Transcripts

Speaker:

I'd say I'm in search really just to help people.

Speaker:

It's really rewarding.

Speaker:

What, what I do being able to not only help the client and the organization, but also help the candidate and help them improve their life.

Speaker:

You know, we were talking with people at a pretty interesting transition.

Speaker:

Typically, we just provide some direction, provide some clarity at a pretty nerve wracking time for some people.

Speaker:

A couple years ago, I was working with a candidate in, uh, rural Montana, and, uh, needed a position where he could work remotely, had a little kid, had another one on the way, he was looking for a new opportunity to earn more and have more upward growth, and placed him with our client and hit the ground running, and it's been fun to watch him grow.

Speaker:

Just even on social media and posting pictures and videos.

Speaker:

But I remember the first time that he hit their incentive trip and they went to Hawaii and it was the first time that he or his wife had been out of the lower 48.

Speaker:

That was such a big, big deal.

Speaker:

I remember him calling me, just how much it's changed his life.

Speaker:

They were able to buy a house, which they, was one of their goals.

Speaker:

He wanted to, uh, get his wife a brand new car and they were able to do that.

Speaker:

It's been really cool just seeing the impact.

Speaker:

I'm with Thinking Ahead for a couple of reasons.

Speaker:

Probably the biggest is the culture.

Speaker:

The people that I just get to surround myself with every day.

Speaker:

The mentors, that was the biggest thing that attracted me to it when I was interviewing, considering all the other options that I was looking at, was just my direct leader, the lifestyle that they had, just knowing that I wanted that example and in my life.

Speaker:

Second reason is again, just being able to impact people and being able to help them day to day, the flexibility of the career and being able to do what I want when I want and being treated as a, an adult, as a professional, you know, my leadership just trusting I'm going to get the job done no matter what they say that you're the collection of the five people that you spend the most time with.

Speaker:

And, uh, you know, if you're spending that much time in your career, you probably should spend it with quality people who are going to push yourself, help challenge yourself to grow.

Speaker:

And expect more.

Speaker:

And you have that opportunity with thinking ahead.

Speaker:

It's very entrepreneurial and it's rewarding to those who are willing to work hard.

Speaker:

And if you're willing to do that, there's a system in place to help you be successful.

Speaker:

There's examples of people around you and we've been growing, so there's no better time to continue to make an impact with what you're doing day to day.
