What does it actually mean to leave a legacy—and what are we trying to build with Legacy (Re)Builders?
In Episode 2, Colt McKelvey turns the microphone around and interviews co-host Matt Robles about the vision behind the podcast and why Christians should think differently about legacy.
Legacy isn't simply about how much money we leave behind, what we accomplish, or whether people remember our names. The better question is: Were we faithful with what God entrusted to us?
Matt and Colt discuss what that faithfulness looks like across every area of life—from marriage, parenting and family worship to work, wealth, estate planning, community, and the Church. They talk candidly about their own failures as fathers, the importance of repentance, the influence our habits have on our children, and why the inheritance we leave extends far beyond our finances.
They also explore the biblical pattern of receiving truth and wisdom from those who came before us and faithfully passing it on to our children and future generations.
Ultimately, Legacy (Re)Builders exists to restore an emphasis on faithful living today, building for tomorrow, and glorifying God always—because there is no part of our lives that does not belong to Christ.
