Duncan parallels the parable of the Prodigal Son to our Heavenly Father giving His “bios, His life, to us through His son, Jesus." Not only did the father in the story give his belongings to his sons, but he imparted his ways, his wisdom, his life. In the same way, God, our Father, instills in us His ways and the values of His kingdom.
