Assessment typically falls into one of two broad categories. Formative Assessment which hopefully in”forms” your teaching and allows for minor course corrections. And Summative Assessment which sort of “sums up” how you did with your instructional design and instruction. Both are important but I’ve found that formative assessment is often neglected. In this video, I share my thoughts on formative assessment and how it can be used to save time and money.
