The angel announced that the Savior had been born. This is great news, but Messiah “born?” This divine God encounter now seems so earthy and sensual, and that is just what it is. Born! The Trinity who gave life becomes one of us, not in some sanitary Amazon delivery box, but through the messy, real, needy, not-survivable-without-assistance process of being born.
Really?
