To kick off our focus on Mums and motherhood this May, we will be talking about whether the role of Mums have changed over the generations. 

In this episode, host Aaron Ng speaks with married couple, Ruth Kan and Ling Jiahao on their perspectives of motherhood, and how the relationships with their own mothers affected the way they view motherhood today.

Ruth and Jiahao have been married for 11 years and they have 4 children (3 sons aged 9, 7 and 4 years and 1 daughter who is 8 months old) Ruth is currently a stay-at-home mum. She was working for 7 years before she chose to stay home to be her children's primary care-giver. Jiahao is the founder of a creative agency called The Fireplace Collective. Besides enjoying time outdoors with the family, they are both passionate about journeying with people and they value the personal stories that each person carries.
