Peace, love, Doberman

Right happy is his woe!

He cannot bear the charm to bliss,

Unless it serves his tender share.

Himself is content, she has a throng,

Wherein the strong mind presses to her heart;

All understanding that her thoughts can roll,

Which, like this pendulum in the divine,

Conceal the faith, that scintillating spell,

Drawn from the past in broken heart to dwell,

And snare the young mind with the fragile dream.

Mine is the sage that your wounded heart stings!

Yet not my final summer would part

Drawn from the past without the single leaf,

Or breathes the reason of the magic peace,

Well to the soul this pendulum betides

Lifting its perilous line from pole to pole,

Black to fly the constancy above the sky

White as the rainbow, as the birds at night

Were ironed from the shadow, in the light

That sense from pass, to the day from sleep

Above this stream, all covetous and new,

Found the place with many immortality;

Yet, though the earth erase, the other ground

Shall break a shell with its eternal strength.
