Are you finding it hard to sell one-to-one or done with your services? Maybe you're feeling frustrated because social media doesn't seem to be working for you or maybe you're doing okay, but you're wondering how to get more clients to sign up for your services. If any of this sounds familiar, then you may want to invest in my business basics, content kit. It's a kit that I've created specifically for coaches,

::

consultants and service providers, and it contains all of the content that you need to sell a service. I'm Janet Murray, I'm a content and online business strategist. And if this sounds like music to your ears, then keep listening. Because in this short episode of the courageous content podcast, I'm going to tell you about my business basics content kits. So you can decide whether it could be a good investment for you and your business.

::

So, first off, what is the business basics, content kits? Well, it's exactly that it's a content kit, which contains fill in the gaps, copy templates for all the content. You need to look to service, including outreach emails that you can send to prospective clients, a thermos offer, AKA your sales copy for a one-to-one done for you or done with you,

::

service a template to create packages for your services. And yes, you absolutely do need them templates for social media, bios your about page. Copy on your website. If you have one and by the way, you don't need one to sell a service, but it's there. If you have one new clients, onboarding emails and content that will help you with sales calls,

::

not only getting people booked onto them, but also scripts and checklists that will help you to have a successful sales call and follow up with people. Afterwards, the kit comes with a comprehensive e-book it's about 4,000 words long, and an audio training that takes you to where the strategy you need to launch a service, including how to plan a launch for a new service or a new business tips on finding new clients,

::

how to find your business niche and answers to some of your burning questions. Like how should I price my services? And do I really need a website to sell a service? So what inspired me to create a kit? Because if you've been following me and all this podcast for a while, you'll know that my thing is content marketing, it's creative content.

::

Well, what really inspired me to create this resource is just seeing so many business owners where I felt like there was almost a missing piece, a piece of content training that needs to happen before you get to social media. Before you get to email marketing, before you start thinking about things like websites and SEO, and I was meeting so many business owners and often those who'd invested in quite expensive coaching and training who didn't have the basics in place in terms of how to get clients.

::

I was also seeing increasing numbers of business owners, trying to launch one too many products. So online courses, memberships, eBooks resource kits, when they were struggling to sell one-to-one services. And if you've listened to any previous episodes of this podcast, you'll have heard me say this so many times. It takes time and it takes effort to build an audience of this size to sell one to many.

::

So by that, I mean in hundreds or thousands, the average conversion rate for online sales is just one to 2%. So while it is possible to grow an audience at the size that you need to make a living solely by selling digital products, it's not going to happen overnight, which is why it is crucial to know the kind of content you need and how you need to go about sharing that content to make sure you've got enough money coming into your business,

::

through your services. And typically most people, when they start running a business online, they will be selling coaching consultancy done for you done with you services, training and learning how to do this type of content. The most important type of content is what ensures that you have enough leads and sales coming into your business to pay the bills. And it's that,

::

that frees you up to start building more of a one to many business. I've talked about this in many previous episodes, but the mistake a lot of business owners make particularly new business owners is that they spend most of their content time working on content that is not going to bring them clients for nine months, 12 months or beyond. I call it playing in the cold ring,

::

creating content for your cold audience. When what they really should be doing is focusing on content that will bring sales into their business this week, this month, next week, because that's what gives you the freedom to start to explore growing a one to many style business. And if you can't sell one-to-one coaching or training or some kind of done for you service on a specific topic,

::

you sure as hell, aren't going to be able to sell a digital product on that topic. One to many, because you don't yet have your basic content skills pinned down. So that's really where the idea came for this kit. I have another couple of episodes you might find useful to listen to. One of them is how to launch a one-to-one service.

::

I'll link to that in the show notes. And while you need to cause you really do another one is should you put your prices on your website and do you need a niche as a small business owner? The answer might surprise you. They're all episodes that I think will be particularly relevant. If you're interested in some of the topics I'm talking about. So who is the business basics content kit for?

::

Well, it's perfect for you. If you sell a service one-to-one done for you or done with you, if you're launching a new service and or a business in the next 90 days. And also if you just want to increase the sales of your services, is it applicable to you? If you have a product-based business? Well, I sell both products and services and I use exactly the same strategies for both the strategy behind it is the same,

::

the smaller your pool of potential customers or clients. The higher touch with content has to be even for products. So the key is primarily for service-based business owners, but if you have a product business, you could still learn a ton because the principles are exactly the same for a product business. So what's included in the kits from the gaps could be templates for outreach emails,

::

to prospective clients. If your service offer your service packages, social media bio is about page copy for your website. If you have one new client onboarding emails, sales calls, scripts, and checklists, and onboarding email sequences for your sales calls really is designed to save you time. And I've really thought of everything so that you don't have to. However it is important to understand the strategy behind it,

::

which is why it comes with this 4,000 word ebook and also an audio training. So if you like podcasts, and if you listen to this one, I'm guessing you probably do. It's a private podcast. So when you buy the kit, you'll get a link to subscribe to a private podcast. There are currently nine episodes that are super quick. You can get through the whole lot in less than an hour,

::

but it just really explains what's in the ebook and explains the different templates and how and why you might use them in a bit more detail. It is a self study kit though. So if you're looking for more personalized advice, it's better to reach out for me about working. One-to-one with me is a self study kit. So how much is it? The headline price is 97,

::

but as a podcast listener, you may be in time to grab the special podcast listeners discount, just use the code podcast, 67 that's podcast, 67, and it's called the business basics content kit. And I will link to that in the show notes, in terms of return on investment, the kit is also included along with all of my content kits in my creators club,

::

which is an annual membership. It's an online community. I won for entrepreneurs and course creators. So if you've been thinking of working with me for a while, then it would certainly be a better return on investment to invest in the club because you can do that with my special podcast discount for 4 47 for an annual membership, use the discount code podcast 4, 4 7.

::

Both of those cases I've shared are guaranteed as valid for 90 days after this podcast going live. And it's going live in mid April in 2022. So how is the content delivered to you in the business basics content kit? Well, the templates are quite literally fill in the gaps. So just to take an onboarding sequence for a new client, as an example,

::

you get a document that has filling the gaps templates for a sequence of three to four emails. In this case, this will be the series of emails you send to somebody. When they say yes, they want to work with you and you would send them some emails with that. Next steps could even include how to pay you. And these are all based on the templates I've created to sell at my aim services over at the year.

::

So they're tried and tested and will save you a ton of time. When you buy the kits, you'll get a confirmation email, which will give you a login to the members area of my website, where my content kits are hosted. That's where you'll be able to download your ebook and get access to the kit resources. You'll get another email inviting you to subscribe to the private podcast.

::

So look out for an email from captivate that our podcast haste, and that's where we host this private podcast. A few questions before we finish up, I have been asked whether using content templates is copying. I don't think it is because you're not copying someone else's work or you certainly shouldn't be. You're using the templates I provide as a framework to stop you overthinking and just get on and start caring for some of the more functional contents.

::

So things like onboarding emails for sales calls, you might want to stick fairly closely to the templates and doing that will save you a ton of time with other types of content. And certainly over time, you'll find that you start to adapt it more to your own style and voice. And absolutely I would recommend that you do that. Will you see a return on investment?

::

Well, that's up to you. I think I've shared this on the podcast before, but somebody asked me recently whether my strategies were guaranteed, they were talking about a product they were thinking of investing in. I said, well, my strategies are guarantees. I could give you a ton of case studies of people. Who've had great results from this particular products.

::

The bit that isn't tried and tested as you. So I can't guarantee the results that you'll get for my business basics, content care, because I don't know what you're going to do with those resources. If you read the ebook and listen to the podcast and you implement my advice, then sure. You're likely to get good results. If you don't implement my advice,

::

if you only implement the bits that suit you, maybe your results won't be so good. But unfortunately I can't make guarantees because my strategy is proven. You're not. And I say that honestly, because I'm not somebody that would ever make false promises. And the other thing as well is that there is no magic solution. If my business basics content kit or any of my other kids could solve all of your business problems,

::

then I would already have wiped out the whole of the business coaching industry because it wouldn't need to access to everyone would just need to buy it my care. And I do think it's unrealistic to expect that investing in one was always going to solve all of your problems consistently through my time in business, I've invested in lots of different programs and coaching and courses and still keep doing so,

::

even though I'm now a lot more experienced than when I started out, but with this kit, I guess it's worth bearing in mind that even if you didn't implement the strategy, which obviously I hope you do, you'll be saving yourself a ton of time because there's about 10,000 words of copy in the kit and to create all of that from scratch. Well,

::

it would take you days to do that. And you'd also need to know what exactly it was that you needed to create. I've done all the thinking for you. So I think it's unlikely. You wouldn't get an investment as long as you use the kit. So I hope you found that helpful as ever. I do love hearing from you. And if you do have a question about one of my products or services,

::

it's always best to email @ janetandjanetmurray.co.uk. And my team will be happy to answer any questions that you've got. We know that it's a big decision to invest in any learning resource or training product, which is why we are always happy to help. And no question is too silly or too small. It's all good. And if this episode has encouraged you to invest in the business basics content kit,

::

then there is a link to the kit in the show notes of this episode. And don't forget to use your podcast 67 or podcast 4 47 voucher code. If you're listening within 90 days of this podcast going live.
