Speaker:

Dan Mangena ladies and gentlemen, conscious conversations with that, man.

Speaker:

come right up on the screen.

Speaker:

Oh yeah.

Speaker:

You know, listen, it it's all about, about the man who has the view or the sea of

Speaker:

Cortez, not the man who has the view of the yard that needs to be trimmed outside.

Speaker:

So it's not about that right now.

Speaker:

It's all about you rather.

Speaker:

How are you, man?

Speaker:

How are you?

Speaker:

Yeah, what is today?

Speaker:

I find been missing our conversations.

Speaker:

We missing these conversations.

Speaker:

Well, you know, you you've been, you've been jet setting.

Speaker:

You you've been all over the globe.

Speaker:

You've put more, more, uh, stamps in your passport in probably the

Speaker:

last month than, than I did in my first, uh, you know, 18 years.

Speaker:

But that's okay.

Speaker:

That's okay.

Speaker:

I'm going to Disneyland soon.

Speaker:

How about, does that count?

Speaker:

it does count.

Speaker:

It does count.

Speaker:

It's a magical place.

Speaker:

It, it, it is.

Speaker:

It's looking, it's going be fun, actually flying out tomorrow there going with the

Speaker:

family and some extended family and laws.

Speaker:

So, um, I'm everybody, everybody excited for the adventure?

Speaker:

Well, they're probably are they, they might be watching.

Speaker:

I, so I, I, I must say yes, we're excited about it.

Speaker:

I'm just, I'm not excited about the, the, uh, the administrative parts of it.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And, and, and kind of the, the logistical pieces walking around.

Speaker:

Being around a whole bunch of people.

Speaker:

I, I, I believe it or not.

Speaker:

I don't like people don't say it.

Speaker:

Don't say I, I don't, I, I don't, I'm not a, I mean, you were gonna

Speaker:

say something I'm in the service industry, I'm a content creator.

Speaker:

I, you know, I, I go live and do those things, but man, every once in a while,

Speaker:

okay.

Speaker:

I okay.

Speaker:

I'll, I'll leave it at that.

Speaker:

It it'll be fine.

Speaker:

It'll be, it'll be wonderful to be able to spend some time with everyone as, as I try

Speaker:

to backed in anything, I may said don't don't, don't, don't call it in negative.

Speaker:

Don't call it negative.

Speaker:

Yes, don't do.

Speaker:

This is conscious conversations.

Speaker:

This is this not ity.

Speaker:

And you know, we, we are always looking to build up instead of build down

Speaker:

capital C uh, eh, whatever it is,

Speaker:

see the technology.

Speaker:

See, and here's Jim with big words, the technological reclused.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

Hold on.

Speaker:

Let me, let me fix these comments and they don't need to be that.

Speaker:

Okay, there we go.

Speaker:

Appreciate you for joining, sir.

Speaker:

Appreciate you for joining welcome member of the community.

Speaker:

I, I, I put I'm, I'm pretty active on Twitter.

Speaker:

I am, and I I've got a, I got a phenomenal community on Twitter.

Speaker:

I, I told them that I'm actually planning to be in, um, Dallas, Dallas, Texas.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm in, uh, when, August, I think, I can't remember when I

Speaker:

said what I gonna plan a meetup.

Speaker:

I wanna, I want to meet people that are with are part of the community

Speaker:

who can make it to, to let's.

Speaker:

This is there you go.

Speaker:

See you for the, the non to people person.

Speaker:

I got the first round of whatever, as, as long as it's under 4 99.

Speaker:

I'm I I'll chip in.

Speaker:

Well, as long as it's not gas, it should be okay.

Speaker:

Exactly.

Speaker:

I I'm not buying you a gallon.

Speaker:

The gas, I.

Speaker:

It'll be cheaper to buy you a steak dinner than to fill your tanks up.

Speaker:

So, uh, you know, there you go.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

That's that's what I'm going to do.

Speaker:

So yeah.

Speaker:

Look looking to doing that.

Speaker:

Maybe mm-hmm okay.

Speaker:

I'm feeling, I'm feeling that I'm feeling, you know, you're you're,

Speaker:

you're given master classes.

Speaker:

You're you're given, uh, high level consults with seven, eight figure people.

Speaker:

Oh yeah.

Speaker:

That's right.

Speaker:

Seven, eight.

Speaker:

Now forget the six figure people.

Speaker:

They're they're, you know, they're run of the mill.

Speaker:

So I, I at least need to make sure when I go to a different location, different

Speaker:

venue to, to meet and engage and interact.

Speaker:

So Dallas and then in, I can't give all my travel secrets away.

Speaker:

I don't want people coming to my house.

Speaker:

Um, then in October.

Speaker:

Well, but, but I'm not gonna tell you that date going to probably going to Miami.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Going to Miami.

Speaker:

I was hoping you were, I hop.

Speaker:

I was hoping you were gonna say, I'm gonna surprise you in sharper

Speaker:

alchemy of abundance in car.

Speaker:

That's.

Speaker:

When is the date?

Speaker:

When is that date?

Speaker:

Again?

Speaker:

14th to the 16th of October might still be to make, how is my guest?

Speaker:

My how's my guest, not just any guest as my VIP guest.

Speaker:

Come on now.

Speaker:

Come on.

Speaker:

Now, the man who is named sunset drinks, we're gonna have some

Speaker:

sun on the Thursday on Friday.

Speaker:

We're gonna have a beach dinner.

Speaker:

Yeah, beach dinner outside the, the, and on the Saturday, we're gonna

Speaker:

do a, a Moonlight open air dinner.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

ATRAY they do the set menu.

Speaker:

We get the cocktails going on.

Speaker:

Yeah, VIP.

Speaker:

We look after the VIP guests come along.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So listen.

Speaker:

The economy reflection.

Speaker:

See you, you, you you're outside of the states right now.

Speaker:

You've got no excuses.

Speaker:

I, I don't, I don't listen.

Speaker:

So, so shout out to my mom here.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

She said, look, can't in Miami.

Speaker:

If I can't make my mom will make it.

Speaker:

She, she got her bags already packed.

Speaker:

She, she stayed.

Speaker:

Ready.

Speaker:

Um, let, let me see.

Speaker:

We might, I might be able to work that out.

Speaker:

I might be, we might be able to work that out.

Speaker:

We got enough travel points.

Speaker:

Take I'll.

Speaker:

I'll get Amy to get you topped up.

Speaker:

Come on now and see it it's recorded.

Speaker:

So you can't go back.

Speaker:

I, I can, I can replay this back.

Speaker:

No problem.

Speaker:

But you haven't been sipping in the, in the tequila just yet there.

Speaker:

And I, I know it's got your name on the, this, this is the real Jesus juice water.

Speaker:

H 20 . It's not that wine.

Speaker:

It's not that wine.

Speaker:

No, no, no, no, no, not that Jesus juice.

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

Listen folks, as, as you know, conscious conversations with Mr.

Speaker:

Dan Mank and we do this, we try to do it every two weeks, but you know,

Speaker:

schedules are, look, life gets in.

Speaker:

there.

Speaker:

There's and, and that's not a bad thing.

Speaker:

We we've both got a lot of things going on.

Speaker:

You've been traveling, I've been traveling.

Speaker:

We've been getting back out there in the world.

Speaker:

Talk to us a little bit about what you've been doing, man.

Speaker:

I'm I'm curious.

Speaker:

And I'm selfishly wondering to know, because I I've seen all these

Speaker:

incredibly cool pictures that you've been posting mm-hmm so you, you are

Speaker:

doing something somewhere on this planet and you are living your best life.

Speaker:

Talk to us a little bit about you just soaking that up and, and enjoying time

Speaker:

with family, wherever that may be.

Speaker:

You don't have to get into specifics.

Speaker:

I don't, I don't want any GPS tracking on you, but then, ah, no, I mean, the

Speaker:

thing is, is that, um, you know, when you've got a formula, a formulate way

Speaker:

of approaching how you create your life.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

You can wake up today with a new thing that you wanna change into

Speaker:

and you can go make that happen.

Speaker:

But when you are.

Speaker:

Allowing yourself to be at the whims of the winds of fate, then you're

Speaker:

always gonna be subject to whatever the changing tides of reality are.

Speaker:

So for example, we have people now freaking out about the current

Speaker:

financial situation going on in a lot of the markets and I don't care.

Speaker:

I'm good.

Speaker:

Why?

Speaker:

Because I wasn't, I, I wasn't, I was making hay while the sun was signing.

Speaker:

Number one, and number two, I don't leave my personal financial situation

Speaker:

at the whims of crazy decisions made by central banks and whatever the thing

Speaker:

is, or I, I don't, I don't do that.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

And so, as a result, you know, Like, oh my God.

Speaker:

Bitcoin is crashing.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So yeah, that, that has been pretty prominent in the, uh, that's

Speaker:

brutal, been brutal in the news.

Speaker:

Like it has, it has been brutal.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I, I have to say, I did take, I did turn off my Coinbase alerts cuz every

Speaker:

single morning it's like, good morning.

Speaker:

Bitcoin's done another 20%.

Speaker:

I good morning.

Speaker:

You just lost another X number of dollars.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

You know, and then you get someone like a bill gates in it's all Bitcoin and

Speaker:

NFT has Evolv been a sham ever since the beginning, like, oh my goodness.

Speaker:

It's just, yeah.

Speaker:

I mean, but when you look at what's going on, I mean let's talk a little bit real.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Just go online, go over to the, I think it's website the con the capital hill,

Speaker:

the Congress website, and look at the bills that they're working on right now.

Speaker:

There's a bipartisan built being worked on right now, bipartisan,

Speaker:

which has got across the aisle, acceptance engagement and support about

Speaker:

regulating the cryptocurrency industry.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm mm-hmm . you have trillions upon trillions upon trillions

Speaker:

of institutional money, waiting to come in and wet their beaks.

Speaker:

You may call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't think it's that big, a shock

Speaker:

that on the cusp of new legislation, that's gonna allow institutional

Speaker:

money to enter into the market.

Speaker:

All of a sudden moves that, bring this big, a drop can only be done with

Speaker:

money that can move this bigger drop mm-hmm . That's an interesting point.

Speaker:

So let's say, for example, let's say for example, I've got a billion

Speaker:

dollars worth of, uh, a Bitcoin.

Speaker:

And I say to you, yo Jay here's 700 execute and buy my Bitcoin less.

Speaker:

and, you know, keep a little bit for yourself, right?

Speaker:

We're gonna, we're gonna, now all of a sudden the price drops, but it's a

Speaker:

temporary balance sheet hit for the people that are now taking their institutional

Speaker:

money that they've now got access to, that can come in because of the legislation.

Speaker:

And they're gonna be picking up stuff on a bargain at 20% of high, and then their

Speaker:

purchasing is gonna push the price route.

Speaker:

And then all of the limitings that follow the crowd, I need

Speaker:

to buy back into Bitcoin.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And then they're gonna offload a little bit, the price triples.

Speaker:

They offload a little bit, they recover their costs.

Speaker:

They ride the wave and then Bitcoin does what it is gonna do over, which is goes

Speaker:

wherever it was gonna go, because it is a limited commodity where every four

Speaker:

years they reduce on top of the fact that there was a limited amount of it anyway.

Speaker:

And anybody who wants to call Bitcoin a sham.

Speaker:

Read the book, the book Bitcoin standard and see the truth about the fact

Speaker:

that Fiat currency is the real scam.

Speaker:

Oh, okay.

Speaker:

Now am I saying that Bitcoin is literal necessarily the answer?

Speaker:

No, but what I'm saying is is that the, the dog and pony show that is

Speaker:

Fiat currency, which has no value apart from the value that it's a fear

Speaker:

that's used to keep people using it, then you'll see where the real Sam is.

Speaker:

Bitcoin standard.

Speaker:

That's the book right there.

Speaker:

Here it is.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I'm a Kindle.

Speaker:

So I'm, I, I can still get the same experience from the audio book.

Speaker:

I'm an audio book guy.

Speaker:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker:

You can audio book or you can Kindle, you can do whatever the thing is.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Then I'll, I'll take that.

Speaker:

But the guy, the guy, the author of this book literally breaks down

Speaker:

the history of money completely.

Speaker:

Dispasionately.

Speaker:

And objectively from the tr from them selling glass, using glass as currency

Speaker:

in the, in the, the Pacific ISDs, from losing seashells in, uh, in, in west

Speaker:

Africa all the way back to shown how, how they've been printing money, how in

Speaker:

ancient room, they started printing money by shaving off the size of the coins.

Speaker:

Like all of the scams that the central banks are doing right now have been

Speaker:

happening for thousands of years.

Speaker:

And this man gives you history that you can go and research

Speaker:

and check for yourself.

Speaker:

It's been going on.

Speaker:

Interesting.

Speaker:

Interesting.

Speaker:

And here's the other one you were talking about?

Speaker:

The Fiats.

Speaker:

I did.

Speaker:

I the, so the Fiat standard, I haven't read this one, but the Fiat Fiat

Speaker:

currency, which is your dollars, your euros, your pounds, your yen, your Yuan.

Speaker:

It's not linked to anything and I'm gonna get into some trouble about this.

Speaker:

Oh, oh.

Speaker:

But my feeling is that Russia who have been buying gold.

Speaker:

For a very long time, the Russian Rubal actually has the capacity for

Speaker:

more value than us dollar because the Russians have enough gold to

Speaker:

back their currency and make it real.

Speaker:

That is true.

Speaker:

That is true.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

And we thought that the sanctions were gonna slow them down, but they've

Speaker:

actually been making more money.

Speaker:

All they did was they went to the rest of the world and they said, Hey, let's

Speaker:

leave the dollars out of the transactions.

Speaker:

We've got gas, we've got oil.

Speaker:

Do you wanna do business?

Speaker:

All he needs to do now is spin around and put the gold standard on his currency.

Speaker:

It's gonna have more real value than the us dollar man.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

It's crazy.

Speaker:

Come on now.

Speaker:

See there, there we go.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

We a little history, economics.

Speaker:

Sociology.

Speaker:

not 1 0 1.

Speaker:

This is 2 0 1.

Speaker:

This, this is mid-tier right here with, with Manina.

Speaker:

So I'm gonna definitely check those books out for sure.

Speaker:

But, uh, yeah, you you're right.

Speaker:

It's an interesting time for sure.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

Just.

Speaker:

From a financial perspective, economic perspective.

Speaker:

What, what is, what is good?

Speaker:

What's not good.

Speaker:

And what's what's right.

Speaker:

I, I mm-hmm , I don't know.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

I, I'm not smart enough or I, I, I choose to be aware of what

Speaker:

I need to be aware of, I guess.

Speaker:

Um, you know, I, I, I know what affects me and my, my sphere of influence my

Speaker:

family and, and, you know, my close associates, things of that nature.

Speaker:

But, uh, we, we started talking about big Bitcoin.

Speaker:

We started talking about crypto, things like that.

Speaker:

I, I haven't put as much of my portfolio into that.

Speaker:

I'm, I'm still slightly hesitant to mm-hmm, dive into that as

Speaker:

some of my counterparts are.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Why that's thing to me, that's a smart thing to know.

Speaker:

Cause at the end of the day, if you don't feel comfortable, don't don't do it.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

It comfort.

Speaker:

It's it's not, it's still pretty, pretty, um, Wild west, right?

Speaker:

When, when you think about it and just the fluctuation, the regulation will help.

Speaker:

And this is where the, the regulation will help.

Speaker:

Cause it will help stabilize things out because you will

Speaker:

get that institutional money.

Speaker:

They will start trading different securities like

Speaker:

EFTs and whatnot against it.

Speaker:

And you'll get a stabilization and you'll get that steady rise.

Speaker:

But the fact of the matter is, is that like what gold was, is what

Speaker:

Bitcoin can be as a store of value.

Speaker:

That is rare.

Speaker:

That is safe, that's secure and completely independent.

Speaker:

I think that was the point always.

Speaker:

I mean, I think that was, well, I think that was part of the point anyway.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

Mm-hmm um, seems like it's coming to fruition sooner than, than a lot of folks

Speaker:

may have anticipated, uh, than a lot of folks on the outside may have anticipated.

Speaker:

I think the folks on the inside wanted this to happen.

Speaker:

Um, whatever it is to wanted it to happen, right?

Speaker:

Just, um, the, the movement and the, the movement of those livings, as you were

Speaker:

saying, the removement of the folks who are only half baked into the system and

Speaker:

aren't are true diehards of, of this, um, new alternative currency model.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm when, when it's on CNBC, I look at it like, okay, now it's real.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And ever since it's been there, cuz this TV right here stays

Speaker:

locked on that channel, uh, then you start paying attention to it.

Speaker:

So, uh, you know, there there's, we'll see, we'll see.

Speaker:

I'm I'm still keeping a indeed I'm keeping a, a, a sub 10%.

Speaker:

Of the, of the couple of nickels that I've got, you know, cuz the kids have

Speaker:

the that's where you need it to be anyway, that's the way you need it.

Speaker:

You know?

Speaker:

Well, well the kids have the rest and yeah.

Speaker:

And my wife just takes anything else.

Speaker:

But, but yeah, the kids have she, listen, she's not in trouble.

Speaker:

Well, she might be watching I oh my gosh.

Speaker:

Yes, dear.

Speaker:

Just between me and you.

Speaker:

Yeah, just, just between you, you, me and these and anybody who might

Speaker:

snitch oh no, but let me see here.

Speaker:

Have, have you subscribe?

Speaker:

Oh, oh forgot.

Speaker:

I got, got comments going shots out to the moderators that are work.

Speaker:

Appreciate you for sure.

Speaker:

Um, you were doing a, were you writing another book or were you doing another

Speaker:

class since the last time we talked there, there was something on the calendar

Speaker:

that, that had you, you locked in, it's a class, it was a class, it was a class.

Speaker:

I was gonna write another book and then I realized that.

Speaker:

um, we've done.

Speaker:

I don't know about five, 6,000 copies of the money game, but under

Speaker:

intention, I wanted to get a good 10,000 copies of that before I even

Speaker:

start thinking about another book.

Speaker:

And so I've got the book deal to republish that book under Simon and Schuster.

Speaker:

So we're working on that right now.

Speaker:

All being well, we get the new copy of that out this year.

Speaker:

Then when that's hits some potential, then I'm gonna sit down

Speaker:

and put the work into another book.

Speaker:

You got a working, not title, but you got a working subject matter, is it?

Speaker:

Yeah, we'll see.

Speaker:

I mean, I'm heavily into the filmmaking right now.

Speaker:

I'm gonna be in France next month filming.

Speaker:

Um, Filming the last bits for manifestation.

Speaker:

We want to get that out in the summer.

Speaker:

I'm exec producer on, uh, abundance studios, next film, black Swan,

Speaker:

Chris, the Chris Vos documentary.

Speaker:

I'm an exec producer on that film.

Speaker:

So what I'm kind of looking at doing is when black Swan is out,

Speaker:

I'm gonna ride that wave and then drop manifestation shortly after.

Speaker:

Got you.

Speaker:

And then, um, that one's a shorter film.

Speaker:

It's like 30, 40 minutes on the final cut.

Speaker:

So the plan is, um, some of the other film ideas we've got were

Speaker:

they're gonna be a bit more, they're gonna take a lot longer to get cuz

Speaker:

you know, moving between different countries, getting different people.

Speaker:

So we're probably gonna work on three or four different projects at the same time.

Speaker:

And I'm kind of gonna look at those film products and see which one of

Speaker:

those lends itself to put some energy into putting pen to paper on a book.

Speaker:

So we just keep everything kind of together.

Speaker:

That's the.

Speaker:

That's where I'm at at the moment.

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

Let me ask you this man.

Speaker:

And see, this is, it always turns into like me interviewing you.

Speaker:

We'll get back to just the round, the, around the coffee table or conversations,

Speaker:

but branching off and doing, I'm gonna call it more entertainment, but you know,

Speaker:

branching off and doing more film as opposed to leading conferences, standing

Speaker:

in front of the room, giving, giving, giving, uh, speeches and, and giving, you

Speaker:

know, dialogue and things of that nature.

Speaker:

What what's that like, man?

Speaker:

Cause it it's, it's a whole different skills.

Speaker:

I think it's a different side of the brain too, that, that you're utilizing.

Speaker:

What, what's it like going from standing in front of a motivational session

Speaker:

seminar, people have paid to come see you and you're, and you're giving

Speaker:

them, uh, tips and tricks and best practices to now sitting in that producer

Speaker:

chair mm-hmm filming and helping out with a feature film type of thing.

Speaker:

What what's what's that whole experience been like for you?

Speaker:

it's been awesome because I'm, you know, I'm, I'm a firm believer like

Speaker:

you in the student mindset, like I'm always looking at what can I learn?

Speaker:

What can I get from this, uh, to expand me and grow me versus how can

Speaker:

I be Johnny big Sox in this situation?

Speaker:

And so my mentor film front is 11 time, Emmy award winner, Nick Naton,

Speaker:

he's done some very powerful movies.

Speaker:

Um, you know, he really takes time to pour into us that, that, you know, around him.

Speaker:

And that's been absolutely awesome on the speaking front again, I've had

Speaker:

some very, very great mentors who I get to learn from and see an action

Speaker:

and, and, and, and take take from.

Speaker:

So, you know, it's been and continues to be a learning process.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Um, up until now, it's been very much, you know, just doing my own

Speaker:

thing in, you know, more training and teaching than hardcore keying.

Speaker:

We we've done that a few times, but we're moving into that a lot more aggressively.

Speaker:

I've actually got some, um, some training I invested, you know, tens of thousands

Speaker:

in, you know, good coaching around that to make sure that that's all done.

Speaker:

And now moving into 20, 23, especially when we get the book

Speaker:

out under the actual publisher.

Speaker:

Mm.

Speaker:

And get that on.

Speaker:

Whether it's a USA today, a wall shoot journal, maybe even New York times, cuz it

Speaker:

will qualify now because of the publisher.

Speaker:

Then I wanna really go and hit hard on doing those keynotes, going into

Speaker:

organizations, going into universities, going into workplaces and just

Speaker:

sharing this work about abundance.

Speaker:

I'm really excited about that.

Speaker:

But to your point, it's been a great learning experience and continues

Speaker:

to be a great learning experience.

Speaker:

And I love getting to be a beginner with it.

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

You mentioned the difference between training and teaching.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

What is that to you?

Speaker:

What, what, what, what is the difference?

Speaker:

Um, what's the delineation of, of being a trainer versus a teacher?

Speaker:

I.

Speaker:

when you're training, you're taking people towards a specific outcome.

Speaker:

Mm.

Speaker:

And when I'm teaching, I'm taking people towards a specific understanding.

Speaker:

Come on now, let's boys.

Speaker:

Y'all y'all need to pay for this.

Speaker:

We, we, we, we hold on.

Speaker:

We , I, we can't just be giving this stuff away for free, man.

Speaker:

I, I brought the man to the, to the screen.

Speaker:

Y'all better.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Say, say that, say that one more time.

Speaker:

For the people in the back of the room, man training, I'm taking them

Speaker:

to a specific outcome teaching.

Speaker:

I'm taking them to a different, a specific understanding.

Speaker:

God I just needed.

Speaker:

Do you could teach somebody something like you could teach the man what

Speaker:

fishing is, but teaching them how to apply the fishing and what to do with

Speaker:

the fish is a different situation.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Very good.

Speaker:

Okay, cool.

Speaker:

That's I, I, this, this is selfishly, this, this is.

Speaker:

This is all for me.

Speaker:

I, I, you see, I got the pin in my hand, right?

Speaker:

I, I got the iPad here.

Speaker:

Take, I got my notes.

Speaker:

I Notability is open.

Speaker:

That's just what I'm doing.

Speaker:

I'm I'm soaking this all in, got my soft music playing in the background.

Speaker:

I got Dan man talking and a cup of coffee

Speaker:

Now, if the, if the Celtics end up winning tonight, then all is

Speaker:

gonna be good for me tonight.

Speaker:

But, uh, I dunno if that's gonna happen.

Speaker:

Um, yeah.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Very cool.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

This is just a different, it's just like my intention, like when I'm

Speaker:

doing a, for example, if I'm doing like the of abundance workshop,

Speaker:

which we are gonna have you on.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Coming down to that workshop, I'm spending the three days taking people through

Speaker:

my seven pillars around Al chemically, creating the life that you want.

Speaker:

But in three days, it's highly unlikely that I'm gonna be able to train

Speaker:

you to properly apply all of those.

Speaker:

And so for the most part, what we are looking to do with that work.

Speaker:

Is to create those shifts, those disruptions so that you can go off and

Speaker:

do the work yourself, or maybe you come and hang out with us and do some more

Speaker:

training going forward to apply that like on the 35th gym, we've got my,

Speaker:

uh, money DNA workshop during the three hour workshop, I'm gonna break meeting

Speaker:

beliefs around the idea that doing it, the cookie cutter away is gonna work for you.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm . And then when people come and join us for the boot camp, or

Speaker:

they're coming to micro to millions, we start looking at applying those

Speaker:

five principles of the money, da and start looking at, okay.

Speaker:

So vehicle, I know what the vehicle is now.

Speaker:

He taught me that.

Speaker:

Now he's going to train me on how to apply that in my own situation.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And that's the difference?

Speaker:

So that is the 30th, uh, yeah.

Speaker:

30th of June.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

30th is June.

Speaker:

And all, all of the sessions, are they remote or are they,

Speaker:

are they have opportunities to actually physically come to cobble?

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So money, DNA is only a day.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

That's virtual that's you can't just have people rolling.

Speaker:

Can't just have people rolling up on that's virtual workshop.

Speaker:

That's a, so we do that virtually and we do the thing, but you know, I have people,

Speaker:

um, oh, my people come down to people, come down to the, um, come down to car.

Speaker:

I mean, like we do the alchemy of abundance.

Speaker:

We do that one.

Speaker:

That one's the one in, uh, in October for people to come down very reasonable.

Speaker:

You know, you can, that's a little trailer.

Speaker:

We've got the trailer of the ones we've been doing.

Speaker:

Like that suit, you know, we do that, man.

Speaker:

No, man.

Speaker:

Thank you that, yeah, I'm had to get my, make sure my suit is ready.

Speaker:

You know, I don't know if I can fit into it, so.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

But , and that's not even 600 bucks to come and spend three days.

Speaker:

That's good.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

That's see.

Speaker:

So there there's no excuse there's there's no, there's no excuse.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

There's and we've got, we've got a room blocking the, the, the hotel that we use.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

We've got a run block.

Speaker:

It's all inclusive.

Speaker:

So you can get your swimming and get your drink on in the hotel.

Speaker:

You know, we, we, we, you, you you've done this before.

Speaker:

You, you, this is not your first time around the block.

Speaker:

I love okay.

Speaker:

Radio.

Speaker:

I had, my first workshop was the 15th of July, 2018.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

Doing this work.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And we've been, we've been to Mota.

Speaker:

We've been to Mount Shasta.

Speaker:

We've been to Italy multiple times.

Speaker:

We've been to, um,

Speaker:

Good Lord.

Speaker:

We have, we've been in California.

Speaker:

I, you got all these stamps in the passport.

Speaker:

You don't even know where been.

Speaker:

We shout out to you, miss PO.

Speaker:

We see.

Speaker:

Thank you for joining know, Dan is just, you know, he's just telling us all the

Speaker:

places on, on, on the, what is it?

Speaker:

The old Thompson guy.

Speaker:

Was that what it was?

Speaker:

He thought that he's been, I just dated myself, you know, but oh, wow.

Speaker:

yeah.

Speaker:

We're enjoying life.

Speaker:

We're enjoying life.

Speaker:

People have been able to enjoy their life too.

Speaker:

Got too.

Speaker:

Yeah, we used to do this as a live stream that people could

Speaker:

live, stream it from home, but it was really disrupting the flow.

Speaker:

So what we're saying is you can buy the replay afterwards or you can come

Speaker:

and hang out in Mexico and, uh, and hang out, live and, uh, be in it.

Speaker:

There it is in person.

Speaker:

Tickets start at 5 97.

Speaker:

I'll put this in the description.

Speaker:

So, uh, did I see snacks?

Speaker:

Look, look at that free coffee and snacks.

Speaker:

That's all you, why didn't you just, you could have led with that.

Speaker:

We do lunch as well.

Speaker:

We, we give you you a lunch.

Speaker:

It's all about snacks, lunch.

Speaker:

We've got lunch buffet or whatever.

Speaker:

No, we snack.

Speaker:

When you get the snack, our pizza, we do, we do the, we do the nice dinners.

Speaker:

Like I said, we're doing, um, on the beach.

Speaker:

So the, the higher that is right on the beach, the hotel that we

Speaker:

use, beautiful beach sea of Corts.

Speaker:

We do the evening dinner on the beach with the lights and they bring the three course

Speaker:

meal with the wines and all the things.

Speaker:

And you lit.

Speaker:

All right, well, you know, just in case you need to stand in or

Speaker:

something, I, I will be, I will be properly prepared in case you.

Speaker:

You know, you, the B covered hang there.

Speaker:

Like I said, like I said, like I said, just, just come down, be my favorite

Speaker:

P come the dentist, come hang out.

Speaker:

I'm just saying, I'm gonna throw that out there.

Speaker:

Case the B stage needs someone to give a keynote.

Speaker:

I, I can, I can pro I can repair and I can, I can make myself presentable.

Speaker:

I'm just gonna throw that out.

Speaker:

I believe you can.

Speaker:

I believe you can.

Speaker:

So we prob probably probably will.

Speaker:

Uh, it's a high probability right there.

Speaker:

Uh, just like, I need to check with the check with the misses

Speaker:

and see, see what we got going on.

Speaker:

We're we're in the midst of both kids, stark college, their

Speaker:

moving day is the exact same day.

Speaker:

One has to be in Los Angeles.

Speaker:

One has to be in Oregon.

Speaker:

How is this going to happen?

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

I don't, you know, there, there are no graphs and diagrams and whiteboards

Speaker:

that we can draw right now to figure out an eight hour Trek this way.

Speaker:

And a 16 hour, we, we still have to figure that.

Speaker:

And that is.

Speaker:

October, November timeframe.

Speaker:

I think.

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

So again, I just, I just paid for the airline tickets and

Speaker:

I just drive a lot of times.

Speaker:

So let me get, let us get past that first and then we'll figure out

Speaker:

if we just get it out, get it out.

Speaker:

Little piece of that.

Speaker:

Everyone kicked out, swipe it up so I can kick both kids out.

Speaker:

Then build my home gym.

Speaker:

Uh that's that's that's what I'm trying to do.

Speaker:

No.

Speaker:

So that's nest empty then nest empty nest will be empty, man.

Speaker:

Uh, I know you.

Speaker:

I know you've got a long time go before your nest is empty.

Speaker:

Oh yeah, I got, I got a long empty girl, but, uh, tell you what, uh, what the

Speaker:

parents say, what the old, old, you know, old school folks say it goes by before

Speaker:

you know it and take those pictures.

Speaker:

Uh, enjoy every single moment because man, but he's, he's, he's doing it.

Speaker:

I mean, he, um, I was away in the middle east for three weeks.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I came back.

Speaker:

He's got new lexicon.

Speaker:

new hand.

Speaker:

New new strategies for getting what he wants.

Speaker:

Six years old, new habits or right.

Speaker:

18 months.

Speaker:

Oh, that's crazy.

Speaker:

18 months.

Speaker:

He started not nurse where he started.

Speaker:

pre-K yeah.

Speaker:

Learning about he's doing artwork, bringing back arts and crafts.

Speaker:

Love it, love it.

Speaker:

It's like, wow.

Speaker:

I went and I came back and he's doing arts and crafts.

Speaker:

Really.

Speaker:

Every season is, is, is a joy.

Speaker:

And it's a blessing Mattel.

Speaker:

Good to see you, man.

Speaker:

So, so Dan, this is Matel.

Speaker:

This is the gentleman who show I was producing.

Speaker:

When you came into back.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

I recognize the name.

Speaker:

I was like what?

Speaker:

They come back in a minute.

Speaker:

Like I got these football coaches.

Speaker:

They going in come, come back in like 10 minutes.

Speaker:

Did you get hacked?

Speaker:

What's happening, Lord.

Speaker:

Who is this showing up?

Speaker:

You know, who'd I give the keys to the front.

Speaker:

Who's got the codes.

Speaker:

Exactly.

Speaker:

I meant to change my code code, but now listen, um, and all the

Speaker:

parents I hear can attest, right?

Speaker:

It's just, it's the toughest job.

Speaker:

You, we do all these other things that we do, right?

Speaker:

We, we, we build security, we build, uh, financial cushions.

Speaker:

We mm-hmm, do what we can to set our children up for success.

Speaker:

But man, they really, it is, it is the hard, like I keep saying, it's

Speaker:

the hardest job that you'll ever love.

Speaker:

And nothing compares to being a parent in a good way in a, in a, in a good way, man.

Speaker:

But you know, and my daughter's already been gone to college

Speaker:

for two years and literally I'm, I still cry every other night.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Knowing that she's gone, right.

Speaker:

She's not physically here, she's there.

Speaker:

And, and she knows that my, my, my whole family knows that and now I gotta

Speaker:

prepare for my, my son to do that.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm so he's gonna be leaving.

Speaker:

So it's, it's gonna be a trip, but it's gonna be a, an interesting new me and my

Speaker:

wife have talked about this, a new season.

Speaker:

right for, again, that, that empty nester type of thing and

Speaker:

reconnecting with ourselves.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

We say making sure that our lives didn't revolve and don't revolve only

Speaker:

around the kids, but that we actually have our individual individual nation

Speaker:

or, uh, perspectives, and that we have still lead together as well.

Speaker:

So, uh, it's a conscious conversa.

Speaker:

Oh, we see how, how I did.

Speaker:

That's conscious conversation, man.

Speaker:

What?

Speaker:

My, what my sound effect.

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

I love it.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm is this the sharing you were talking about?

Speaker:

What you, what you was she talking about, man?

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

Mama, what you talking about?

Speaker:

First of all, mom, you need to get off Facebook and come on over to YouTube.

Speaker:

This, this, you know, all the cool kids.

Speaker:

Uh, oh, I better.

Speaker:

I better stop talking.

Speaker:

Cause bonk and, and Cheryl and.

Speaker:

And a couple other folks.

Speaker:

Oh my, lemme see my dad.

Speaker:

He know he over on.

Speaker:

I can, I can see people that are commenting right now.

Speaker:

My man Jim's over there on, on YouTube too.

Speaker:

Come on.

Speaker:

Now we're trying to get all the numbers up.

Speaker:

Viewership engagement.

Speaker:

I'm never, I don't like Facebook.

Speaker:

I don't, you do a lot on Facebook only because I did.

Speaker:

You have to, it doesn't require much.

Speaker:

doesn't require much but we're navigating out.

Speaker:

I just, uh, we just hired a company to, to support us, um, a little while ago.

Speaker:

JPCS we've got his YouTube team.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Working on the YouTube, um, doing an audit, helping us put together the

Speaker:

right content specifically for that.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Um, when I'm with the team in, in, in France, uh, next month I'm gonna

Speaker:

be recording some content and, you know, batching some content out

Speaker:

for, uh, for the YouTube as well.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

So let, let me ask you about a little bit about that.

Speaker:

Cuz choosing where to put the message.

Speaker:

It can't be everywhere.

Speaker:

You may wanna be.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm but you know where your target audience is, right?

Speaker:

You you've done all of the metrics.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm , you know, the analytics, you know, you've got men 20

Speaker:

through 65 years old, you got women, you know, you got all that.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm where are you seeing the most in not maybe not engagement, but where,

Speaker:

where are you getting the most value?

Speaker:

I mean, is, is it honestly the old school website, which is, I mean,

Speaker:

the landing pages and the website is really where a lot of this marketing

Speaker:

effort kind of should start maybe.

Speaker:

I mean, what, what I say is there are people everywhere and to work with what's

Speaker:

going on with your budget, what's going on with your resources and what's going on

Speaker:

with your skills so that you can maintain a conducive state to produce value.

Speaker:

So when I'm looking, I'm not really looking at, you know, what's my sales

Speaker:

conversion and all of that kind of stuff.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm, , I'm more looking at, do I have the opportunity to touch some lives?

Speaker:

In a way that maintains my capacity to be in a conducive space to create.

Speaker:

And so, wow.

Speaker:

I, like I said, we just invested in the YouTube.

Speaker:

Did I need to invest in YouTube to make more money?

Speaker:

No, but there are millions of people on YouTube who aren't getting the

Speaker:

message, because I wasn't producing the quality content of YouTube

Speaker:

standard format and template.

Speaker:

That's a good point.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

For them.

Speaker:

So that's what we're doing.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

So with the Instagram, I I've got the Instagram, I've been doing

Speaker:

Instagram for a long time, so I know we get the reel going.

Speaker:

You know, we get the posts, I go live three times a week.

Speaker:

We get, you know, good engagement on there.

Speaker:

Uh, we've got about a hundred thousand there and a hundred

Speaker:

about 80,000 there now.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm and we wanna get that to a couple hundred thousand of people that

Speaker:

we're serving on, on, on Instagram.

Speaker:

And we've got a strategy around that.

Speaker:

We've hired the right team to take that to the next level,

Speaker:

the way that we want to take it.

Speaker:

Uh, which is really funny.

Speaker:

I tell you a funny story.

Speaker:

I worked in a call center in 2012.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Uh, for about six months.

Speaker:

And there was a guy there, Adam, and at the time he was just

Speaker:

doing his last year of uni.

Speaker:

And I was like, just counseling him, like, you know, Adam, like,

Speaker:

get, get your studies done, get this knocked out, go, you know, focus.

Speaker:

Don't spend all this time with those hoes, you know, like, I'll

Speaker:

just like, it's you tell boy, you gotta tell 'em I'll telling him.

Speaker:

And we stayed in contact a little bit after I wrapped at the call center

Speaker:

and went to go and really focus on continuing to build the business.

Speaker:

But as the business built, I lost contact with a lot of people

Speaker:

that weren't really in the mix of what I was doing on the business.

Speaker:

I get an email, we get an email through the main.

Speaker:

Um, while I was in Dubai, this comes through what up

Speaker:

Dan is your old friend, Adam.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Guess what?

Speaker:

I started a new business married.

Speaker:

I got a kid now a friend of mine sends me a video of a YouTube guru

Speaker:

who he says, I really need to listen to and look lo and behold, it was you

Speaker:

you're doing something right.

Speaker:

There you go.

Speaker:

There you go.

Speaker:

So we, we, we're doing the thing.

Speaker:

We're doing the thing there, Twitter, I haven't really got pinned down.

Speaker:

We get a lot of engagement on Twitter, but I kind of just like, we have

Speaker:

some schedule posts or whatever.

Speaker:

I've got a nice bump on there because obviously I write for entrepreneur,

Speaker:

they share the articles and that gives me like a little bit of buzz.

Speaker:

I do wanna do a bit more on Twitter, but, um, TikTok, we hired a team.

Speaker:

Uh, we've been curating the content there.

Speaker:

Uh, we're getting some really, really good, uh, connectivity.

Speaker:

And, and we, we, we are dialing that in, in terms of getting that with people.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Um, Yeah, the podcast.

Speaker:

One of them is one top 1% one's top 0.5%, but we still hired a specialist.

Speaker:

Literally last week, we just spent 9,000 on those guys just to get

Speaker:

them to do real audit and tell us, you know, what can we scale?

Speaker:

How can we leverage, how can we start doing partnerships with other

Speaker:

leading podcasts and get it out.

Speaker:

But I didn't go and do all this at once we had one platform, we maximized it.

Speaker:

We made sure that we were serving.

Speaker:

We made sure that we're financially stable and then we've creeped out and

Speaker:

expanded onto these other platforms.

Speaker:

But again, I mean, for me, I'm not doing it for the money, but if this

Speaker:

is a, if this is a business, mm.

Speaker:

I agree with you find that one platform where you were able to

Speaker:

serve at the highest level and make your business do the business thing.

Speaker:

Like I said, for me, this is, this is a service thing, you know, like I,

Speaker:

I get to, to help people and connect in its purpose and mission driven.

Speaker:

So I want to be everywhere, but even though I could be everywhere

Speaker:

at once, let's get this done, get the team set up, get them executing.

Speaker:

We didn't move to the YouTube till we got the TikTok guys.

Speaker:

Are we getting results?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

You know how the ads going in terms of getting followers in and blah, blah, blah.

Speaker:

How's the content being received?

Speaker:

Where can we repurpose that yet?

Speaker:

We can go and pop that back over on the Instagram.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

That takes care of some of that content.

Speaker:

You're good.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

My team, they take that over now.

Speaker:

I don't have to turn the meetings around that.

Speaker:

That's good.

Speaker:

If they need something, they tell me now we moved on to the YouTube.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

They're good.

Speaker:

They're cool.

Speaker:

They're gonna give us the list of things.

Speaker:

I'll record that with even my videographer here in carbo, I'll

Speaker:

work with the team over there.

Speaker:

Now we're moving on the podcast, scaling and leveraging that.

Speaker:

I, I love a couple things that you mentioned there.

Speaker:

Cause I just had a conversation.

Speaker:

I just interviewed, uh, Dr.

Speaker:

ELO, Dr.

Speaker:

AFR, uh, Lopez couple days ago.

Speaker:

And he, we talked about, and he mentioned about knowing limitations,

Speaker:

knowing when to bring on a team.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Knowing, knowing when you can't do all of the things you want, you may wanna

Speaker:

do all the things, but knowing when you have to either outsource graphics,

Speaker:

overlays, uh, content or publishing, you know, things of that nature and,

Speaker:

and you, you know about this, right.

Speaker:

Different audiences on those different platforms, the people, our, our attention

Speaker:

span kids' attention span is what, all of two minutes, three minutes, 30 seconds,

Speaker:

what, something real low like that.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So yeah, what, what you're putting out there on Instagram, on those reels may

Speaker:

resonate only there, but you, if you try to do something like that long, that type

Speaker:

of content doesn't work everywhere else.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

And it, and it's gotta be specific.

Speaker:

So the fact that you said, you know, you, you've brought on a team, you've brought

Speaker:

on folks who are specializing in each of those venues, uh, each of those markets,

Speaker:

each of those audiences that that's, that's really good to, to hear and hope.

Speaker:

Some of these folks are, are taking, taking note to that is, um, that's

Speaker:

the only way that you really can scale.

Speaker:

I mean, mm-hmm, , I, I, I got more, well, I used to, I've gotten better.

Speaker:

I've got more, I'm gonna say rocket books and, um, pieces of posted notes all

Speaker:

over the place that when I was trying to do it all by myself, but now, you

Speaker:

know, I'm bringing in more automation.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm, looking to actually cut some of the purse strings in terms of doing,

Speaker:

I, I, I look, I'm talking to people as opposed to doing a lot of this myself.

Speaker:

I, I still try to maintain as much control of the process.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm and I don't, I don't know.

Speaker:

You don't, let me ask you this.

Speaker:

You don't necessarily lose control of the process by outsourcing

Speaker:

because you set the standard, right?

Speaker:

You, you set the yeah.

Speaker:

The, the direction and you get the right people around you.

Speaker:

You give them the, the keep KPIs.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Give them the KPIs you give them.

Speaker:

Um, I mean, so the way that it works for me, like I outsource absolutely everyth.

Speaker:

like everything.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm , mm-hmm, everything gets outsourced, but then I've set up the way

Speaker:

that I engage with those outsource teams.

Speaker:

So for example, Amy, who's my executive assistant.

Speaker:

She project manages everybody.

Speaker:

We meet every single week and then we're in contact on slack on a daily basis.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Outside of slack hours, she's got my personal number.

Speaker:

She sends me a WhatsApp.

Speaker:

If there's something urgent, boom, go and do the thing.

Speaker:

So everybody reports to Amy at least once a week.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Everybody, if someone's running a team.

Speaker:

So for example, we've got some, a couple of content creation teams.

Speaker:

The head of that team reports to Amy weekly.

Speaker:

She has standing meetings with certain team people weekly, and there

Speaker:

are certain stats and data that go on different slack channels daily.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

So every day I get, for example, the email list stats every

Speaker:

single morning, that pops up.

Speaker:

How many unsubscribes, how many subscribes?

Speaker:

We can track that to.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Where did we had a bump?

Speaker:

Oh, where did that come from?

Speaker:

We had a drop.

Speaker:

We didn't get any new, any new needs that day.

Speaker:

Why not?

Speaker:

Did we put out an email?

Speaker:

Did we make an offer on there?

Speaker:

Did we have something?

Speaker:

Yeah, we did.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Well then that's not really cutting it cause we got, we got

Speaker:

zero so we can course correct.

Speaker:

I meet with certain team members weekly, certain every two weeks,

Speaker:

the whole team gets together once a quarter, but we also have a Google doc.

Speaker:

That's got exactly what's happening monthly, weekly, and as priorities

Speaker:

for the different team members that everyone can check on the Googled or

Speaker:

can see what their responsibilities are.

Speaker:

And Amy translates that into a signup for the task management mm-hmm and

Speaker:

then I check in with her and she lets me know what's going on with everyone.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

So I'm not.

Speaker:

In it, but my finger is on the pulse.

Speaker:

I'm not just like call you're you're around it.

Speaker:

You, you, you dip in when, when need me and when necessary.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

So people are getting value.

Speaker:

So shots, we see Cheryl talking about she's taking some notes.

Speaker:

I mean, and, and, and you're interesting tools that a lot of us should be aware of.

Speaker:

You're talking about Google, you're talking about AANA,

Speaker:

you're talking about slack.

Speaker:

These are the tools that readily available, right.

Speaker:

It's and you can get free versions.

Speaker:

I was getting ready to say doesn't cost you much except some time so, so don't

Speaker:

use the, and if you want, if you wanna upgrade to the pro, listen, I'm gonna

Speaker:

affiliate for all of those, and I can get you a couple of percentages off, but

Speaker:

see, I got, I gotta throw that in there.

Speaker:

Boom, come on.

Speaker:

Now we gotta get this money.

Speaker:

I gotta pay for college.

Speaker:

Um, that's that's good.

Speaker:

That's, that's good to know, especially the scale of your business and, and

Speaker:

the activities that you're involved in, just to know that you preach and

Speaker:

you talk about the abundance of life and being, being centered and being

Speaker:

focused and being, being, being in the.

Speaker:

and your, your demeanor shows that, right?

Speaker:

You you're running so many different things, but the fact that as you

Speaker:

say, you've outsourced everything to keep, keep all of the, all of the

Speaker:

trucks moving in the same direction.

Speaker:

You're you're the lead truck, which you're you get all your

Speaker:

trucks going in the same direction.

Speaker:

And I think that that's a true Testament to the systems you've put in place

Speaker:

to, to drive Manina enterprises.

Speaker:

Huh?

Speaker:

is that that's right.

Speaker:

that's right.

Speaker:

She's asking how does one find a team that can fulfill this?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

You know, this isn't, this isn't fiber.com, right?

Speaker:

I mean, this is something that you gotta, you can use, you can

Speaker:

use five, you can use at work.

Speaker:

We've got a couple members of the team.

Speaker:

One, I think about two.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

We've got a couple from five.

Speaker:

We've got a couple from, from at work.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Um, yeah.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Um, because again, you think we, we are all.

Speaker:

Geographically displaced.

Speaker:

We're we're all.

Speaker:

You're again, I'm in, I'm on the west coast.

Speaker:

I'm in California.

Speaker:

You're in cobbles San Lucas.

Speaker:

I mean, I mean, to be able to coordinate not just time zones.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

What time is mm-hmm what, what time is it for?

Speaker:

Uh, 7 53.

Speaker:

I'm just now ahead of you.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Well, yeah, that's not bad.

Speaker:

So when I I'm just wanna make sure when I fly there, I'm not gonna have

Speaker:

jet lag cuz it's nah, it's always do aqui time in, in Mexico, so, okay.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

See squirrel there, there you go.

Speaker:

I start thinking about other things in, in mind, my Keith stroke, uh,

Speaker:

um, uh, gotta have that too, man.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Well I'm not taking so not taking any more tequila, um, tours though of factories.

Speaker:

No, no, because what they give you to taste at the factory yeah.

Speaker:

Is not what you take home.

Speaker:

Just so you know, well, I, when I went a few times, I was expecting to

Speaker:

get this, this stellar, uh, amazing product that I was taste testing.

Speaker:

And then when I brought the bottle home, tasted like mountain Dew or something.

Speaker:

So I was like, come on, man, would I just spend my little 80 pesos home?

Speaker:

So if you spent 80 paces is probably why you got the mountain.

Speaker:

I taste like Mount Dew taste like ed Dew.

Speaker:

It's like, I like that.

Speaker:

But I like the price of that one.

Speaker:

I like that.

Speaker:

But not that I like that, uh, fiber I'm used in the past up work.

Speaker:

Not yet any best recommendations between the two.

Speaker:

I wonder if you depends, who's got the reviews, who's got

Speaker:

the capacity to do the job.

Speaker:

Who's got, you know, work that they can show you.

Speaker:

Um, that's what we're looking at.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Now you, you, your, your.

Speaker:

Because I'm I'm I think I mentioned to you what I, my goal, my mission, my, my focus

Speaker:

mm-hmm for next year is mm-hmm right.

Speaker:

Taking, taking this on the road.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm, moving from virtual to not even hybrid, but to, in, in person

Speaker:

mm-hmm same team that you used to manage kind of the day to day basis.

Speaker:

Cuz cuz now I really wanna pick the brain, right?

Speaker:

Because if I'm taking perspectives and focus on the road in 2023 to a

Speaker:

city near you folks or to a, who will couple be a Providence or a country

Speaker:

near you, I want, I, I wanna make sure that I got everything dialed in.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

I wanna make sure.

Speaker:

And right.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm I wanna make sure exchange rates are, are properly laid out and

Speaker:

you know, customs forms are filled out.

Speaker:

If I, if I come and do a 90 minute session in Austin, Massachusetts, You know,

Speaker:

venue set up, catering, set up security.

Speaker:

I mean, all of those things, I, I, I may just actually hire, hire you, sir.

Speaker:

And, and we hire, hire your, your team.

Speaker:

Uh, I don't know what the rates are gonna be, but it just help me to help me.

Speaker:

I mean, I mean, you could me, I mean, one thing I would say as well is it's

Speaker:

imperative that you've got a vibe with the people that you're working with.

Speaker:

Mm.

Speaker:

Like if you don't have a vibe, it's not gonna work.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

There's got to be a vibe.

Speaker:

So like with my squad, like we, we bust jokes, you know, we're, you know,

Speaker:

we dance, we laugh, we cut shapes together, but we're also very clear

Speaker:

on what we are, what we are doing.

Speaker:

We're all committed to the, to the same mission.

Speaker:

We're all moving in the same direction.

Speaker:

We all have our eyes on the prize of serving these people at the highest level.

Speaker:

Like none of these people are in it because they want to get rich.

Speaker:

All of them are here because they really wanna serve.

Speaker:

That's literally what it is.

Speaker:

Now we are very big on the impression of increase being poured into everybody

Speaker:

that comes into our sphere at any level.

Speaker:

And so that's really, really what it's about.

Speaker:

So when you've got that communal energy, that's really

Speaker:

focused in the same direction.

Speaker:

I think that for me, obviously, there's got to be a level of competence.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

There must be a level of competence, but for me, the, um, the bigger thing

Speaker:

over and above the level of competence is the level of alignment, alignment

Speaker:

with the goal or alignment with the oh, with each other, the, okay, here we go.

Speaker:

The whole group.

Speaker:

So kind of that team focus, as opposed to just, again, I'm here to do me and I'm

Speaker:

here for, for my, my brand, as opposed to, again, like, like you said, that, uh,

Speaker:

overarching goal of trying to help people.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Love that.

Speaker:

I'm learning, man.

Speaker:

This is come on now.

Speaker:

I, I, I'm not to I'm I'm smart.

Speaker:

I, I, I never say that I'm the smartest person in the room.

Speaker:

I, I can push all these buttons and look, I can, I can move me from left to right.

Speaker:

And I, I can do all, I can do the remote production thing without a

Speaker:

problem, but I'm all, I never want to be in the room where I'm considered

Speaker:

the, the smartest person in that room.

Speaker:

I always wanna be learning ego.

Speaker:

No.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I wanna be the dumbest person.

Speaker:

I wanna be the brokers person.

Speaker:

I wanna be the least accomplished person.

Speaker:

I wanna be the least experienced person, at least a third of the time.

Speaker:

I think it's that?

Speaker:

What do they call him?

Speaker:

That guy, Ty Lopez.

Speaker:

He said, I dunno where he got it from.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm a third of the time cement where people pulling you up a third

Speaker:

of the time, people lifting you up and a third of the time, iron

Speaker:

sharpening iron people, that your, your peers, it's got to be a good mix.

Speaker:

I like to keep it a bit more people above.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

And then people below and then a smaller circle of peers.

Speaker:

Where we're pushing each other up and encouraging people to lift people up.

Speaker:

That's so, okay.

Speaker:

Let let's, let's dive into that, man.

Speaker:

And again, I'm gonna be cognizant of your time, cause I, I know you, you got,

Speaker:

uh, you got bottles waiting for you.

Speaker:

There's bottles, bottle service, but yeah, I'm in that same, same thing.

Speaker:

I'm in that same thought right now.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

And, and it's, it's tough because you have to ly start thinking about

Speaker:

maybe, maybe cutting people loose or mm-hmm when you start outgrowing,

Speaker:

when you start doing, doing more of the thing that is, is forward momentum and

Speaker:

forward forwardly progressing more, more positive as opposed to being stagnant.

Speaker:

Sometimes you gotta, you gotta, sometimes you just outgrow you, you

Speaker:

and mm-hmm . I mean that that's, that's tough sometime, but it it's necessary.

Speaker:

And I, I, I like what you said there.

Speaker:

And I, I like into that, you know, if you wanna be a millionaire, you gonna

Speaker:

have to hang out with millionaires.

Speaker:

You know, if you wanna be a billionaire, you gotta have more.

Speaker:

You're not gonna be having the habits, behaviors and what not of a billionaire.

Speaker:

If you're hanging out with bums, it's just not gonna happen.

Speaker:

I mean, I mean, that's, that's just truth folks.

Speaker:

I mean that that's that's, that's no shade on anyone.

Speaker:

That's no, that's no negativity.

Speaker:

That's just truth.

Speaker:

That's just, and that's not telling you anyone that they have to yeah.

Speaker:

Be like, maybe you are happy being a bum.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Hmm.

Speaker:

Come on, man.

Speaker:

That's just, that's that's a hit again for reality right now.

Speaker:

You just happy being, God, let me think about that.

Speaker:

Maybe you happy being above.

Speaker:

I, I just, I know.

Speaker:

I just gotta think of it.

Speaker:

That's that's, that's some realization for you there, right

Speaker:

there that you, you wake up and say I'm, I'm happy just being above.

Speaker:

Mm there's.

Speaker:

A piece that can come from you just accepting.

Speaker:

, you know, I kind of, this is what I'm, this is the, the level I'm

Speaker:

playing it and I'm, I'm okay.

Speaker:

Playing at that level.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Play at that level.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

And there's you gotta, people are required at all levels.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Like the world requires people at all levels.

Speaker:

And I use bum playfully, you know, Bri bum.

Speaker:

Really what I'm saying is like not, everybody's here to be a millionaire.

Speaker:

Some people are here to, to run the companies that are owned by people

Speaker:

who are ready to put in the work to be millionaires and billionaires.

Speaker:

And that's fine.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

I mean, completely, you know, and, and that's fine.

Speaker:

Not, not everyone's in the same season as, as you are, you know, you may be

Speaker:

more aggressive and, and more on a, on a hockey stick type of trajectory than,

Speaker:

than someone else who's kind of plateaued and, and just wants to chill a bit.

Speaker:

But listen, man, I mean folks like you folks like me, but we trying to.

Speaker:

We, we trying to, you trying to do some things, but we're ready to, but

Speaker:

we're ready to, to do the moving.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

But we're ready to make the movements.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm are you ready to do the moving and make the movements?

Speaker:

Cause if you're not fall back, that's a, that's a realization as well.

Speaker:

You know, that's, that's a realization is as well there because you, you, you want

Speaker:

to have all the things you, you want to be X, Y, Z status, but mm-hmm, you willing

Speaker:

to put in that work to get it done, right.

Speaker:

That that's a whole different type of a conversation, man.

Speaker:

This, this is tough, right?

Speaker:

You can't do it overnight.

Speaker:

There's no, there are no overnight sensations.

Speaker:

It may look like it sometime, but no, there's a lot of blood,

Speaker:

sweat, and more tears to actually

Speaker:

more blood too.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

And more blood too.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm but when you are able to, when you're able to actually just own

Speaker:

that and accept it, the game changes.

Speaker:

Yeah, the game changes when you can accept, you know what, this is where I'm

Speaker:

at, this is what I have the desire for.

Speaker:

This is what I have the capacity for.

Speaker:

This is what I have the aptitude for.

Speaker:

Not, everybody's gonna be a grandma at chess.

Speaker:

Some of you're gonna get your as sorts every time you step up to the board and

Speaker:

there's nothing wrong with that either.

Speaker:

Well, it's embarrassing, you know, I, I, I can win a few, but you know,

Speaker:

I'm, I don't wanna get beat every time, you know, I, I learned , I

Speaker:

can tell you up in some checkers too, but you know, I, I, well, yeah.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

We have nothing room with that.

Speaker:

No, and, and, and the sooner that we're able to be at peace with that,

Speaker:

the nicer, your life's gonna be

Speaker:

it's a lot easier said than done, man.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm and, and again, I'm, I'm, I'm just being devil's advocate.

Speaker:

I'm just being, I'm not purposely trying to be doubting Thomas.

Speaker:

I'm just being devil's advocate.

Speaker:

Just say saying what's probably some folks that are gonna be listening.

Speaker:

Either listening now or listening later are thinking, but mm-hmm, , it, it, we, we

Speaker:

all want to, to some extent be successful and what, whatever that definition

Speaker:

of successfulness is is different.

Speaker:

But when, when you know, you gotta do so much to do, when you have to do so much

Speaker:

to get to that point, sometimes that can be daunting and mm-hmm, being, being,

Speaker:

being a red loose, or being a recluse or being, or soaking, or being stagnant

Speaker:

in where you are and not moving forward.

Speaker:

That can be mentally draining as well.

Speaker:

I mean, you, you've got great intentions.

Speaker:

You, you want to, you want to do the travel.

Speaker:

You want to have the, the financial wellbeing you, you want

Speaker:

to mm-hmm, do all that stuff.

Speaker:

But again, when you, when you look at.

Speaker:

and the task list and the checklist of, well, Dan first you gotta

Speaker:

do these hundred things, then you gotta do 'em all over again.

Speaker:

mm-hmm because 50 of them failed mm-hmm because it was a lesson

Speaker:

and then they started again.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Then, then you gotta do again, like, man, is it you almost wonder, is it worth it?

Speaker:

Um, and I, I don't necessarily wanna get in into, because I wanna say, probably

Speaker:

say that for another session, but man, it's just, you know, we're, I, I spent a

Speaker:

lot of time talking about people's mental health and mental awareness and just

Speaker:

their ability to get through the day.

Speaker:

If you woke up day, it's another opportunity to do something,

Speaker:

to strive for greatness.

Speaker:

But man, if you continue to get knocked down, if you continue to have challenges,

Speaker:

if, if you, if you don't have those teams, like, like you, like you say, like you

Speaker:

have within your organization, if you don't have those people, those persons

Speaker:

to reach out, to, to support, to help.

Speaker:

you don't know how to find them.

Speaker:

No, no fault of your own mm-hmm right.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

What do you do?

Speaker:

And again, I'm, I'm just thinking about those folks.

Speaker:

I'm I constantly, so for the folks that are listen and watching I'm I'm

Speaker:

using these platforms, perspectives and focus, conscious conversations with

Speaker:

Dan as, as our action to help people.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm, find resources to ha to let people actually ask those questions.

Speaker:

So, in, in a way I'm thinking, I'm hoping that we are doing our part by letting

Speaker:

people air grievances, air questions, come up with resolutions and solutions

Speaker:

by talking to folks who are those subject matter experts, talking to Dan

Speaker:

men who knows this type of stuff who's been there, who's living it, right.

Speaker:

Who's who's fallen down and gotten back up, falling down again, gotten back up.

Speaker:

They did it again.

Speaker:

You know what I mean?

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Did he not learn?

Speaker:

No, he did it again.

Speaker:

well, you know, some, sometimes it, it takes two or three times to get hit in

Speaker:

the head, but, but again, I just, uh, so, so I guess long story long answer

Speaker:

short is, you know, finding the resources and, and having those conversations

Speaker:

I'm want to use this PLA that's one of my missions and goals, fraternity.

Speaker:

These lights on and press and record is to have those awkward conversations

Speaker:

and having the meaningful dialogue to allow folks to do better and get better.

Speaker:

I think we're doing that.

Speaker:

I, I really do think we're doing that.

Speaker:

It's a continual battle.

Speaker:

It's old battle, continual struggle, uh, continual journey, adventure,

Speaker:

and such, and it's worth it.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

As long as I keep telling myself that it's worth it, I'll

Speaker:

keep turning these lights on.

Speaker:

I'll keep pressing cord and we'll keep going live.

Speaker:

But when I feel that it's not worth it, I'm literally asking a question of you

Speaker:

now, you know, what do I do when I feel when I get so behind the eight ball of

Speaker:

whatever, where I feel that it's not worth it, it's not resonating with anyone.

Speaker:

It's not you.

Speaker:

It's not the monetary thing.

Speaker:

I mean, that's, that's, that's fine.

Speaker:

And Danny, and that that's, that's great.

Speaker:

And all, but I making the change.

Speaker:

Are we making the change in someone's life?

Speaker:

Who is having a hard time?

Speaker:

You know what?

Speaker:

We're not always gonna, no,

Speaker:

I'll, I'll accept that answer.

Speaker:

Listen.

Speaker:

No I'll because cuz I came with with a whole lot of stuff there.

Speaker:

I'll accept that.

Speaker:

To be honest with you.

Speaker:

you know, again, that that's just, we're always gonna, yeah.

Speaker:

Are we gonna leave?

Speaker:

Are we gonna leave our emotional state wrapped up in something

Speaker:

that we're not always gonna know?

Speaker:

Cause we might look on the outside and see that we're doing it, but we don't know.

Speaker:

So the thing is, is does it still feel for me it's does it still feel sexy to do it?

Speaker:

Mm okay.

Speaker:

Cause even if there's nobody there and if still feels sexy, I'm gonna

Speaker:

keep on turning the lights on.

Speaker:

Boy, go here.

Speaker:

Watch yourself.

Speaker:

Now.

Speaker:

He said, if it feels sexy for that's that's man.

Speaker:

Gina boy.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Come on.

Speaker:

That's that's it's got to feel sexy.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

That for me is a determining factor.

Speaker:

Is it sexy?

Speaker:

Yummy, delicious, fantastic.

Speaker:

Cool.

Speaker:

We're doing it.

Speaker:

If not anybody got time for that.

Speaker:

I don't know what's going on in the heart of the person who I'm seeing

Speaker:

on the other side of social media.

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

I don't even know what's going in the heart and mind or in the house of

Speaker:

the person who's in the room with me.

Speaker:

But what I do know is does it feel sexy to me?

Speaker:

That's good enough.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

As, as long, as long as you're good, comfortable, satisfied,

Speaker:

you're not hurting anyone.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

I mean, you're, you're not, you're not out there throwing, throwing dart or anything

Speaker:

in anyone literally, or figur right on.

Speaker:

I could say worse, but I don't wanna do that, but y'all get it.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm do you be you right?

Speaker:

Mm-hmm okay.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

That will, that would the, uh, payment for this session, sir, will

Speaker:

be in your, um, you take your PayPal.

Speaker:

You don't take probably don't take PayPal over in Cabo.

Speaker:

What, what, I gotta send some Zelle or, or send, send it straight to . It's a

Speaker:

straight wire transfer from Wells Fargo.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

That's transfer.

Speaker:

That's what it is, you know?

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

We already talked about the gold standard.

Speaker:

So you just want a couple of, oh my God.

Speaker:

See, look you'll to that.

Speaker:

Ain't ain't nothing wrong with being right.

Speaker:

You know what brother?

Speaker:

Right, right there, I think is I was looking for that tipping point to

Speaker:

where we can that natural, natural culmination take, take folks, take

Speaker:

'em to that edge and, and, and give them that little gym there.

Speaker:

That's that's a great point right there.

Speaker:

I think, I think we'll, we'll, we'll cut it right there and

Speaker:

let people marinate on that.

Speaker:

Be happy in yourself.

Speaker:

Keep doing as long as you feel sexy about it.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm um, cuz cuz that real, that, that really resonates.

Speaker:

I think with, um, a lot of stuff, personal professional as well.

Speaker:

Uh mm-hmm just things as you do, Mr.

Speaker:

Cox, how you doing, man?

Speaker:

I'm glad you joined check to replay out, man.

Speaker:

Gina here is, is dropping them like is dropping them like it's hot.

Speaker:

Yeah, like he's, he's dropping him.

Speaker:

So you gotta watch out for this man.

Speaker:

Um, Dan, tell the folks what you got going on.

Speaker:

I'm actually going to, so what I'm gonna do, this is what I'm gonna do

Speaker:

right now for the rest of the night.

Speaker:

It's not very exciting.

Speaker:

Um, getting, I told you getting ready for a good Atlanta tomorrow, right?

Speaker:

I gotta go cut the grass.

Speaker:

I gotta dude, my kids aren't gonna do it.

Speaker:

That's why I gotta cut the grass.

Speaker:

Then I gotta go clean the pool.

Speaker:

Then I'm gonna go to the gym after I get done with all that

Speaker:

I gotta, I gotta, I gotta cut up the video that you barged in on.

Speaker:

You know, you, you came in the studio like ahead of time or what, whatever, but you

Speaker:

came in the, so I gotta cut that up and then post that to, to the, to the site.

Speaker:

So, so, so that'll go.

Speaker:

And then I'm going to check on the conference dates.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Yeah, I'm gonna, I'm gonna check on the alchemy of abundance.

Speaker:

So somewhere in tonight's calendar of events is seeing if I have permission

Speaker:

to come hang out with you and cobble son, Lucas, just, uh, just, just

Speaker:

drop with the SMS and I'll get Amy to hook you up with that registration.

Speaker:

We'll get you registered.

Speaker:

She, she is amazing too.

Speaker:

I've I've worked.

Speaker:

She's uh, you know, we've had some emails back and forth.

Speaker:

Good people.

Speaker:

You got working around you.

Speaker:

So I wanted to give them shots out to, to Amy as well.

Speaker:

So, uh, Kevin's watching the game.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:
