Shownotes

Saturday, April 11th, 2020

There are no readings for Holy Saturday as such. There is no liturgy. There is

nothing.

And that’s what you might note about the spirit of today, and the spirit of

nature today. All is quiet. It’s not wonderful and its not terrible. It just is.

But nature is still good. And when we stop and appreciate creation for five,

ten, twenty minutes - and we should take time to do that today - it is quiet, but it is good. And solid.

Clearly then, even though Jesus of Nazareth is dead and sealed up in the tomb,

things are not over. God is not finished. He is still here, keeping the cosmos going,

and this is part of his plan.

Let us pray.

In silence.
