Anthony Vidal Torres (he/him)
Anthony Vidal Torres is the Communications Director for Get Free. Anthony is a messaging specialist, political strategist, and organizer originally from Long Island, New York. He’s supported winning campaigns across the country and most recently served as the Director of Collaboration at ASO Communications and has been a key steward and trainer of the Race Class Narrative. Prior to this, he led communication efforts for the national grassroots campaign to impeach Trump in 2019, and held a variety of leadership roles in the climate movement.
Nicole Carty (she/her)
Nicole Carty is the Executive Director of Get Free, a GenZ and Millennial-led movement to repair past harms, remove ongoing barriers to equality, and realize a future of freedom for all. She was born and raised in Greater Atlanta, with her father growing up in Georgia under Jim Crow and whose grandfather served as a pastor and leader in the local civil rights movement alongside MLK in the 1960s. As a movement practitioner in Occupy Wall Street and the Movement for Black Lives, and a strategist and core team member at Momentum, Nicole has spent her career developing her craft regarding what makes movements strategic, impactful, and successful.
