So I want you to aim as high as you can, as high as God is calling you to aim. And even if you don't get quite there, you'll get farther than you could have on your own, you'll get farther if you didn't have that big, audacious goal that God put on your heart because he knows you. He already knows where you're gonna go here, who knows how you're gonna get there? And without that big vision, you're not gonna get anywhere?
Do you want God's plan for your life? Do you want to discover your calling? Do you want to build a business that's aligned with God's will? Hey, girl, hey, I'm Jeanette. Business and faith coach, after a decade in the military, the Air Force said, See you later. And I had to find my true calling. Want to know how God directed my life from a cyber security engineer to a faith and business mentor? In this podcast, I'll teach you how to start a business, how to know your business as God's calling monetization techniques, how to trust the Holy Spirit? And how does that boundary so listen to His word alone, ready to become unapologetically unstoppable?
Hey, girl, hey. So I have been thinking about the things that you need in order to have a kingdom based business. So I know that we all have Kingdom based businesses around here, no matter what we're selling, or what offers we have, right? I just think there's some key components that every business has to have. So I am going to tell you about Okay, number one, as a kingdom business, you need to have a rhythm of prayer. Now, what does that mean? A rhythm of prayer just means you just need to have a regular type of prayer that you do with God, no matter what that looks like for your life. So there's a period in my life where I was taking the kids back to school, and I would pray in the car on the way home by myself, after I dropped them off. They're now homeschool. One of them's homeschooled, and one of them was still in daycare, but during that time would be my regular prayer for them. Because that's when I would be able to talk to God, because that's what it was, or when I was going to work, right? So I want you to think about what it is for you right now. I will wake up early, talk to God, work out and then wake up the rest of the family and yada yada, yada. But what does that do for you? What is that rhythm to get you in the right mindset to get you in the right mood to talk to God. So that way you know that your business, your thoughts, your life, the trajectory, the path that you're on aligns with his will. So you must have a prayer rhythm no matter what. Okay? So this is not just if you're a business owner, you need to have one of these anyways. But as Kingdom builders, we need to make sure that we're always talking to God and having that rhythm. Number two, we need to have a vision. And not only do we need to have a vision, we need to have a vision statement for our business, because we need to know where we're going. And not forget that because sometimes it's so easy to be like, Yeah, I want to lose 100 pounds, and then not ever do anything about it. Or just say one time, and then just, you know, just keep like, I'm just gonna walk today, I don't really feel like it today, I'm going to work out maybe maybe not. But to have that clear vision to have that clear thing that you're going after.
There's this quote that I like to say: it's like, you're never you might never reach, you might never get to the stars. But if you don't aim there, you'll never leave the ground.
So I want you to aim as high as you can, as high as God is calling you to aim. And even if you don't get quite there, you'll get farther than you could have on your own, you'll get farther if you didn't have that big, audacious goal that God put on your heart because he knows you. He already knows where you're gonna go here, he knows how you're going to get there. And without that big vision, you're not gonna get anywhere. Okay, number three systems, you got to have systems for scale, you have to have some type of way that you're doing something. And it doesn't need to be a tech system. It doesn't have to be on the computer, it could just be a process of what you're doing and how you're doing it. And it needs to be written down. Because if you're not writing your processes down, how can you ever grow and scale because nobody's gonna know what you're doing?
Or record it. That's what I do. I just will record the thing that I do, because that's easier for me to tell people and show people
than to write it down. But you need to have a system and it needs to be a documented process and procedure for your business. Otherwise, you can't hire anybody. You can't scale, you can't make any more money. You can't. You can't can't You can't. Okay. That's like step number one. So, number four, you need to have a financial plan. Right now I'm using a system called Profit First and through Profit First it teaches you how to set money aside for your operations. So
Have money aside for taxes, set money aside for you, all the different things in your business so that way you're watching exactly where the money's going, Are we red? Do we need to do something else? Do we need more sales? What do our sales look like? How long does it take, we need to have those things. So we have a financial plan of where we're going in the future, and we know what to cut and how to not cut things. And then number five, we need a sales and marketing plan. Because this is the business we need to be selling things. I don't know what it is you sell. But when you're selling something, you need to have a plan. What are you going to do once somebody says yes? Or do you have a sales script? What does sales look like for you? What does marketing look like for you? Are you marketing online? Are you marketing down the street? What are you doing? What is the thing that you're doing that is allowing you to make more money for the kingdom for whatever God is calling you to do.
And number six, client delivery. So if I was a product based business, I would make sure that all my notes were handwritten, I'd have this really cute bow on them, it'd be having this really cute like wrapping paper that goes in the box. All of that is very important to client delivery. I am a consultant. So for me, it's what a person needs, as soon as they start working with me, and what's the easiest way for them to get it, I use a lot of tech. And I know tech can be overwhelming for lots of people. So I want this to be the most streamlined process, the easiest process they've ever been through to onboard with me. So that way, they know, one, this, if onboarding was this easy. I know that Jeanette has her ish together, this is gonna be great.
And two, they're gonna be like, Yo, this was so easy. I want to replicate these systems in my business, because mine is not quite as streamlined.
So as Kingdom Business Builders, we need to be in prayer all the time, we need to have that rhythm. That's number one, we cannot forget who our Creator is, and what we're doing, then we need to connect with him to have his vision number two, and then three, we need to have those systems in place. So that way we can do good work and repeatable steps right with those SOPs, standard operating procedures and hire people and scale. Number four, we need a financial plan, we need to make sure that we know exactly where all the money is going, what it's doing. Is it working for us? Is it not working for us? Are we wasting money on things? Can we outsource these things? How much does that cost? All of that. Number five, we'd have a sales and marketing plan. And it doesn't have to be overly complicated. It just needs to have one. You need to have a script or whatever it is you're using to acquire more clients. So you can make more money. This is a business after all. And six, a client delivery plan, how are you going to deliver the product to the client? What is the product? How are you going to make it pretty? And how are you going to give it to the client? So I need you guys to be thinking about those six things that all Kingdom builders need to see next week.
