Meanwhile Matthew sticks out with his Clavo Oxidado. A Latin riff on a Scottish classic which is also good after dinner faire. Mon Cherry Frexicano
- 1 oz Mezcal
- 1 oz Cognac
- 1 oz Cherry Liqueur
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with 3 Luxardo cherries.
Clava Oxidado
- 1 1/2 oz Reposado Tequila
- 3/4 oz Licor 43
- Garnish: Orange Twist
Combine the tequila and Licor 43 into a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 30 seconds until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Express orange peel oils over cocktail and drop peel into the glass.
