As we continue through the Slow Parenting Series, let's take a pause and go back to the basics. The purpose of slow parenting is to slow down and thoughtfully and purposefully plan what is next. Today we are talking about school age readiness! Here are some key points that I want you to take away from this episode:
You can go into things with a plan but also be prepared for those plans to change
Sometimes what is best is to unplug from researching and just be present
Keep the end in sight, you are not raising children but you are raising adults
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and child psychology and have spent my entire adult life working with children and families.
In this episode I share some ideas on how to best prepare your child for the academic, social, emotional, and physical aspects of full day school.
