forever. Praise God for you, Pastor Titi. It's a great pleasure to connect with you.

What part of the world are you in today? I'm in Kenya.

How long have you been in ministry? I've been in ministry for around 11 years,

but I planned the church around 6 years ago. In the picture that I saw of you,

it's hard to gauge your age. How old are you? I'm 31 years.

So if I do the maths and you say 11 years, that gives us 19? Is that when you started

off in ministry? Yes, at 19 I was an assistant pastor,

but preaching I began at 16. How did you meet Jesus?

I was born and raised in a Christian family, but I can say that I never had a personal

relationship with Jesus. Actually, I can say that I was a doubt of an existence of God.

I never believed until one time when I was going to check on our goats.

We had goats in the field, so we'd always take them to the field. From the field,

we changed them to another field or another location during lunchtime. So at that time,

it was around lunchtime and I was going to change them. As soon as I left the compound, our home,

something strange happened. I saw a java plum tree or a jamun tree. It was very huge

and it had got very, very small fruits. So something came into my mind and I asked myself

a question, like the question was this way, God, do you mean you created this?

Then how comes if you created this, how comes this huge tree has got just small fruits?

Well, some small trees have got bigger fruits. And then I said, God, you never created this.

And again, I looked at the horizon and I said, if I see the horizon, I can see the end of the earth.

If somebody or if I move there, I will never reach the end of the earth.

So I said, how is this possible? And I said, God, you never created this.

When I said that, somehow, I felt a very severe headache. And at that moment, I lost strength.

I cannot explain how I found myself on the ground, but there was, and I lacked strength. And

immediately I had a voice. And the voice was telling me that you have questioned the creation

of God. And you need to repent. So I repented that very moment. I said, God, I'm sorry. I repent.

I've questioned. I've questioned you. I've questioned your creation. Forgive me.

And I accept you. You are God. You are Lord. I welcome you into my life.

When I did that, I regained my strength. I regained my sanity or my mind. And the headache

disappeared. So that is how I encountered the Lord. And that is how I was born again. And since

then, I believed in the existence of God. What emotion did you feel at that moment?

At that moment, I felt God was very, very real. Very, very much real. Because he answered a

question that maybe any preacher could never. And the way I felt was totally different with maybe

fed out, maybe be hearing a preacher preaching about the existence of God. At that time, it was

very, very real. I felt probably like soul. Let me say Apostle Paul, when he encountered Jesus,

I felt that feeling. Was it fearful? Was it love? Was it passion? This was the feeling,

if I would have not repented that time, probably I would have died. Have you had other encounters

with that are similar to that encounter? Yes, I've had a number of them. And the one now maybe

that followed, which called me into preaching the Word of God was at this particular moment that I

was very hungry. I had anger issues. My temper was always high. So I was having a cousin and this

cousin, I was around 16 now, because I told her at 16 years of age, I was preaching the gospel.

So at 16, we were in the field again, harvesting, we're harvesting some corns. I was living at my

grandma's place. So there was a cousin who was older than me. And as the work was going on,

I was also kind of a shepherd boy. I was always taking care of the animals. So it was around

lunchtime again, or around afternoon. And I felt I was tired and I needed to go check the animals.

So I told this, my cousin, that to allow me to go and take care of the animals, to give them water,

maybe to take them to another pasture. But he could not let me, he told me that I have to

continue the work. So I got angry and I insisted that I have to go. So when he saw me insisting,

he took a cane and he came to me and I was, I was mad. I took, there was a knife because in that

best harvesting field, we used to have knives for maybe sharpening some, some things maybe to use

to harvest. And I took that knife. I wanted to stab, to stab him. And thanks be to God,

because that particular moment, there was a servant around who intervened, took the knife.

And I went back home. When I went back home with the same anger still in me, the same rage,

to reach nighttime. Now that night, because we used to sleep at my uncle's place in the same

bed with this uncle, I mean with this cousin, that night, something told me that I don't need

to go and sleep in that same bed because I was either going to kill him or he was going to kill

me. So I felt like I needed the knife to move around with the knife, or maybe to go with knife

at our, that place where we're going to sleep at the bed. So that I wait at night, maybe when

deeply asleep, so that I can stab him in the chest and chest and kill him. At that moment,

something again, another voice came to me and told me that you don't need to do that. And if you know

you're going to do that, better spend or sleep somewhere else. So there was no any other place

to sleep, but only at my grandmother's house, which was in the living room. And there were

couches there that I could sleep on. And I requested the seat from a white sheet from my

mom, I mean, my grandmom, and then she gave it to me. So I spent on a coach that night. But this is

now how it happened. That night when it was a time to sleep, there was a court that was near the door.

And that coach was a three seater coach. So I slept there. But all of a sudden there was a smell,

a very strange smell like a rotten egg. There was no chicken that was maybe laying eggs there.

And there was no egg there. But I felt a very, very strange smell of a rotten egg.

And then this smell, I could not withstand it. So I had to move and shift. I began first to look at

that egg, where could it be around that seat? It was not there. So I shifted to the next one,

which was a bit far from the door. And then when I shifted from that place to another one, now

there was no smell. So I slept. When I slept, something strange happened. At that night,

what I can remember very well is that I had kind of a vision. And the vision I had was a man asking

me. There was a man in white and another man also in white. And these two men, one of them

was coming from the door. Another one was seated by my side. They were all dressed in white.

The one that was coming from the door was asking me, young man, do you know I'm taking your life?

And I would respond to him that, do you know Jesus? And he kept on asking, young man,

or saying, young man, do you know I'm taking your life? And I would respond, do you know Jesus?

So as he kept on saying such words and coming closer to me, I was losing kind of my boldness.

I was beginning to lose the dastardly authority. And as he was getting closer to a point now,

maybe the words could not come out of my mouth. And at that particular moment, the one that was

seated, the man that was seated by my side was just quiet. He was not saying anything.

So when he got closer to me and I was beginning to stammer, kind of saying, do you know Jesus?

And the words could not come. Then immediately the man disappeared. And I found myself awake.

When I found myself awake at that moment, I checked the white sheet which I was covering

myself with. It wasn't there. Then I found myself seated. I began to wonder what had happened.

So I looked for the sheet all over in that house. I could not find it until I prayed to God and

asked God, God, this is strange. I've never experienced such a thing. And if you know,

Lord, this is maybe a vision we're giving me, a dream or something has happened to me.

Where is my sheet that I used to cover myself? And then God tells me, yes, I've been speaking to you.

I want you to go to this particular seat inside it. You're going to find the sheet.

I went there inside it for sure. There was that sheet inside. I came back. I could not sleep

because it was a unique thing. So when I could not sleep, I prayed to God again. I asked God, God,

what do you mean? And then God tells me, because I'm just trying to cut this short.

It tells me that at the door, the reason you smell the smell of a rotten egg kind of

is because that place was closer to the door. And Satan wants to get to you to destroy your life.

And the one that was coming from the door was Satan himself. He's after your life. And the one

that was seated by your side, that is me. That is my son. That is Jesus Christ who was there. He

could not speak, but he was protecting you. So when that happened, God gave me the interpretation

after praying that moment. And I remember the following, the next thing I asked God, God,

I cannot still believe all this. If you want me to believe all this, give me a sign. Immediately

that moment I asked for a sign, somehow, something or things began to beat the ceiling of the roof.

And it was so much loud. It was so much loud that I believe every person in the house should have

heard it, but nobody seeming to have heard it. So I prayed to God at that moment that God, if this

is you, let these things disappear. Let this sound stop now. And immediately it stopped again. So at

that moment, I said, God, thank you for preserving my life. I will serve you and I surrender my life

to you. That moment in the morning, I asked every person, listen to it. They did not hear. So that's

how I can say it was another encounter. It's fascinating that your initiation to meeting

God has always been about consistently shifting.

Just to trust in the Lord in all things and everything.

Maybe I would want to say that

this journey or the life is just about Christ in us, not about us. It's no longer about who we are.

It's about who Christ is. So we have to trust in him, obey as he leads us and as he guides us.

That's what I can maybe share with others out there that you're going to sacrifice. It's no

longer your life anymore. You have to suffer the same suffering of Christ. So

trust in him. He's not going to destroy you. He's going to build you.
