As many of us are growing up, we hear over and over again the importance of obedience. Yet those of us who take the time to ask the right questions begin to notice that the world of obedience is not reciprocal, but rather is a power struggle. Yet people still adhere to something nonetheless. That is their examples: the people they respect and emulate, they also imitate.
