Trauma and adversity mean something different to everyone, and the feelings they create in us as adults can cause future adversities within ourselves. Our guest today has an impactful and powerful story that will give you an insight into healing and retrieving ones self. Joining us, we have the professional speaker, self-care and accountability coach, Leigh Joy. Leigh shares with Lance her story of how she lost her mom and was given up for adoption at just four and a half years old. Leigh opens up about her years of addiction, how she was able to learn to love herself again and start recovery for herself. Hailing from South Africa, Leigh explores South African society with Lance and how local citizens view the topic of self-development and self-care.
