Grace gives an insight into what Narcissism, Sociopathy and Gaslighting is all about. Narcissism is having excessive need for affirmation, selfishness at a higher level and it's almost borderline adoration. They exploit others without guilt or shame; people are pawns used, to build them up. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a mental disorder characterised by life-long patterns of exaggerated feelings of self importance, to the degree you have no empathy for those around you. Narcissist are often great 'gaslighters', an interesting term, but basically they are causing you to question your perceptions, that your perceptions can't be right because their perception is right:: - 'playing mind games' with you. It is an emotional abuse.

Sociopathy is a personality disorder, a pattern of antisocial behaviours and attitudes, inclusive of deceit, manipulation, lack of empathy for others, aggression etc. It is related to socio-environmental factors. Sociopaths tend to be erratic, full of rage and most times find it difficult to lead a normal life. They are more lightly to be engaged in an abusive and controlling relationship.
