[00:02:07] Frank Roll: go. Well, so I, one of my favorite things that I want to talk about should be on this list, but technically it was 21, but I didn't watch it till 22.

[00:02:15] Scott Moran: why I put on there. What were things you found this year? Yeah, that's what we do. Nobody fucking watches, just new stuff. Mm-hmm. , we did back in the day. I felt like it was a hard tear of like just new. Yeah, it was mostly new as things came out while finding one thing here and there now there's so much stuff.

[00:02:40] Scott Moran: I was watching some YouTube video about taxi and like taxi. The show. Yeah. It wasn't on for very many seasons. Mm-hmm. , but it like had a lot of episodes syndicated and it got canceled, but like the amount of people that watched Taxi, it had a real impact on people.

[00:03:01] Frank Roll: ever again. Now I've seen it mention in several different things. No, the fan base for that show, they were all about that show. It touched them like they related to that show. Yeah. Do you

[00:03:12] Scott Moran: I'm sure I have Danny DeVito's like reveal that he's short as like he, because he's up in the booth, you know, I don't remember that. Like, he's in the, the room with the, the office with the window. Mm-hmm. and, uh, he's like yelling at him and then he comes out and just like starts screaming at uh, who's the guy's?

[00:05:33] Scott Moran: Neck and neck for me. Cuz outer range was such a, my kind of science fiction mm-hmm. Story. Mm-hmm. , like very, not in a science fiction setting. That's what I like.

[00:05:55] Frank Roll: That's what you found. And then I sat on it until 2022. Mine like

[00:06:03] Frank Roll: Jackets was in fact 2022. And it's also on my list February of 22. Well

[00:06:12] Scott Moran: No, um, that was the best show of the whole year. We're gonna get to it where I bring up Yellow Jackets. This is the most exciting thing I watched all

[00:06:23] Scott Moran: jackets, but it was a good year because outer range and severance were just as, Outer range. I just, just didn't get quite as excited.

[00:07:01] Scott Moran: I'm gonna call it Archive 81, a limited series, but I really liked that. That was also

[00:07:26] Scott Moran: We've been watching that. It's on Peacock. It's a sci-fi channel show with Alan Touc who played Wash in Firefly. Yes. Yeah. And he's like an alien. It's the funniest show I think I've seen all

[00:07:45] Frank Roll: Okay. Here's the thing though. He likes screams . So like they paid him to scream in this Disney movie and I was like, you fucking do you.

[00:08:06] Scott Moran: Oh. And it was like, was he in Dodgeball? Uh, I don't know. He was in Wonderboys. He was the Jan. I

[00:08:24] Frank Roll: Yep. Steve the

[00:08:44] Scott Moran: I don't, he like drops. I can't pitch the weed down to him and then he gets dizzy watching it fall. Damn. No, I don't remember that one. That's a deep cut. No one is gonna know what I'm talking about. No one likes that movie as much as me and you. Wonderboys is underrated. It's. It's

[00:09:21] Scott Moran: or two years ago, technically. Mm-hmm. . I dunno why I put that off. It was fucking amazing. What was that? It's the Joel Kenman, it's Ron Moore who wrote Battle Story Galactica. It's his Apple TV show. Okay. It's like the Russians get to the moon first. Damn.

[00:09:39] Scott Moran: Just go on a bad, that's what you gotta do. You cancel one for a month that you know no one's gonna miss. That's not even

[00:09:52] Scott Moran: the series, it's cuz you have so many rules about how you have to watch something.

[00:10:01] Frank Roll: You just made this huge weight. I

[00:10:09] Frank Roll: needed to be more focused, everybody would just know that's bullshit.

[00:10:16] Frank Roll: giving me anxiety. Let's move on to the next. Wait,

[00:10:28] Scott Moran: And I don't have any trouble keeping all of the plot. No. It's just harder.

[00:11:01] Scott Moran: And then you start it and it's like, ugh. And then like every night you commit to that, just watch a bunch of stuff until something gets so good in your head. You're like, that's what I wanna do. I don't give a fuck. Because that's what happened with Yellow Jackets. We watched one episode and then like a two days later we'd watched all of it.

[00:11:19] Frank Roll: See that actually works out better where we watched it while it was happening, so we'd only have the one at a time. That's the other way to do, that's what works out better right now is if we can catch them when they

[00:14:24] Scott Moran: especially, no one was gonna go take you to see it when you were a kid. Mm-hmm. hell raiser though. I would've liked to see that in the theater. I thought that would've been good.

[00:14:38] Frank Roll: Oh, Jesus Christ. Okay, so there you go. I started the new, the latest Halloween and hell Ra Hellraiser and I got like halfway through both of them.

[00:14:49] Frank Roll: And to be honest with you, the new H. I wasn't feeling it that much. I really did. Like I understand

[00:15:00] Frank Roll: it. Yeah. Hell Razr. I'll go back and finish Halloween. I'll probably just keep trying to figure out where I turned it off.

[00:15:05] Scott Moran: liked hell Razr more than a Halloween, the new Halloween. I like the last 15 minutes of Halloween. A lot. ,

[00:15:18] Scott Moran: That's really why I put it on the list, because I think I've watched one that I remember well, the one I just watched.

[00:15:34] Frank Roll: Gotcha. Well, um, GIS Lane did not make my list. No, me neither. She didn't make my list. , I mean, really hunting Bigfoot, the one where they really got into, what made these people feel like they saw

[00:15:46] Scott Moran: Yeah. I wish I'd watched more Weird shit documentaries.

[00:16:07] Frank Roll: At one point in life, he was a multimillion. That's crazy. Who ran a clothing line and now the man lives in the woods stays with people

[00:16:24] Scott Moran: I don't know. Nothing stands out too big in my mind. But that Monopoly one on HBO O, did you ever watch that about the Monopoly scam? No, the McDonald's monopoly scam. Oh shit. With the mob and stuff. Oh, that shit, they were gonna win. Huh? That shit was really interesting, , because it was basically, if you thought it was rigged, you're right.

[00:16:45] Frank Roll: the mob. Well, um, and then I just into the deep submarine murder case on. That was just, and that's why the other one, dangerous Breed crime Cons, cats. It's people who are filming documentaries and something else happens while there's all this footage. Yeah, that's cool because it's documented.

[00:17:07] Scott Moran: speaking of that idea, I watched Vengeance. Did you loved it, right? Yeah. Um, didn't they? Maybe not my favorite. But Okay. Did they not nail

[00:17:22] Scott Moran: Oh, of the actors were great. Yes. His friend that meets them at that oil, dairy , that guy

[00:17:39] Scott Moran: one of those. Um, if you just moved here, you'll get one.

[00:17:45] Frank Roll: that guy coming up with little shots to the ribcage. Yeah. Nah, a little shot to the shoulder just to say what's

[00:17:59] Scott Moran: And you were like, one day he's gonna kick me

[00:18:04] Scott Moran: it confused. He did his fucking research so

[00:18:10] Scott Moran: that. Kelly looked up and was reading to me about how he, he didn't know anything about it going into it. He was just like, I would like to pick a place I don't know anything about.

[00:18:23] Frank Roll: and like Ashton Kutcher's role, how they nailed like that type of personality. Who finds themselves in West Texas because they're, Unique . Yeah. But no, cuz you got to West Texas now there's like the art scene, there's like overpriced, like mansions in the middle of the desert.

[00:18:45] Scott Moran: Yeah. Cause it was a little too, everyone gets along. Not as scary as I would've made Texas. Like when I think about Texas, that part of Texas mm-hmm. that he tackle. I think about Cormack

[00:18:57] Frank Roll: Well, those parts of Texas, people still leave their keys in their ignitions in their cars. When they go in places. The only thing that's changed is now they're all, we're so close to the border,

[00:19:14] Frank Roll: Yeah. No, BJ Novak did a great job. That was a good one. I didn't see shit

[00:19:21] Frank Roll: It's great. It was a good movie. When I looked it up, there was really nothing on it and I was like, well, I'm gonna watch

[00:19:30] Scott Moran: Was it really? I liked it. Ah, that was, dude, this was harder to pick. I, this was like the hardest one for me to pick was which conversation that we had was the funniest. , the one I enjoyed the

[00:19:50] Frank Roll: and like just listen to us to kind of remember what exactly we said in that episode. And I went through quite a few. And man, this one just, it had a lot. , it had a lot because this movie's so fucking

[00:20:07] Frank Roll: this.

[00:20:14] Scott Moran: well, that was back when I didn't know what I was doing as far as the mixing goes, so I think I probably listened to that one maybe like 10 times. Mm-hmm. before it ever came out. Yeah.

[00:20:26] Scott Moran: Jurassic, world Dominion. Really? . Yeah. Well I think that that one was just the best conversation about him. The movie? Mm-hmm. , because we didn't just talk about that movie, cuz that movie not great as far as I'm concerned. Mm-hmm. . But I felt like we had a really heartfelt conversation about Dr. Grant and his character and his place in our lives.

[00:20:53] Frank Roll: Okay, so the next one, biggest titles of 2022. This his titties. . Yeah. Scott sends me this PDF and I look at it and it's like biggest titties of 2022 and I was likes making sure he is paying attention.

[00:22:51] Scott Moran: Woods was a good, funny conversation cause we were at odds with each other a little bit. Yeah. Don't, cause I thought it was fine. I'll jump right back into Witches in

[00:22:58] Scott Moran: months, but it's the least listen to episode of this podcast, , because people are like, what the fuck is that?

[00:23:13] Frank Roll: Um, okay, so I had fault. Villains and Spree villains. That's exactly what I wrote. No way.

[00:23:56] Frank Roll: But no, those were all great. Um, I like that we, when we do come across the ones we haven't seen and they're good shit, that really works out well, doesn't

[00:24:03] Scott Moran: I like that Assassination Nation got me to watch euphoria too, because I just never thought that was something I. and I immensely enjoyed it. Then you did it. It was so good. I can't wait for more of that. What, uh, shows are you excited to come out? The Last of Us, the Last of Us is the thing I'm the most excited about.

[00:36:13] Scott Moran: Something to do, something to focus on and, uh, me to overwork myself with . That's, that's all I really want outta life, is to make stuff really ties the room. The room has improved since we did this. It actually looks like all this stuff fits in here now. I managed to put a bunch of furniture in here that doesn't all fit.
