Summary:

I connect the dots between the Venezuela invasion, billionaire interests, and a long U.S. pattern of extraction in the Global South.

I open with a blunt premise: multiple things can be true at once. Venezuela is a distraction from the Epstein files and a payout to billionaire backers—and it fits a decades-long U.S. operating system in Latin America and beyond: deregulate, extract, topple, repeat. Along the way, I trace receipts—from Haiti to the lithium triangle—to show how propaganda masks material interests and why this moment should worry anyone who cares about rule of law.

This should prove without a doubt that there isn't a single thing that this guy will not do to make sure that the files never get the attention that they need. And when I say files, you know the files that are I'm talking about. And it leads you to ask the question.

How terrible are the contents of the Epstein files and how many billionaires and billionaire allies are caught up in the dragnet of probably, one of his history's biggest sex trafficking and child sex abuse scandals.

Those are the questions that you need to think about when you're processing what's currently happening in Venezuela.

Let's understand. What we're seeing right now, there are a lot of historical parallels and there's a lot of nickson parallels that are taking place from a recent history perspective. What we're seeing now is a president who has terrible economic numbers,

ity is tanking. Nobody likes [:

He went to war and in fact, when you look at the Republican track record of governance from Reagan, going forward, this follows a historical trend. One of the things that you can guarantee whenever Republican administration is in power, you can guarantee that the economy's gonna tank and you can guarantee that there's gonna be a war, and you can guarantee that every day average Americans are gonna get.

Stuck holding the bag and footing the bill for these adventures.

's got an invasion under his [:

This was the guy that was arguing that he should be given a Nobel Peace Prize for. Who knows what, but in his mind, he's supposedly stopped seven wars. Let's understand what that's about.

This is a regime, and this is an individual at the head of the regime who comes in and creates a giant mess and then wants credit for having a minor improvement in the circumstances of the mess of his own creation.

That's what this is.

Multiple things can be true at the same time. When you look at the invasion of Venezuela, this is certainly an effort to distract away from what's contained in the Epstein files, but it's also an effort to pay off and satisfy the billionaire interests that have funded this regime and propelled it into power.

That's what the Argentina payoff was, and that's what this is.

have to look at the obvious. [:

General Laura J. Richardson: Of course the countries, Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua with, Russia relationships. Why this region matters with all of its rich resources and rare earth elements. We've got the lithium triangle, which is needed for technology today. 60% of the world's lithium, is in the lithium triangle, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile.

egion too. It's just off the [:

We have a lot to do. This region matters. It has a lot to do with national security and we need to step up our game.

Dr. Jim: That is an excerpt from a US military general talking about the significance of this hemisphere and particularly Latin and South America, and the resources that it provides for us interests. And when you think about that quote and put it into perspective of US involvement in this hemisphere, every Latin and South American country that has had a dictator in place, there's US fingerprints all around it.

And this is a template that's been followed all around the world by us and US allies. The global south is resource rich. And European and American economies rely on extraction. Extraction of resources, extraction of labor at the lowest possible price. Because that's what looks good for.

[:

You have to understand that when we look at all of US history, just from the 19 hundreds going forward in this hemisphere. It is constant meddling. Constant propping up of dictators, constant brutalization of brown and black faces to serve the billionaire interest, that control the people in power. And this is independent of who's actually in the office. And whenever anybody starts rocking the boat within those countries, or even domestically, they get dealt with in the most severe of circumstances.

And what's interesting about this pattern of behavior is that while that's been the truth of the American operating rhythm. The propaganda that everybody's told is that all of these countries are shit.

all these resources, they're [:

But unfortunately, that narrative doesn't align with the facts if you take the time to go look at it.

A perfect example is Haiti probably one of the poorest countries in this hemisphere. And what's interesting about Haiti was that Haiti was the first country to declare independence from France, and that was. The genesis of Haiti being founded as a country. Haiti was just another colonial project by the French in this hemisphere.

And every country in this hemisphere was a colonial project of varying degrees.

But as soon as Haiti declared independence, it's been besieged by all of the Western and European powers throughout its history. And one of the interesting things about Haiti's history is that it has been one of the poorest countries historically, mainly because colonial powers both from a European perspective and even a United States perspective have been robbing them blind.

In fact, [:

And one of the interesting pieces of Haitian history that you need to be aware of is that a major US bank, citi Bank had its origin thanks to the US stealing gold literally out of the Haitians treasury to fund the creation of Citibank. And there are stories like that when you look at every country in this hemisphere.

l understand that the reason [:

Help the US make it easier to extract as much resources to the benefit of the US and take money out of these countries. So these countries never develop.

That's the template. You prop up a dictator, you get. Deals that are favorable to you and your business interests, and you extract as much as possible, and when the people revolt or the leader gets deposed, and the new leadership tries to nationalize those resources so that investment stays within their borders.

, El Salvador, Peru, Brazil, [:

Inside their borders. And once they do that, you understand the conflicts that occur when it comes to the US and their interests within this hemisphere.

And that's what you're seeing in Venezuela. And this pattern of extraction is something that happens at the hands of European and American powers all around the globe.

to fund the British Empire . [:

And that's the pattern of the former colonial powers, and they're still extracting that through various banking and finance vehicles and in and foreign direct investments in those colonies. So this is a historical template that was built by the Europeans, mastered by the Americans, and that's still continuing to today.

And Venezuela is just another version of that colonial influence being re exerted in this hemisphere, and you're seeing the same thing in Africa as well. You're seeing more and more African nations demand that.

Their resources be [:

When you look at what's happening in Burkina Faso by Ibrahim Re and what he's done, he's kicked out. The French and other former French colonies are doing the same thing so that they can actually improve their countries at a faster rate than what was happening by.

Leadership that was propped up by the former colonial powers. And the response from Europeans, and particularly the French, has not been kind.

RIA has had several assassination attempts, and this is the cycle that you see continuing all through the world. Whether you're talking about former European colonial powers or the United States, this is the pattern.

you start seeing revolutions [:

How you see this tying back to Trump is that this is more of the same. This is another instance of the US creating chaos like they did in the post nine 11 era, which sent us on a 20 year adventure where trillions of dollars in blood and treasure were wasted in. A regime change effort in a nation building effort, and we got nothing out of it.

What actually continued to happen was that you saw the 1% continue to flourish while the rest of us are getting left worse and worse off, and Venezuela is another version of that taking shape.

removal of Maduro. And they [:

But what's gonna happen a few months from now is that those Venezuelan people are going to be crushed under the boot of some American back dictator that is put into place to serve the various corporate interests that America has. And let's keep in mind, this is not just about. Another war for oil. This is also war for access to the lithium triangle, which Venezuela is a corridor to.

South America is rich in resources and American tech billionaires need resources to fund their pet projects and continue driving up the hype about the next generation of AI that they're gonna bring forward. This is just another extraction effort by the US and particularly the billionaire interests that control this regime to get paid back for keeping this guy out of jail and put back into power.

Put back into power.

There are three [:

Most of these countries that the right wing likes to label as shithole countries, those countries are where they are because of direct and indirect meddling. Buy those colonial powers .

The second thing that we need to keep in mind and understand is that not only is Venezuela about oil, not only is Venezuela about rare earth minerals and various other elements that the tech sector needs, not only is it about feeding the billionaire class.

It is also about preventing Venezuela from strengthening its partnership within BrickX,

ces. Were going to China and [:

Venezuela was already building tight, alliances with Russia and China, and by taking over Venezuela and impacting China's bottom line. By having China default on the loans that had given to Venezuela, it's a win-win for the US and it also hampers bricks.

s has got to be so abhorrent [:

So when you look at what this regime did in terms of authorizing a nighttime raid into a foreign country and kidnapping the. Leaders of that country. It violates any number of international laws, but it doesn't matter. This regime has now set the precedent that if you are in opposition to US interests, this regime will do whatever it can to.

Literally pluck you out of your borders and try you here on some trumped up charges.

So Greenland needs to be aware of that. Canada needs to be aware of that, and you've already seen this regime. Start looking at Columbia, Cuba, Mexico, and other countries as a warning that this could be coming to your doorstep as well.

When you take all [:

It's something that's not connected.

There's a reason why this regime and other regimes want to defund education because it keeps that sort of information hidden away from public view. We're not in the business of teaching real history because if you know the real history of how this country was built, you'd be embarrassed to call yourself an American.

d to realize that there is a [:

This just proves that nothing is off the table. If it means that he is going to create an event where his own people are blown up to create a distraction, I would bet any amount of money that he would be willing to take it that far as a justification to maintain and consol, continue consolidating power, and I dare you to try to find evidence to the.
