music Channel (Foxtel).
