In this episode, Kellan talks about resistance. We’ll be hearing about resistance in three parts – what it is, why it is, and dealing with it.

When working toward any goal, you’ll be faced with some form of resistance -the block or hurdle that tries to get between you and Your Ultimate Life. While we might think of external factors that slow our progress, Kellan tells us that the Resistance that has the biggest impact is actually internal – our own thoughts and reasons that we give ourselves to avoid doing the things we want to do.

While resistance tries to deter you from following the path to your goal, overcoming that resistance is what allows you to grow. Like physical exercise, you need to push back against the gravity of your resistance in order to reach your goal – one small step at a time.

It only takes one small victory to remind you that, even when you relapse, you at least have the ability to achieve a small victory – and that counts as progress toward creating Your Ultimate Life.
