Shownotes

The Church above preaches that the Bible can teach you how to be financially well, how Jesus died for you personally, and how the Bible can make your life better. They teach an individualized gospel that is focused on the self. They put forth Biblical financial plans to make yourself wealthy with no regard of how we can spend our money to benefit others.

.

This is the Underground Church and we believe that Jesus' death was meant to help us bring salvation to "the other", that the Bible teaches us how to from a just society, and that financial justice is more important to God than financial success.

What does the Bible say about financial? What does the Bible say about giving financially? What does God say about struggling financially? How to be financially free according to the Bible? What does the Bible say about money? How does God want us to use money? What does God say about managing money? What is the meaning of Psalm 15? How to live the Psalm 15 life? What does Psalm 15:5 mean?

.

In this episode, we will:

  • Deconstruct the Biblical narrative around finances
  • Explore how to use our money in a just society
  • Discuss the Biblical approach to a system that keeps the poor, poor
  • Explain how the message of Salvation is not individualistic
