Remember Moses who felt inadequate and incapable of leadership led the Israelites to freedom; Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, but. was elevated to leadership in Egypt and provided for his family and his people during a famine; Joshua followed God’s instruction, circled Jericho, and the walls of the city came down. David when only a boy, was called by God to become a king. Daniel refused to bow down to the king and was protected and saved from death in a lion’s den. Peter, by faith, walked on water during a storm, Paul and Silas were thrown into prison, prayed and worshipped God and the prison doors opened and they were freed. In each of these situations, God used imperfect people during struggle to accomplish his purpose.
