Region 24 began with two familiar foes facing off for the third time in the 2021 season. The Reese Rockets would end up taking all three victories against the Bad Axe Hatchets, including the regional semi-final 58-53. The Bad Axe Hatchets finish the season with just three losses (all from Reese) but return their leading scorer for the 2022 campaign. Reese would advance to take on Flint Beecher in the regional final, losing on their home court.
