Shownotes
In this episode, Jenna Marilyn continues her journey through yoga’s eightfold path, closing out the Yamas with Aparigraha (non-possessiveness) and opening the door to the Niyamas — the observances that turn our attention inward.
From exploring attachment, trust, and the stories we tell ourselves, to reflecting on Saucha (purity) and Santosha (contentment), Jenna unpacks how these teachings are less about rigid rules and more about awareness, choice, and freedom. Through her own stories and the wisdom of the Sutras, she reveals how the practices of non-attachment, cleansing, and contentment can shift us out of survival mode and into presence, creativity, and joy.
This episode is both grounding and expansive — a reminder that the point isn’t perfection, but living with intentionality, curiosity, and a sense of play.
Stay tuned for Part 3, where Jenna dives into the final three Niyamas: Tapas (discipline), Svadhyaya (self-study), and Ishvarapranidhana (surrender to a higher power).
