Here we talk about the important work Tove does with companies in Japan to better understand how to implement and communicate their company's SDG goals and mission. Her role is also to educate the customer on ways for it to improve the value of their brand by promoting what they are doing well in terms of sustainability and improving on what they could be doing better.
It's important to "choose your battles" and work with realities to influence incremental changes, not to overwhelm, or frustrate companies trying to learn about and improve sustainability factors. I have so much in common with Tove in terms of what I am trying to do with sustainability-focused consulting in the tourism and travel sector in Japan. It's wonderful to talk with someone else working in this important and growing field.
