James Clark is a UK based freelance travel journalist who has written for Lonely Planet, BBC, Monocle, TGO Magazine and TNT Magazine.

James is planning on returning to Tohoku to complete the entire Michinoku Coastal Trail (MCT) and create a documentary as well as write a book about his experiences. It's been 10 years after the devastating 3.11.2011 Tohoku Tsunami which strongly affected coast where the trail is built.
