Shownotes

It's that time of year Raag Hags when we say goodbye to 2021 and get excited for 2022! We are looking back at all the incredible books we read this year on the podcast and awarding the Best Feels, Overall, Audio, Cover, Smut, and our personal favorites overall! Join us as we cackle away the New Year and reminisce about old favorites.

To say we were surprised by the two genres that dominated the awards is an understatement. Just goes to show that you should go into reading with an open heart, and check out different sub-genres from time to time. You may be surprised what becomes your new favorite!

Happy 2022 and we are so thankful you are here! For those of you who have been with us since the beginning (especially our OG patrons and champions of the podcast who share our podcast all the time) THANK YOU. You help us grow, you help us pay for our podcast service, and website and transcriptions to make our podcast more accessible for all.

To everyone who recommended one of these incredible books, thank you! We really look at and think about every single recommendation you give, and we appreciate your time and desire for us to check out your favorite books.

For our new friends and listeners, HELLO AND WELCOME!!! We're so happy you found our podcast and hopefully, you laughed along as we talked romance. We've got a lot more fun escapism coming at ya next year as we review another 40 or more books, and interview TONs of amazing authors!!

  3. When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare
  4. Love the Sinner by Avril Ashton
  5. Gladiator by Anna Hackett

Top 5 Interviews - This was exceptionally hard to pick since we love all our author interviews!

  • Avril Ashton  - So fun! and SOOO NSFW. Go there and learn from the queen about self-confidence and loving your work.
  • Anna Hackett  - Great writing advice and career change story! Also, about creating alien worlds and rules.
  • Tiffany Roberts - Definitely the sweetest interview we have ever done with the couple behind the Tiffany Roberts books! STAY FOR THE ENDING - AWWWW
  • Jean Meltzer - Jean! Bubbly, funny, and talked all about writing with a chronic illness, and loving Christmas as a Jewish person!
  • Christine Feehan - One of the OGs of PNR, we were so happy to get her on the podcast. We covered so many topics, from writing, writing while busy and making time, writing characters with found families, and past trauma. Just an excellent episode.
