Summary:

Today, God is gathering His people together. He is looking for a relationship with them. We can simply relate to Him, have that fellowship with Him through His family, and know that He loves us. There are no high or low positions in His family, but we all just sit at His feet to learn from Him. This is how His family functions in this day of His kingdom.

Show Notes:

  • I think God is looking for a relationship. A relationship in knowing that He loves you, that you can relate to Him; and can have that fellowship with Him.

  • When we are relating in a simplistic honesty in what we are saying and there is no offense in it, that is an ineradicable place to be.

  • The church has never been able to really be honest about how this relationship really works which is how the Christ in each of us relates to one another.

  • Those who try to Lord it over others and try to hold a position of influence find that the Spirit of Christ resist them.

  • God has scattered His people throughout the World. He has broken up man's organizations that have hemmed His people in. Now He will gather them together as His many-membered body on the earth.

  • Get these plaques out of religion and into reality in our lives.

Quotes:

  • The kingdom of God is relationships, which means people, which means God's trying to dwell in us. He's trying to bring Himself in us and through us to one another. And that is the kingdom.

  • The more we are relating like this, we are getting the religion out of our relating

  • .We've heard the grounds all level at the cross. And it's a great saying, but it really is the truth that there's no, we're all just sitting at His feet; learning.

  • If you are honest by the Spirit, the purpose is to deliver, not to put anyone down.

Scriptural References:

I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Take Away:

We have entered into His rest. He is directing and guiding us. We are listening to the voice of the Lord. We are truly functioning, becoming what God called us to be.

Transcripts

Ken:

How do you relate to the Lord?

Ron:

I just talk to him.

Ken:

Me too. Do you think He wants more than that?

Ron:

No, not really.

Ken:

I don't either. I think God is looking for a relationship. I think the whole thing, and a relationship is knowing that He loves you. And that you can just simply relate to Him; have that fellowship with Him. I know that He pulls us up short sometimes when He's trying to get our attention. But it's never abusive. It just simply, this is something I want to talk to you about kind of thing.

Ron:

He's relating to us. And how's He going to do that except through through people? You know, if the kingdom of God is relationships, that means people, that means God's trying to dwell in us. He's trying to bring Himself in us and through us to one another; and that is the kingdom.

Ken:

When you flow together when you're talking and relating; there's nothing you can't relate on - it is so simplistic - and you're so honest, in what you're saying - and yet there is no offense and all of it. Now, that is an incredible place to be.

Ron:

The more we're relating like this, we're getting the religion out of our relating.

Ken:

We're hitting keys today that the church has never been able to face. It's always been there, but we've never been able, to be honest about it.

Ron:

Christ confronted the same thing. In His day, He confronted the Pharisees and their whole thing was their position. They didn't want to lose their position. They didn't want to lose their money. You know, you're going to face the same thing today is when you start - when you start talking to pastors, preachers, and not just pastors and preachers; people out in the world that are have positions and companies, leaders of nations. It's all position, money and position, thinking - and Christ comes right up against that.

Ken:

Yes, He does.

Trish:

We've always heard, you know, out there, there's songs about it. And we've heard the ground all level at the cross. And it's a great saying, but it really is the truth that there's no - we're all just sitting at His feet; learning. It's not just a nice saying a plaque and the ground is all level at the cross. It's just a simple place to live. As far as religion goes, Let's get all the the sayings off the plaques - including I have some in my house, as you know. But you know, we get these things out of religion and off the plaque and into reality.

Ron:

The things of the heart are really, they're wonderful, but boy, oh, boy, they are; they can hurt. God help us with this, because this, this is what we're touching on, is volatile, it's intense. When you start really being honest, by the Spirit.

Ceasar:

if you are honest, by the Spirit, the purpose is to deliver, not to put anyone down. If it's by the Spirit, it might cut deep because it separates spirit from Soul. I must move by the Spirit, not by my thoughts by my human criticism, but by the Spirit speak a Living Word that might get deep, but it's going to deliver.

Ron:

That only comes by God - deals working with your Spirit, because you're not going to just come up with that. You're going to speak the truth and it's going to hurt somebody and then God's gonna go Mm hmm. Time to work on you some, you know, and He works on you and you go through stuff. The flow we're talking about today is becoming God's living stones. Isn't it amazing that this is happening?

Ken:

He is gathering His people together - and the identification is our connections in the Spirit.

Ceasar:

This time it is not being done by man, it's the father who is gathering together, the members each member to the right member.

Ron:

I love that Caesar because this just does not make sense to humans. So God explodes all these churches, in all these gatherings of His quote body, He explodes them all right. He sends these people all over the place. And then He goes now I'll gather them. I'll gather my sheep. And how He does it? I don't know how he does it, but He does.

Ceasar:

He promised that in the Old Testament I scattered them, but after that I will gather them back together.

Ken:

Unless the Lord builds the house, those that try to build it, build it in vain. He's the one that's doing the building. We are His servants; and we are those who have come into our relationship with Him, so that He can direct our lives.

Mike:

You are a chosen race. When He created us, we were a new species of people, a new race of people. We are patterned after Christ. He was the new thing. He was different than Adam. We've got a whole history here from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and our own history in the kingdom day, that we're just starting to write the New Kingdom Bible out here. He is faithful to do every word He's ever spoken.

Ken:

The hardest thing is, God doesn't want us to put the hand to the plow. And that's one thing that human beings do. We always want to make the changes ourselves. We want to build the houses ourselves. Instead of allowing God to do the work. That's what we're the entering into His rest is so important because He will direct He will guide. This is exactly where we're at. We're listening to the voice of the Lord. The Lord is directing. And He is establishing the work in the body of Christ that is necessary to come into that place where we can truly function and be what God called us to be.
