Vincie Ho, Ph.D., is a humane educator and social justice advocate, whom founded RISE Travel Institute in June 2020 with a mission to inspire responsible, impactful, sustainable and ethical travel through education. Her work focuses on engaging young people in important conversations around human rights, animal protection and environmental sustainability in the context of travel and beyond. Today we touched on several aspects of ethical travel, with close attention to the global refugee crisis and whether or not you should spend tourism dollars in countries that commit crimes against humanity.
