TA Ep. 169 Juraj Kocar - Wyze Earth and the Healing Power of Adaptogenic Mushrooms
[:Leigh Ann: Okay. Well, you're right. Welcome back to the Crescent podcast today. We have you on to talk about a whole new different brand. And I think it's going to be kind of exciting because as you alluded to in our chat before recording, you have a little bit of your own personal story to add to this aside from just us getting to be able to sit down and break down all the amazing components of this new product.
But before we dive into Wyze Earth and. All of the benefits of these products. Let's kind of rewind and go. What, what brought you here? What lights you up? What inspires you about these products? And yeah, a little bit of your story with that.
n. You know, uh, since, since:And I realized that the doctors would not help me, you know, this, uh, you know, this transformation, this personal transformation, uh, led me on the, on, on the health and wellness journey where. After after this transformation, I said like, yeah, this is something that I would like to do this path, you know, like helping other people as well on their healing journeys.
ursue this, uh, for me, like [:S. audience.
Leigh Ann: I love that. And tell us, give us kind of this introduction then just like a broad overview of why's earth, who are they? What are they? And then I think we're going to get really deep into some of the specifics of the ingredients, the products.
Juraj Kocar: Sure, sure. So, you know, a couple of months ago, I started to, uh, started to dive a bit deeper into adaptogenic mushrooms. Uh, you know, that are used in traditional Chinese medicine for, for, for, uh, Thousands of years. And there are some, some, uh, known pretty known companies in the U S like mud water or, or for that, that, that use them.
the more I was diving deep. [:I wanted to. Uh, companies and I'm using both, uh, their products, but I wanted to go a bit, a bit deeper, more on the healing journey. So, so yeah, I was diving deep, deep, uh, into these, uh, leptogenic mushrooms and basically no one knew, no one knew around me, uh, that, uh, just, just two people, uh, that this, this is the path that I would like to go.
en, uh, you know, like a guy [:And, uh, you know, when he mentioned that, uh, you know, I have this, uh, this honey that we are infusing with adaptogenic mushroom extracts. This like pretty much blew me away because all of the because of the synchronicity, you know, I I was basically working on something in my mind that the path that I would like to go and then Someone you know out of nowhere approaches me Hey, you're I like we have this product.
o it happened in Prague. So, [:Leigh Ann: Oh,
Juraj Kocar: We have amazing healing stories. And, uh, I've heard that, uh, you grew a company in, in, in the U S so if you would like to, like, I'll help us.
And so, so there were two, two parts in, into this where I said like, yes, definitely yes, because I was personally interested even, even before, as I mentioned, and then he, uh, shared the story with me, the story of how, uh, He, how he founded the company, which is, which is a bit, bit sad story. Uh, but you know, this, this amazing thing came out of it.
f years ago, uh, he lost his [:Leigh Ann: Mm.
Juraj Kocar: which was really. Cause they were really close and she didn't tell anyone, they just found out, uh, and when it was too late and she was already in hospital and the doctors just called them, uh, just, just come here and you have to like, say goodbye cause, uh, it's
Leigh Ann: Oh, wow.
ner, uh, healed himself from [:Leigh Ann: Wow.
Juraj Kocar: And so this Was like super interesting for him because he was grieving because of his sister. And now, you know, someone mentions like something like this. So they started, you know, working together, uh, on the product to make like a business out of it. Cause he was just like helping people around. It was not like a business. And so he said that with the company, he would really like to help people. So they would not be experiencing or going through with them or with the family members whatever he was experiencing.
Leigh Ann: Mm hmm.
oms are the best fighters of [:So, so this is how this is how we started the company. And when he shared the journey with me. I immediately knew that, uh, yeah, this is, this is what I want to do. This is, this is where I want to help.
Leigh Ann: Oh, that's amazing. What a profound story to, you know, when these come out of need, really, so many of these beautiful founders of these smaller companies, that's what's fueling it is a need in their own life that whatever traditional medicine wasn't filling or solving, whatever was currently on the market wasn't filling or solving, and so they went.
Found the solution they needed, which is pretty profound.
p of that, uh, I was already [:We'll see how, you know, uh, how, how people got healed from various cancer types, you know, from lung lung cancer, you know, ovarian, uh, tumors, even brain tumors, like various cysts that, that started to, to disappear. Of course it was helping also on, uh, let's say with, with, uh, you know, not. Not so let's say, uh, not as dangerous, uh, like, like, uh, illnesses, but, but he shared mainly with me, you know, this, this, this profound, profound healings.
And, and I've seen the [:Leigh Ann: Yeah, well, let's dive right in and because I want to spend time really helping people understand why this isn't just another jar of honey on the shelf. There is so much more to it, but we might also need to backtrack to just for any who aren't familiar. What, what are the products? I also want to do a little bit of a definition of adaptogenics, just in case anyone's not familiar with that term.
Let's start there, maybe just a broad overview of what the products are. And then we'll start to get into some of the nuance.
ee main things. They have to [:What does so non toxic means that you cannot overdose with them, which is pretty significant, you know, like you, they are pretty, pretty much safe to, you know, eat them in, uh, in, in higher doses, uh, non, non specific, uh, non specific that mean non specific, you know, like area that, that means that. For example, when you have a drug, you have it for like a headache or joint pain or stomach problems or whatever.
ave this non specific effect [:And, and you would take just one and whatever, you know, whatever, there's a, there's a problem in the body. it will, it will work on that. So this is like the non specific. They are not designed specifically for one, let's say, niche.
Leigh Ann: Mm hmm.
Juraj Kocar: uh, and then the normalizing effect means the third one is that they are like bi directional.
if we take again, if we take [:And it's the, the same thing, but it has different effect on our nervous system. So for example, if your nervous system is too, let's say pumped up, it will, it will It will calm it down and when it needs a boost, it will boost it. So you can see, you know, based on these three things that they are like really, really unique and, and universal.
So these are what we, the, the, the mushrooms have to have these, uh, three things
Leigh Ann: Mm hmm.
Juraj Kocar: to be [:Leigh Ann: What I want to point out in this and kind of echo back is one, when I think oftentimes, at least here in America, when adaptogens are talked about, it's talked about specifically for the nervous system, but even more specifically as like calming, calming, um, benefits, you know, take adaptogens to calm your nervous system.
And so I want to take a second to point out the distinction you made here is. Adaptogens are actually even more versatile than that. They're able to help your nervous system do what it needs to. Sometimes for many of us, that is calm down. And then sometimes in other cases, in other times of the day, it's actually to ramp it up.
okay, this is something that [:And then I also really want to point out the huge anti inflammatory benefits, because again, adaptogens are mainly talked about in terms of the nervous system and regulating the nervous system, not, not for their anti inflammatory benefits, which to your point, when something is so anti inflammatory, that can impact every single system of the body,
environment like all of that [:And, and not only we, but we have like great results with it, but the adaptogenic mushrooms, they, they been through, you know, gold standard studies. That means.
Leigh Ann: right?
Juraj Kocar: Double blinded, uh, you know, placebo control study, uh, so, so, and there are like hundreds of, of them, uh, for specific, uh, you know, for specific, uh, adaptogen.
raditional Chinese medicine. [:Leigh Ann: This was literally the next question I was going to ask is why put them in honey?
Juraj Kocar: yeah, you mentioned, uh, you know, so that this is this amazing journey. So, uh, this amazing honey.
So I like to think about it, that it's not. Like it is of course honey because it has the most volume. It's not like honey with adaptogenic mushrooms But I like to think of think of it as those are adaptogenic mushrooms first put into there are put into honey You know like infused in honey, but of course there's that's a big jar.
e but that's the first thing [:So the, the sugar in the honey serves as a, you know, as a, as a delivery, as a, as a medium. Uh, and it absorbs the, the nutrients and, and, uh, you know, better glucose and all of that. And so it, uh, the body is, uh, is able to absorb it, uh, you know, more, more, uh, efficiently. So it's improving the, the bioavailability.
So those are. You know, the, the two main, uh, main factors why, why we use honey.
Leigh Ann: And honey has so many benefits by itself as well. You know, it's a
ith, uh, with lots of herbal [:It was, uh, it was, you know, really hard, but, but they tried it and it tasted, you know, like great. It was so, so honey is, you know, like a super conservative in
Leigh Ann: Oh,
Juraj Kocar: case, yeah, in case it's, uh, Uh, you don't put anything in, into honey, like, like butter or, or I don't know what if there's a honey, you know, just by, by itself, then it, it, it can last for thousands of years.
will never go bad. So it's a [:You've got the longevity, the heart flow, and then the detox. And I'd love to sit with each of these a little bit, particularly the detox because there's some really cool ingredients in there. I'd like to get to, but yeah, if we can spend a sec on the three products, how they're meant to be used, can we mix and match?
Give us all the
, most potent one, like, uh, [:And, so this, this one, uh, together with the detox. Uh, is the one that, you know, I would call like, uh, essential starter kit. Cause detox, you know, obviously in current environment, there's not enough of detoxing of our body. So, so the, the longevity or the heart flow, I would always combine with, with detox. So the, the longevity there, there are, uh, Adaptogenic mushrooms only then we have the, then we have the heart flow, which is designed, uh, you know, for, uh, cardiovascular health.
he, the ingredients, uh, are [:Optimize the, the blood pressure, blood pressure, and we have, you know, like great, great, great results with that. So that's, you know, that's, that's the heart flow. Uh, it's, it's pretty good. It's almost pink, you know, like, like with the, like, uh, like blood and then heart. And then we have, uh, you know, then we have the detox, which is, there's like, like tumor turmeric extract, like tour Marine black pepper extract, uh, you know, and, and the herb that is, uh, you know, like, uh, [00:23:00] specifically it has antibacterial and antibacterial.
Paracetic like properties?
Leigh Ann: Is that the sweet wormwood?
Juraj Kocar: Yes. Sweet work. Exactly.
Leigh Ann: And then the elderberry. So that has, does that have the adaptogens in it too?
fficacy of, uh, of turmeric, [:Leigh Ann: Okay.
Juraj Kocar: And there, there are even, there are even stories how people that were using just Like turmeric extracts got rid of some, some, you know, serious, serious health problems. So the funny thing is, or the interesting thing is on, uh, with, uh, with, with the detox, when you start taking it on a daily basis. So one spoon is enough.
So one spoon a day of each, and you can combine them as, as, as, as you want one. So when you will be taking the one spoon of the detox a day. Uh, you will s You will even like smell the detox coming, uh, from your skin pores, uh, you know, so you will just smell, like smell, smell the detox. It's, it's, it's interesting.
I, [:Leigh Ann: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we know we expel a lot through the skin. I wonder too, you know, I do the sauna. So I wonder if that paired with sauna kind of helps things come out even quicker,
was, when, when I was around:That was what like significantly like help, helped me. So, uh, you know, I, from time to time, I, I definitely recommend, uh, you know, to, to, to, to try it. Anyone that has never done it, just, you know, what, some YouTube, YouTube videos and yeah, don't be afraid. And I, uh, after that, you will definitely feel the huge difference in your, in your head, in your brain.
It's some, it's something like. A light bulb will, will, would light up in your, in your head, how all of a sudden clear your mind.
ntial emotional contributors [:So coffee, enemas, the supplements, the sauna, all of this is like such, you know, well tread paths for them. But it's, I, I love being able to share new products that of course always are non toxic, but also impactful and well sourced and intentionally created.
these, these bees and taking [:So. It's a super, you know, clean and, and healthy honey from, from central Europe. And, uh, and regarding the, regarding the, the extract. So, 'cause my, my partner was in the, so we are sourcing them from, from, from China, uh, and uh, because. Because he, you know, found a company that is producing these extracts for, for, for Japanese companies from, from companies from, from Canada, even for, for cosmetic companies. And they use really like high potency extracts. So the usual, the, the industry standard ratio is, uh, approximately eight, eight to one, that [00:29:00] means, uh, from, uh, let's say eight grams of, uh, of, of mushrooms, you get one gram of, of a powder extract. And, uh, you know, our extracts have the ratio of 25 to one.
Leigh Ann: Okay.
Juraj Kocar: means they, they have like, they are like super high, high potency.
g and unique that came, they [:Leigh Ann: So this was going to be one of my questions is why, why would someone want to take this product over something like Four Sigmatic, like Mudwater? And that's not to bash those brands. I love Four Sigmatic. I drink their coffee all the time, but I think that's going to be everyone's first question is they might be like, Oh, well, I, you know, I have fit for Sigmatic in my cupboard or I have some other like adaptogenic blend, why would they want to go consider this over some of those?
And it sounds like one of those reasons is the amounts of the adaptogenics might be much higher.
onsidered as a product. as a [:So, so of course they are not, they cannot be categorized, uh, such a way in Western
Leigh Ann: Yeah.
Juraj Kocar: medicine. But, uh, but they still do the work. So, so I, again, I also, uh, you know, love, well, Mudwater and Four Sigmatic, but they are, they are more of a, you know, like a, let's say lifestyle things, or if you want to have a healthier version of, of coffee or alternative to coffee.
Leigh Ann: Mm hmm.
hen this would be, you know, [:And as I mentioned before, we have like some really amazing results with, with the product. Uh, and I have to, and I have to say that most of the people that, uh, got back to us, they didn't change, uh, anything else, they just added, you know, this product, so, We are almost a hundred percent sure that, that, uh, you know, the, this is the, this is, this is the outcome of, uh, of, of, of like use using the product.
So, so I would say this is, this is the, this is the main difference.
's supplements you take just [:That's kind of how we're comparing. This is, um, this is something you want to think of when I am actively trying to recover from something. I'm in an active diagnosis. You really want to up the game and take something that's way stronger than just something that is meant to be taken in small doses every day.
launch a new product that is [:Uh, there will be some other like herbs and other pachinko mushrooms, but it will be mainly based on, uh, uh, Asian ginseng and cordyceps. So So, and, and it's not only for, you know, energy, but, uh, it's also for, you know, uh, let's say, uh, libido and sexual problems.
een clients in between in my [:Juraj Kocar: Yeah. Yeah. I was, uh, yeah, yeah, exactly. So, so, sorry to interrupt. I was just, I just got back from a conference in Boulder. Uh, it was a heel conference, uh, organized by Gaia. And, uh, you know, I had, uh, I had the honey in backstage. Uh, where, where all the, all the speakers, uh, where, where all the speakers were.
And, uh, you know, I, I knew one of the, one of the speakers and she was telling me, you know, stories that, that, uh, they were so like hooked on the honey and every time they were supposed to go, uh, you know, after a long day on, on the stage, they, they took a spoon, you know, to, you know, get the, get the ener energy and then mood up.
So. So, uh, yeah, it was, it's, it's definitely, you know, uh, it improves like mood and energy and among course amongst other things.
et. So to, to kind of circle [:I'm looking at them for someone who is, let's start with someone who's in an active diagnosis of some kind, whether that's cancer or chronic illness, or it might even be someone who maybe you, you know, just had a car accident and your body is really needing a ton of extra healing. Um, I guess I got a little broad there, but from what I understand from what we've talked about, where someone, particularly in a chronic illness state, might want to start is with the longevity blend and the detox blend.
about three months. Yes. So [:So one, one spoon a day to get the most, really most benefit out of it, just put it directly into your mouth. Uh, you know, don't put it into like smoothie or, or, or tea or coffee, even though you can, and I, I do like it to have it, uh, have it in the coffee, but, but really, if you just, uh, you know, want to be, just get the most out of it, uh, it's, uh, it's, it's the best, uh, Mainly, um, I mean, mainly if, if someone is struggling with, with a health problem, this is the way I would, uh, I would recommend it, you know, just, just, uh, you know, take some time and, you know, just, just, uh, uh, just have it on like a, like a, like a spoonful.
n early stage cancer journey [:They're having to swallow all day long and something I wanted to point out in what you said Because I know people are you know gonna be Discerning of this is the law that longevity jar like you said is really large It's a three month supply and it's only a hundred dollars, which actually works out to only thirty three dollars a month Which when it comes to supplements?
In the U. S. that is really affordable for supplements.
Juraj Kocar: yeah,
Leigh Ann: And I think that's worth pointing out because sometimes, you know, anyone who might go on initially goes, whoa, 100 for a jar of honey. But of course, as we've spent this whole 40 minutes talking, it's much, much more than a jar of honey and it's going to last you three months.
Juraj Kocar: [:I'm not talking about, uh, you know, uh, the, the,
Leigh Ann: Processed sugar.
he was sipping it throughout [:That one spoon. And in about like three to four months, he was able and his, his wife actually told us that, that she was like really amazed by that. He was able to lower his, uh, you know, like, uh, insulin intake by almost like 80%,
Leigh Ann: Oh,
Juraj Kocar: which is like, that's like a, Really, really significant because, you know, you cannot almost like cure that and, uh, just by, you know, taking the, the, the, the honey infused with other genic mushrooms, they have so profound effect on the, on the inflammation and how, uh, you know, the, the body responds to this, that, that, uh, he had, you know, this, this significant improvement.
Leigh Ann: Yeah, that's so profound. Are there any other testimonials that you're, you know, allowed to share? And if not, we can cut it out. But I know that's, it's so inspiring to hear those. Or we can throw in whatever disclaimer we need to.
Juraj Kocar: Yeah. [:Leigh Ann: I think autopsy's right. Or he's the one who maybe prepares it for burial.
Juraj Kocar: yeah, when he's, uh, when he is trying to, uh, find out, you know, why, why that person died
Leigh Ann: Yeah, autopsy I
knew that this is something [:And so he knew that, that. There's no way how, you know, how this could be, you know, like, uh, operated or something. So he started to use the honey and after three, yeah, it was, it was three months, he, he gave us a call. He, uh, you know, he called, he called Daniel and he told him, Hey, that, Hey, I have, you know, these papers, these confirmations from, from doctors from this January.
And from this March and on one, there's this, that I have five cysts, et cetera, et cetera. And on the other one, uh, that I have only one cyst from the five and the one, uh, shrink like 90%.
Leigh Ann: Oh, wow, oh my
em totally disappeared. And, [:But again, that was the only thing that, that he, he added. So, and for him as a, you know, Let's let's call him a surgeon that it was also like a miracle for him. What what happened? So we have, uh, you know various of these Testimonials we have some some others as well. But what I would like to share is a bit more You know like a bit bit sad story when Uh, when, you know, it's a, it's a successful story in terms of the healing, but in terms of the relationship with the doctor, it's, it's a bit sad because we, we have a lady that was able, you know, that didn't want to do the chemo, which was purely her decision and she wanted to go a different, different road.
So she started. [:Leigh Ann: Wow.
Juraj Kocar: And, but he, you know, he told her, You know, whatever you are doing, just, you know, keep doing it.
But, uh, you know, I, I don't want to know, you know, so not, not that he would be interested. Oh my God, what are you doing? Uh, he just wanted to, you know, totally be, be out of that. So, yeah, that's, that's the, that's the current health system. But, uh, luckily, you know, we have people like you and, and some other holistic, you know, practitioners.
als experiencing cancer that [:We know what the deal is there. And And then, then they're coming to the Holistic Cancer Center I'm at and adding in all these supplemental things, trying to find out potential physical and emotional root causes. But yeah, that unfortunately is the response of most of their oncologists, is either don't, you know, do whatever you're going to do, don't tell me about it.
oncologist who's like, Whoa, [:This is amazing.
Juraj Kocar: yeah, yeah, no, it's, it's, uh, you know, it's in, well, it is interesting, but also it makes sense that, you know, when in Asia, there's different history of, uh, of, of traditional medicine that, for example, in South Korea and Japan, uh, doctors prescribed with, uh, like 70 percent patients when they have, uh, like a chemotherapy, they actually prescribe, uh, adaptogenic mushrooms.
You know, along with the chemo, you know, so, so there you go, but you know, that's, yeah, this is Japan and South Korea. So, yeah, yeah,
of the patients we're seeing [:But to that end, we know how destructive chemo is not just to cancer, but the entire system. And so the fact that conventional medicine is not offering or suggesting a single thing to rebuild the body for me is just flabbergasting. I can't even wrap my head around it.
Juraj Kocar: yeah, yeah, exactly. So, so, yeah, whatever. You know, wrote, uh, people decide to go, I, I, I would always recommend, you know, to go with, uh, you know, with the adaptogenic mushrooms. So, yeah,
Leigh Ann: Yeah.
Juraj Kocar: they're safe, they're safe, you know, they have this. Super universal properties. They are the biggest, you know, fighters of, of inflammation.
nce. So there's basically no [:Leigh Ann: And I actually want to circle back real quickly to the, the sugar conversation because we know that a lot of the patients I work with are usually on ketogenic diets or something to that effect for like a month or so super intensely, and then they can start to introduce natural things like honey or maple syrup or whatever, but we know the body processes the sugars in honey completely differently than it processes refined sugar.
It uses it in a completely different way. And I think to your point that, um, customer with diabetes kind of proves that point too. So I think that's worth saying though, cause I could totally understand how some individuals experiencing cancer might be like, Oh no sugar. I have to avoid that at all costs.
Obviously consult with your physician, but we know the way the body processes diabetes. Natural occurring sugars in honey is completely different.
h, yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah.[:Leigh Ann: Well, this was so great. Thank you so much for helping us. I love getting to dive into all the different details and intricacies. So I'll make sure that I mean, well, why don't you tell us where the audience can find you? If they want to learn more, I'll of course make sure everything is linked in the show notes too.
Juraj Kocar: Of course. So they can find us on the wise earth. com that it's spelled a W Y S E earth. So why? Sir. com the Instagram handle is a wise underscore earth. And if someone would like to reach out directly to me, uh, it's on the website, the contact form that goes directly to me. And uh, you know, I would like to hear from, from anyone, you know, anyone that, you know, Feels inspired and, and, and, uh, would like to, to help or, or to trial the products.
Yeah. Let, let me know.
. You're right. Like I said, [:Juraj Kocar: you for having me.
