Shownotes

New York City’s Balthazar is now one of the most recognizable restaurants in the city, but the story behind it started with a photo, a flea market, and an idea Keith McNally could not shake. He was not a chef or a restaurant expert. He simply had a vision for a space that could become something beautiful.

But the process was anything but smooth. Leaks, delays, costly problems, rebuilt pieces, and plenty of moments that did not go according to plan. And still, something lasting came from it. Maybe that is the tension in our own lives too: when God gives us a direction, are we willing to trust Him through the messy process before we see the finished picture?

Scripture (NIV):

Philippians 1:6 — “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Reflection Questions:

Is there a vision or direction in your life that feels unfinished right now?

How do you keep trusting God when the process looks messier than you expected?
